I had a yearning for deep-dish Chicago style pizza and I have not found it in any pizza store in the area - and wham! reading Yelp reviews I saw that it does indeed have Chicago style pizza. Even though it's a 18 minute drive, my deep-dish craving was unquenched and I made the trip. Great service, great ambiance, all friendly and congenial. The best part was the Caprese Deep Dish. Oh my god! Tons of sauce, thick and juicy and with the aroma of garlic and olive oil. And although I ordered a personal size (my other half got chicken and spinach thin crust), I was only able to eat two slices, they are so thick and good we ate two more days out of the pizza.... I've been seriously craving an authentic tasting Chicago deep dish pizza, but living in New Hampshire makes that a little bit hard. I was so excited to find that Ziggy's has a deep dish on their menu! We got the pizza for take out last week, upon opening it, the crust was clearly quite toasty, but the flavor of the pizza was SO good and it definitely hit the spot! Great pizza spot! We have dined in and gotten take out. They used to have a bar area of to the right with seating in addition to the dining area, but that has been closed for the past couple years. The dining room isn't huge but does have some tables. The pizza is delicious! Very cheesy and the crust wasn't too thick! Definitely reminded me of a New York style pizza. We also got the omnivore, basically a cross between meat lovers and veggie. It was sooooo good. The girl we had on the phone when placing the order was so delightful and helpful, and was just as pleasant when we picked up our pizza! read more

Stopped by to grab some grub after hitting the slopes and was surprised to find one of the best pizza places I've ever had in the northeast. Chicago-style pizza fans rejoice, their sauce is tangy and packed with flavor. We complimented our pizza with a basic salad (which was the opposite with their vinaigrette) and a slice of lemon cake. Never have I been to pizza place that offers so many different and creative pizza flavors. From Mac and Cheese pizza to Mediterranean style pizza to the good old regulars of cheese and pepperoni with many more inbetween to satisfy anyone's craving. But pizza is not their only specialty.... I expected that maybe my salad would not be so good or the chicken tenders however, I was incorrect! Our entire meal was delicious! They don't have just one specialty. Everything we ordered tasted like it was a specialty. Their sauces are quite tasty... some of them original recipes. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I am a frequent flyer at ziggy's and always enjoy my time there. However, while I was having a quick late night meal I witnessed one of the employees, John, deal with a less than ideal situation when a kid puked on a high top which required his cleaning. His attitude towards the entire event was commendable to say the least. He had a smile on his face and quickly made sure the parents knew it was okay. As a former hospitality professional I think recognition of events such as this is extremely important and I think this man deserves praise for his attitude and handling of this situation. read more

To leave words unspoken about my Ziggy's experience would be a sin. Me and my grand niece took a trip to this magical place to get some pizza pizza. We walked into a cozy yet upscale restaurant, greeted by a beautiful hall with two paths. To the right, a seating arrangement, mostly empty. The left, a counter and kitchen full of smiling faces, as well as more seating, occupied by happy families. I walked up to a darling young woman at the cash register, and asked her for a moment to examine the menu. I ordered the Big Mac Pizza in a size small, where she jokingly exclaimed "One Small Mac!" My grand niece smirked, and I chuckled over the delightful banter. She earned that $5 tip I left right in her cup. The child ordered the Ziggy Sticks, and we also ordered some Buns & Oil for my husband. He always tells me how much he loves my buns with oil, so I decided to surprise him with some of Ziggy's! The food was fairly priced, and after a couple of minutes or so, the fresh pie and sticks were served. My husband's Buns & Oil came in a box, just how we wanted them. He loves my box and buns, but he told me that he might like Ziggy's more! (I felt a bit jealous of you, Ziggy. My husband orders your food more than he eats mine, and sometimes it feels like he doesn't like my buns and oil anymore.) Felt more like a cafe than a pizza place. Clean and refinished but lacking in character. They had a good variety of food options but I'm guessing a lot of it was pre made and heated up in the back. I would have preferred a more limited menu with quality food. I ended up getting the chicken parm. It was fine. It did the job but I probably wouldn't get it again. I was also disappointed they didn't have more non-beer drink options. They had wine and cider on the menu but neither was available, so I got a Powerade. Yum. read more

