We happened upon this place by searching Yelp for a halfway point between Spring, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana to meet family to drop off cousins. We knew nothing except the pictures looked delicious and the reviews were great. Trust me you will not be disappointed! I will advise though we arrived during the prime lunch time snd the line was out the door and no empty tables. Obviously everybody already knew what a great place this was!! The goat cheese burger is great! The single order of fries is a bit much for one person, but they have bagged potato chips as well. The root beer float (choice of root beer, St. Arnold's or Abida) is tasty and goes good with the fries. Sometimes Willy Burger is a tad crowded, so this place is a good second choice. read more

Came by this joint as per the excellent reviews of this place. Was hungry and had cravings for a hearty burger. And was not disappointed! Feeling super hangry, I ordered the avocado burger, with bacon, a fried egg, and with the jalapeno cheese bun! I guess I expected a bun with wedges of jalapeno and cheese. But the bun wasn't like that (with no fault to the establishment). That being said, it was such a soft and squishy bun, that I absolutely loved it and will probably have it the exact same way next time. Also loved the hand cut fries. While it didn't seem to be seasoned with salt (there's always ketchup to fix that!), I enjoyed the texture and flavor; it tastes exactly like how home made fries should be! Maybe I was just so hungry, but even the sweet tea was fantastic. Tasted light and didn't have an "overly steeped" taste. Based on the reviews of the other burgers, I would happily come back and give the other options a try! The drive thru is a little awkward if you wanted to make the order at the drive thru, as there's hardly a place to wait. But it's a nice feature to be able to call in your order and then simply pick it up at the drive thru; it seems like most people make their orders by phone and only use the drive through for pick up. read more

Enough with my terrible beatnik impression but with a name like Daddio's I expected guys wearing berets reading bad poetry while beating on some bongos. Instead I got a really good burger. All of the burgers are made fresh after you place you order. The only way a burger should be done. I ordered a patty melt. It came with swiss cheese and grilled onions. It was really good except it's served on rye bread. I f'n hate rye bread. That's my own fault. Reading is fundamental kids. That's when I realized there really must be beatniks running the joint. This wasn't a kosher deli, it's a burger joint! Rye bread....Grrrr. Anyway, I scarfed it down. Despite the Rye breads efforts, the burger overpowered it and still made me a fan. I also got the parmesan truffle fries. The fries are fresh cut and covered in parmesan cheese. The serving was huge easily splittable. Using Yelp, based on ratings I decided to try this place but was disappointed in the quality/ value. 12/20/2020 @5:45p-ordered a simple cheeseburger rating 2/5 very overcooked patty or it had been sitting idle for a while; fried rating 1/5 luke warm and more hard crunchy pieces than actual whole fries... bottom of the batch I guess; vanilla malt rating 1/5 way too thin. I ordered delivery. It was so good I recommend the brussle sprouts they are amazing. The chicken sandwich i had was juicy and the mushrooms were seasoned well. I wish I could have eaten it when it was hot Im sure it would have tasted 10 times better but I work in the er and shitz happens. I look forward to eating it hot and fresh as soon as possible. great food! quick service and pet friendly on the patio. parking is sometimes a pain, very small parking lot and on the corner of calder and lucas. pretty tight. parking lot is also full of pot holes. cool atmosphere, daddio's seems to refer to the hipsters in the early 1960's, so the motif is absolutly 1960's, very mod and fun. we will be back! read more

been twice first time [april 27, 2016] had the bacon cheddar on jalepeno cheddar bun with home cut fries---delish second time today [mothers day may 8, 2016] this time there was 10 of us. it was 4pm...so not busy on holiday---only 1 table of 4. the owner/manager was there along with 1 worker-bee its self serve---and they take that literally because we did some wurk!! we combined & arranged 3 tables outside...got all the condiments [salt & pepper, ketchup, texjoy---each one was dirty and/or sticky--which is a detail that i find gross] once we got that sorted...the table tops were dirty...go figure?!! i went in and asked the worker-bee to please come wipe them off. he came outside with wet paper-towels---i kid you not...about 5!! [side note---ya know...what kind of business person...would open a burger joint in this town....with all the competition [and there's a lot for good burger joints] why wouldnt this person want to make a great first impression on the public? have they been in business for years and years? nope] staff needs to be more hands on...and productive. it's all the details. clean the tables & the condiments after every table turn over, check and empty the trash cans--not too much to ask, right?!! oh! and here's another example of the lazy---there was a empty table inside by the window that had a stack of 5 or more empty burger baskets...they were there when we arrived at 4...and they were still there when we left at 530p. see what i mean? the perception---it makes you think that other areas are not clean...unsanitary. this second visit, i tried the fried egg burger---it was good. i liked it. fried egg was cooked hard with no runny yoke..which if i had to guess, more people probably like it that way [but, if i had been asked, i would of preferred a runny yoke] and speaking of...why dont they ask how you want your burger cooked? tried the onion rings--that's a fail. they were like scrap onions...just pieces really...not a whole round onion "ring" in the bunch---so, that was disappointing too. there will be no 3rd visit. read more

Lunch today was awesome. Burgers, chicken sandwich, onion straws, and grilled chicken salad. Everything was great. Generous portions. Chicken was flavorful and juicy. The jalapeño cheddar bun and green chilies on the burger were just the right spicy. Went back for fried Brussel sprouts that were crispy and cheesy with Parmesan. This was my wife's 1st visit here and my 2nd visit. She had the pineapple burger and I had the regular bacon cheddar and we loved them both. The fries were great and the small order is enough to split. They had several craft beers to select at only $3.70 each. Wish they offered a dark ale or porter beer. These are really good burgers. $13 for gross Parmesan truffle fries and a sugary tasting burger with added toppings that were either messed up or left off. I ordered the groovy green chili burger. The added fried egg was so over cooked that there was no liquid yolk. The yolk is the reason I asked for a fried egg. I also ordered goat cheese which was completely left off. Wasted $2.09 for nonexistent goat cheese and a greasy over cooked egg sans yolk. Had the jalapeño cheese bun substituted. Bad choice. Tasted like sweet bread. Not a good mix with the supposed-to-be-spicy burger. Burger had added fresh jalapeños and devil sauce, but it was 0% spicy. The fries tasted like pure nasty cooking oil. Waited way too long (20 minutes) for the food. Should have been faster since there were only 2 other orders placed during the entire time I was there. One of the cooks had a runny nose and kept wiping it on the back of his hand. gross. Husband ate down the street at Willy's Burgers. I tasted it and thought it was better even though it was super expensive ($14). Willy's is better than Daddio's. read more
