Love love love this place! I tried a red and a white and loved them both. The thinner crust, sauce and toppings all compliment each other so well. I got takeout so I can't speak on the service too much but the girl who checked me out was great. Stopped in on a whim a couple of weeks ago - was impressed with the use of space at this cozy spot! It was clear that they could accommodate large parties if needed. We ordered the Di Parma and Napule personal pizzas. They came out fast and were delicious. As much as I love this place, I keep forgetting to return here. I finally chose this place for our date night...and this time, we sat outside on their patio. For starters, we shared their Eggplant Parmigiana...and for our main dish, we both chose pizza, so we shared "Trio" and "Prosciutto Funghi"...and ended with their Vanilla Gelato. Well, all I can say is OMG...Everything was so Delicioso!! I absolutely love their crispy, thin pie crusts. Can't really think of any other pizzeria in town that can make crispier, thinner pies than here?? I had their "Trio" before and LOVED it, and today, it was every bit as good as I remembered it. The "Prosciutto Funghi" was amazing too! I was really impressed with their gorgeously presented, appetizer-sized Eggplant Parmigiana...and even their super-smooth Vanilla Gelato was so much better than expected! Service was stellar as well. This place is in an urban setting embedded in a large new complex that is hard to park at but is walkable from the greenway. Notably, the outdoor seating gets good shade at lunchtime. Ordering a salad yielded me a substantial plate with slice pear, candied walnuts, and goat cheese; the dressing was hardly necessary. My margherita was of the extra thin crusted variety. There are no bubbles and not a ton of flavor in a crust like this. Given that the salad was so big, I was at least able to finish the pizza because of its thin crust. Not the best pizza in Charlotte, but a nice place to get together. read more

Great menu. Prompt Service. Casual setting. We came on a Wed night before 7PM and didn't have any trouble getting seated inside. Local IPA beer selection is very narrow (one). My bride ordered the Dolce Salato pizza ($17) and it was tasty and the crust perfectly cooked. While she also commented the bacon didn't seem totally cooked and would have been better it was cut up into smaller pieces and spread across the entire pizza. As soon as you walk into this place you feel like you have stumbled upon a hole in the wall in Italy. All the servers were very polite, professional, and Italian! We knew very quick this place was going to be a hit. We ordered the meatballs and ricotta as an appetizer. Very traditional and homemade deliciousness! Wish it came with more. An area I try to avoid because it's very congested. But it is so worth it to come here. This go round I ordered the vegetariana pizza and it was delicious! I had enough to be full and then 2 slices left for later. Great portions! The service was fast and super friendly. The first time I came here I wanted a pasta dish and the options on the menu weren't exciting me. The older gentleman that works there was so so so kind to literally create a pasta for me that wasn't even on the menu. It was also delicious. I mean that is next level care!!! Among the most delicious Italian food I've had (and I've had a lot of great Italian food). About as Italian as it gets, in a great way! I wandered over to Pizzeria Omaggio which sits in a tidy little retail area near Best Buy. It looks a bit bland to me but I go in anyhow given the great reviews. Seating inside is smallish but there's also a nice sidewalk patio to enjoy your meal with some fresh air. I'm seated at the bar right next to the kitchen so I get to watch all the food get made. As I'm perusing the menu trying to pick a wine for my meal, an older Italian gentleman (I'm assuming the owner) stops by with a smile. He points to his favorite chianti and it sounds good to me! For dinner I do the Calabrese pie with sausage, pepperoni and mozz. Omaggios does a wonderful thin crust which is light and tender, great stuff. And I finish off with affogato for dessert (gelato, espresso) which is also the owner's recommendation. Overall I was really impressed with the authenticity of Pizzeria Omaggio. It's about as Italian a restaurant I've been to in North Carolina and I used to live up north. Great food, great service with the little Italian touches make for a great dining experience.
