Which is exactly why the food caught us completely off guard. We started with two lemonades, cheesy garlic bread, and a meat lovers pizza. The lemonades tasted like the drink machine had waved at the lemonade mix from across the room. They were so watered down that I started wondering if I was just drinking lightly flavored water. Next came the cheesy garlic bread. Calling it "cheesy garlic bread" felt... optimistic. It was sliced bread with a few pieces of melted cheese on top, served with a side of marinara that tasted like it had a nostalgic reunion with an elementary school cafeteria. Thankfully, the table had salt, pepper, grated Parmesan, and red pepper flakes, so I did my best to audition for an episode of Kitchen Rescue and season it myself.
