Minus 1 star because you need to place your order through the touchscreen even though the worker was watching me struggle with it since it does not have error messages when you try to submit the order and an option was not selected. Instead she should have offered and just placed the order with her. The drink was good. I ordered a large match green tea with boba. Good earthy matcha taste, not overly sweet and the boba was perfectly chewy. Lacking service - The server behind the counter didn't greet us nor look up once to acknowledge new customers. He took our order and quickly made the drinks. Unfortunately 50% sugar here is still extremely sweet, I had to water my drink down at home afterwards. Boba here was old - hard and chewy. They have a kiosk to purchase your drinks which was easy and simple to use. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. I'd say this boba store would satisfy your boba cravings. Been wanting to try this boba shop, but there wasn't one near the SGV. Since I was in the area on Thursday early afternoon I decided to stop by before heading back home. I was excited to try the honey golden pearls. So I ordered the Japanese roasted oolong milk tea with honey golden pearls, but was told the honey golden pearls are no longer available. Then I opted for the crème brûlée pudding instead since I wasn't going to get any other topping. The drink had a good strong flavor and paired well with the crème brûlée pudding. I wish I was able to try the honey golden pearls although I'm not sure if it's permanently not offered or just happened I was there at the wrong time because I still see it on their online ordering option. There were also a few tables inside to sit and enjoy the drinks in a nice relaxing ambience. I went on a weekend shortly after their grand opening, and I knew better, but since it's right off the 15 freeway, I didn't mind it. Obviously, I had to wait a while for my drink since they were so busy, but it tasted good. Employees are friendly and patient. The place is clean and bright inside. Aesthetics are on point! So I discovered this place via Yelp's Community event, and I have ended up returning! My favorite is the honey golden pearl green milk tea, that I get with no ice and 20% sugar. I haven't been able to eat super sweet things, so I get my items with less sugar in effect. I LOVE LOVE the honey golden pearls/boba. It's so soft and super light. I also decided to be adventurous and try the brown sugar pearl milk tea by substituting the honey golden pearls. It wasn't for me. Parking is not too bad as they share the plaza with a couple of the other stores. I seem to always go when it's not super busy - which I'm thankful for! I do hope that Daboba does come out with more drinks as majority of their menu does have caffeine in it, and sometimes people don't want caffeine. But service has been nice, and I'm happy to have Daboba in a nearby area by me! read more

Roast milk tea is good, I also am sucker for fruit tea and this place is decent but man was so disappointed how much fruit they stuffed into the cup which basically meant there was so little tea/drink to consume. So I never got the fruit tea after the first time if that's how they make the drink. I just stick to the milk tea boba. My daughter LOVES boba so we figured we would give this place a try. We came here in a weekday afternoon. The inside was nice and clean. They will have to get it together for me to come back and update my review. Absolutely look at the sticker labels to double check your order when you get it, because they gave a SWEETENED drink to a person with DIABETES when they specifically asked not to. We only ordered 2 drinks: Both Large Wintermelon Green Tea ($5.95). One with 0% sugar because they need to watch their sugar levels, and Grass Jelly. The other with 50% sugar with the toppings as they come (with boba and coconut jelly). They switched the toppings with the drinks, and since we got different toppings, we just looked at the toppings and thought we had our respective drinks. So basically they made the 0% sweet drink with boba and coconut jelly, and the 50% sweet drink with grass jelly. I drank mine (the one that was supposed to be half sweet and standard toppings) immediately, while the other didn't drink theirs until later that night. While I was drinking mine, I thought that it was a bit bitter but thought that their half sweet was just a totally different scale from other places. It wasn't until later that night when the other tasted their drink and realized that they got the wrong drink with the right topping. And even though I had already finished my drink, they couldn't have the boba in it anyway so they were left not being able to drink either of the drinks. This wasn't the first time they had this experience at this location. They said that the last time they came here they also switched the toppings of the drinks, and they also CONTAMINATED the drinks with each other. She had ordered the Wintermelon Green Tea the first time as well and they had dropped in bits of passion fruit seeds from the other drink in their order. So much yikes with this place. I'm going to be avoiding this location for a while until they get it together and train their workers better to pay better attention to each drink and make sure there's no cross contamination going on. read more

My husband and I have wanted to come here since we saw an advertisement on Yelp. Today we had our minds set on going, and so we did. We arrived around 3 PM and ordered 2 drinks to start as we weren't sure if our children would like them. We later ordered another as the drinks were delicious. My husband ordered the Brown Sugar, and my children had the strawberry and mango. All drinks were extremely well made, tasty, and worth going out of our way for. Two slight drawbacks. My husband and daughter's drink took 10 minutes to be completed, and the cashier tried to charge me $.25 for water. That is until the manager swept in and said it wasn't $.25. The cashier seemed confused when the manager said that, which led me to believe the manager may have made an exception for me. Either way, I was able to get some water free of charge. I usually go to the one in Santee, but was on my way back from North County so I jumped off the freeway to come here. The place looked closed as the "open" sign was dark and nobody was inside. They don't have any public restrooms like the Santee store. I got my usual roasted brown sugar milk tea but they were out of oat milk AND crème brûlée. Brown sugar, cheese series, frappes and fruit teas, hot or cold etc. The interior is bright and welcoming, and the staff are kind and make each drink to order. I didn't make any adjustments, but they do have ice/sugar levels and dairy free substitutes available. I appreciate that their cup linings show all their locations, but also this menu has a drink series special to the RB location coming soon. I don't really drink boba that much so I'm not the biggest specialist but I will say this place is bomb! I got the milk choco boba, I think that's what it's called. I really enjoyed all the different flavors in my drink. I mixed them all up together and It was very refreshing. At the bottom of the cup I can taste caramelized sugar which I'm not a big fan of but I really enjoyed it. Overall presentation of the drink is great and taste even better! Came to this location during their Soft Opening. Very busy when we arrived with a line out the door, but the line moved relatively quick as we were able to order within about 10-15 mins of waiting. Location isn't very wide but is surprisingly long, which was a bit odd. Quite a few seats but most were taken up by other patrons who were waiting on their orders. Interior has a decent look to it, on closer inspection you can tell some of the items were placed with some haste as they still had their price tags still attached. Nothing I can criticize but definitely thought it was funny. We ordered the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk which came with the Honey Golden Pearl Green Milk Tea. Both were good but I definitely enjoyed the flavors of the roasted Brown Sugar more, but neither of the drinks blew me away in terms of flavor. One of the biggest flaws, which I sincerely hope they fix as time goes on is their drink carriers and lids. Nearly lost all 4 of my drinks while I was walking them to the car since the carrier is far too shallow and not secure enough to hold the drinks. Luckily, we were able to keep them upright long enough to make it to my car with no thanks from the carrier itself. As for the lids, they also didn't secure very nicely and have a weird opening for a straw where you basically have to rip open this flap to get them in, which also takes off the lid itself in the process. Quite the hassle after narrowly escaping a mess of dropping the drinks before. Hopefully, they take this feedback and change where they order their supply as these will most likely upset other customers with the same issue, and lead to a far worse outcome. Unlikely that I'll go out of my way to come here again, but it was a pleasure to try none the less, excluding the hassles. read more