That wasn't pizza, that was a disgrace. It was bland, unseasoned and greasy. I ordered a Philly steak and cheese pizza and it had four pieces of meat on it. Was that pesto on there? Why? Who does that? I know it was Lebanon so I'm assuming there were drugs involved with that decision. I'm glad our waitress felt comfortable enough in her skin to wear daisy dukes.....why? Came here after a long day of snowboarding and it hit the spot. The pizza was amazing and it quickly became our staple spot. All snowboarding season we ended our days here. I will say a few times the staff were visibly upset about us coming in, though we were there over an hour before closing. Awesome customer service! the cashier engaged while I waited and updated me on my order. So impressed!

Went in to get our order that took over an hour. Food was cold by the time we got it. Had the employees staring at me like they've never seen a person of color before and to top it off I got a dirty look from one of the girls behind the counter. It was very uncomfortable and we had to wait in the car versus waiting in the restaurant. The wait time is ridiculous and the staff needs to work on their customer service skills. Amazing pizza place! Was coming into Sunapee late at night and it was the only pizza spot open. Right as we walked in they greeted us with kindness, and explained everything they had to offer, since it was our first time. The servers guided us thru the menu with ease. The seating area was also very spacious, with plenty of seats to dine. Would recommend anyone coming thru Sunapee to stop by Ziggy's Pizza! read more

Flew into Manchester, NH and asked the car rental girl for recommendations. Told her what area we were going to be and she said we have to eat at Ziggys. Went a bit out of our way but the views we worth it. Boy oh boy the food was worth it too! I regretfully didn't take any pictures but I promise you it won't disappoint. They have where you can buy by the slice or you can sit and order. Do it all at the counter though. We got a large pizza and a salad which fed 4 of us with left overs (which were even better the next day)! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would return if in the area again. read more

We're staying close by for a month and have gotten pizza twice. The pizza is tasty but both times we've gotten the dough was undercooked. We also asked for extra cheese and if that's extra I'd hate to see what a normal pizza looks like! Also, pretty pricey at $20+ for a medium. The staff isn't very friendly either. read more

I stopped on the way home from a trip for take out last night. Had no food in the house so ordered two entrees one for dinner and one for lunch today. I ordered the meatball parmigiana. Had to call the restaurant as there were only crumbles of meat and no meatballs to be found. Yes that's the way they serve it. I've had this at other locations and this was not the case. I just opened up the Black and Blue salad. More crumbled meat no shaved steak as advertised on the menu. Me thinks this location is cheaping out and not producing what is advertised. Yuk. The pizza was good but I'm not giving 5 stars because if the SERVICE. Omg, it was a Sunday and the day of the Sunapee craft fair so you could have anticipated a crowd. Ordering was chaotic and twice food was delivered to our table that wasn't ours. In addition, food came out completely out of order (apps and salad last, a good 10 min after pizza). 3 stars because the pizza is good; but something ALWAYS goes wrong with the order. Most recently the hostess told me I was here "a bit early" to pick up my order. I showed her my online order that said to pick it up at 16:21.... it was 16:20. She unapologetically just says, "Oh. It shouldn't have said that." No apology... no offer to make it better. Just "it'll be ready in 10-15" Again- has this been the first time... whatever. But it's not. And they do nothing. read more

Not many food choices in this part of New Hampshire!! Ziggys is the new kid on the block....and appears to be off to a decent start. Very rustic log cabin look from the outside..inside is modern and attractive. To right is the pub and some high top tables...to the left is the more casual restaurant.Wife and I ventured in for a mid week lunch. I had a maple infused Manhattan...very tasty but a little light on the bourbon. Wife had a nice sized pinot grigio. I had a recommended classic cheesesteak..loaded with tasty meat..above average. Wife had the applewood BLT...loved the bread and the crispy smoked bacon. Our server was nice enough..no complaints. Hope Ziggys has better luck than the last two places that occupied this space. read more
