We stopped into 7th Street Market before the Hornets game and got this pizza for the first time. Delicious!! Our 6 year old loved it. We got 2 small pies and it was perfect for 2 adults and 1 kiddo. Super nice staff! They told us 25 mins and it ended up being about 15. Definitely recommend!

Visited Charlotte for an event and this spot had great reviews. It's located in a food mall downtown. The woman who took my order was great in explaining the menu to me. I overall thought it was just an ok pizza. Not bad at all but didn't blow my mind. All in all, a decent pizza. I'd give it a 3.5 stars. The food mall had a lot of different options, definitely a vibe to bring a friend group.

One of the best pizzas I've tried in the city! Bummer that it's downtown and parking is tricky (not good) I tried the hot honey pepperoni. OMG. I brought it to a pizza party and it won hands-down. I will be back to try other things.

Only got the grandma pie with pepperoni, but it was amazing. The sauce is on point, crust perfectly crispy and soft and the flavors blend so well together. The only shortfall was that the cheese was slightly cold so it wasn't super melty (I also did pick up so I didn't get it fresh). I am 100% planning on coming back and trying their other options!

Located in a kitschy bohemian food court in uptown Charlotte. The atmosphere here is cool and eclectic. The service was fast and friendly. The pizza was good, but missed expectations given the high rating on Google. I had a plain pepperoni. Generally crispy, but foldable crust, the dough and sauce had good flavor. It tasted fresh and the price was fair for this style and quality. A 10 inch might be good for 2 people if you had a salad or another side, but I put away the whole thing and washed it down with a beer from the tap across the court. No major complaints, just not worth of 5 stars.

When you walk into 7th Street Market the first thing you smell will be Geno D's Pizza. And it smells good! Staff at the counter were friendly and helpful when placing my order. I got a 10" pizza and 3 garlic knots. Both exceeded expectations. The sauce they use is delicious. Yes, you can find better pizza in the world but for a tiny little location in a marketplace, this stuff is great. I'm already craving more garlic knots!

Found this place when we parked in the 7th Street Parking Garage so the location was definitely convenient. It's located in a food hall with a few other vendors around so lots of options. The service was fast! The cashier was super nice. They did validate my parking. My daughter had the pepperoni pizza which she loved. I ordered the pizza knots which I did not love. There wasn't enough to them. When I eat garlic knots I need the flavor to be able to standalone in the dough so if there isn't any sauce and cheese I can still enjoy them. That wasn't the case with these. Overall I would try pizza the next time I go and maybe I will enjoy that better.

    1. Meat Pizza - Topped with a generous amount of Pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham, and meatballs. The crust is soft to chew. A carnivore's delight. The only negative thing I will say....more sauce is needed. #GratuityAdded 2. Cinnamon Knots - A crispy on the outside and soft on the inside bread knot topped with warm chocolate sauce, cinnamon, and powdered sugar. Some of the best I've had. #Top5CLT #CltPizza #7thMarket #CLTeats #CltUptownEats #CltFoodies #charlottesgotalot #OfflineCharlotte #OfflineCLT #GenoDs #cltdesserts #keeppounding #ally CLTFC #JCSUHOCO #BacktotheFord #CLTAgenda #LunchCLT #CLTHalloween

Updated review: We went back today to Geno D's and had an amazing time! The pizza is excellent and no exaggeration it's the best in Charlotte. We talked to the owner Gina and she was so nice. She even offered to slice my 3 years olds pizza into some squares without us asking. You can tell she is a genuine good person who really loves her job. I highly recommend Geno D's!

Wow the reviews are so well earned! The focaccia bread was fluffy, cheesy and delicious. The pizza had a thin but crisp crust with a perfectly seasoned sauce and lots of pepperonis. They do not offer slices but do offer a small and larger pizza options

Even a basic pepperoni pizza was amazballs... we got spoiled today

Not only are the pizzas absolutely massive, but they're also incredibly delicious. The crust deserves a special mention, A+ all the way. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.

The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!
