Although it's a pizza joint by its name.. But I really like the burgers here. They taste great and are a good value. I've tried the chicken parm and was sadly disappointed. Cool place with a decent menu and nice prices. The Server (labeled #1) was awesome. Food was ok. However the reason for the one star review was the clientele of the night. And more importantly, the way they were dealt with. At a barrel shaped high top in center of room by the bar was a group of 4 guys. Loud obnoxious. They looked like a table full of Joe Dirts. The frustrating thing is the leader of this knucklehead meet up was vaping throughout the night. Manager dude with too knot saw him, as did both of female servers. The health department needs to visit this place. Nobody needs to see and smell huge vape clouds as they are trying to eat. Shame on management for allowing this to happen. read more

Second best pizza in Claremont just behind Rumunto's but prices here are WAY better which brings this up quite a bit. Ordered two pizzas for delivery and delivery was completed in a reasonable time while allowing me to tip the driver on the receipt which is something other places don't do - great if you don't carry cash. DO NOT DINE IN! They FORGOT our order which we were waiting a whole hour for, but would gladly overserve the 5 riotous grandpas at the bar. In Claremont, the pickings for good pizza are pretty slim. Daddy's is one of the bright spots. In their favor, they ALWAYS deliver -- even if it's just outside of Claremont. Overall, their prices are reasonable. Service: The young lady who answers the phone is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Credit/debit cards are accepted. The Upside: Daddy's is reliable in that they deliver at no extra charge every day they're open. The minimum for delivery is fairly low. The pizza toppings are pretty generous and for those of us who love the little fishies, they have anchovies!! Just about every item on the menu is ok or better. They have the usual standard sub rolls and, as a pleasant change of pace, they offer sandwiches on sourdough bread. Numerous beverages -- including approximately 12 beers -- are available. Pepsi products are offered as well as a full bar. The Downside: Prices on their website need updating. I'm not a big fan of that stuff made primarily of egg whites and other non-seafood ingredients that comprise "seafood salad." The size of the Clamstrip Roll (sic) is a little disappointing for the amount charged. Daddy's is closed on Mondays, so there's no pizza for Monday Night Football. read more

Not only did I appreciate them taking my order so late but the food was absolutely delicious. I got a Buffalo chicken grinder, I guess grinder means sub. Daddy's Pizza is a casual restaurant and bar (former Fred's Family Restaurant) located in Downtown Claremont. Like its predecessor, the place has an open concept feel with exposed brick walls, high ceilings with exposed pipes, ample table seating and booths in the dining area, a bar area with flatscreen TV and a takeout counter. The menu offerings include Greek style pizzas, calzones, grinders, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, baked mac & cheese, salads, and fried foods. The prices seem reasonable, most individual items are under $10 and pizzas $7.25 (sm cheese)-$17.75 (lg Daddy's Special). I stopped in here for dinner takeout recently. I ordered a Small 12" Sausage Pizza ($8.25) and a Homemade Lasagna ($7.95) with garlic bread, which was ready in about 20 minutes. The sausage pizza had a firm crispy crust topped with the right amount of sauce, cheese, and ground pieces of Italian sausage, very oily on top, some grease soaking into the cardboard pizza box. The baked lasagna had a hearty taste, which was a good sized portion baked in a round foil container and had layers of firm noodles, ricotta cheese, ground meat and tomato sauce, topped with melted browned mozzarella cheese, orange grease inside. The baked garlic bread (sub roll slices) was crisp and buttery. In all, the food tasted just fine, but it was very very greasy and oily, so I had to pace myself over a few small meals (reheated) to finish the food. read more

I have found the food to be very good here. We have ordered pizza which is delicious! My daughter ordered a sandwich which was very yummy. My salad was really good too. My grandchildren love the food and they are always treated so nice when we eat there. I love the customer service- we always feel so welcome. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered the daddy's special pizza (not so special.) and jalapeño poppers (waaay better than the pizza). My pizza was so soggy that it would barely come off the box... I couldn't even hold it without my fingers going threw it. There was actually a puddle of grease surrounding it and not even hot. Boyfriend and I passed through on a journey to his mom's place in Unity, NH. Like we do at every pizza joint when I'm paying, we ordered a mushroom pizza and hot wings. The pizza was fine and quite cheap, laden with cheese though with an uninspired sauce, and the wings were lovely; the waitress, as well, was very welcoming and kind. I grew up outside of New York and have had some of the finest food anywhere. Daddy's pizza is really good as is the whole restaurant and pub. The owner is a great guy and so friendly. He has entertainment that is truly enjoyable, comedy, Karaoke, and acoustic guitar playing and singing. Highly recommended a stop there. read more

I chose delivery fully understanding it's never as good as dining inside . Came across several problems. Ordered cheese burger ,fries,ceaser salad. First off burger was ordered med. Well , came medium I'm not a fan of raw meat. 2nd, the fries were not even equivalent in size to a small kids fry from MC.D's, were talking half that. maybe 10 french fries that were way over salted . 3rd the Ceaser salad. Wich is my favorite was horribly botched , the Ceaser salad came with very verry light dressing not even enough to cover the (ICE BURG lettuce ) Wich Was mixed with a small ammount of romaine . Dressing should be given on the side with a take out order to avoid making lettuce wilt and the customer can apply heavily if they choose . So very very small portion of over salted fries ,under cooked burger,wilted iceberg in a CEASER! Put this meal safely in my garbage can instead of my stomach , along with my money . I've lived in Claremont for over 20 years. And never have I ever recieved such awful service for delivery. I waited patiently for an hour to get my food, mind you I ordered 3 things. 2 of them being appetizers, the othe was a sub. Simple. I called back, the woman didn't even remember my name, and wasn't even aware of my delivery! So after being on hold for countless minutes, I was told my order was "the next batch and should be there soon" No apology, just a rushed answer. Food was absolutely terrible. Cold. Cooked half assed. I would rather eat road kill than order from here again. Awful customer service, disgusting cold wet food. Thank you for reminding me where to never order from again. Tell your lazy boss who just sits on his phone all night at the bar to educate his employees on better customer service. Please, for the love of god, do not ever come here, or order from here. I like it here. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very fresh, made daily and tasty. It is not the end all cure all, no, it is just a bar with bar food, but better than the average. And given it is Claremont, it is not bad. Try a burger, truly a delight, they even toast the bun. It is all in the details with food after all. It is the only Pizza place I like in Claremont. I have eaten there quite a bit recently. The food is very good, large portions, and extremely affordable. The service is top notch and the owners are very friendly. I have enjoyed the steak and cheese with mushrooms and bacon and last night ordered a sausage and bacon calzone that was so large, I have leftovers for lunch. In fact, I dropped it in my driveway when I got home and dusted it off as I did not want to let something so good go to waste.
