When you are purchasing groceries which have no barcodes or price tags on in this market, please make sure the cashier won't charge you the wrong price (not the lowest but the most expensive one), especially when there are multiple items have similar looking - even the senior clerk/cashier could make a mistake. Comments: The cashier should ask the customer for more information on that particular item instead of simply charging the most expensive price........

Finally found this viral ice cream. Yummy!

This market has good quality fresh seafood. Actually found the Dynasty Wonton Soup both mix that I can no longer find in other Asian market. Lots of soup mixes; 3 aisles of Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and Filipino kinds. The most I've seen at an Asian market. They also have snacks I haven't encountered before. Actually found the viral Mango shaped Ice Cream. It was about $10 for a pack of 3. It was worth it. I wish they had a fish fry station, though. Also, they fish dept was a bit more smelly than other markets. Reasonable priced. Staff were nice. Plenty of parking.

Putting a new tag over the old one.

I recently purchased gizzards and two chickens from this store, only to discover that one of the chickens was past its expiration along with the gizzards. They both smelled horrible. As shown in the picture, they simply placed a new label over the old one to hide the fact. After spending thousands of dollars here over time, this is unacceptable. If products are expired, they should be discarded not repackaged and sold. I don't understand why any business would risk losing loyal customers by selling spoiled meat. Because of this, I will no longer be supporting this establishment.

This is a nice, clean and new Vietnamese grocery store. They carry a wider variety of Vietnamese products than Ranch 99. I was able to find frozen lemongrass, a variety of eggroll wrappers, sweets, boba products, a variety of packaged flours to make Vietnamese appetizers. Plenty of parking, close to freeway.

The hype has died down from this new Asian market. It depends on what you are looking for and the freshness of the produce, fruits, meats, seafood, etc. you could find some good deals.

Very clean, very quite, organized and enjoyable to shop at. Prices are very great and vegetables are good quality. The cashiers are quick and the store has everything I need. I would highly recommend this place.

An asian market with lots of vegan options I came in to pick up a few appetizers for a lunar new year party and left with a bunch of vegan proteins. All sorts of soy and bean curd items. Ribeye bites, mock crab, fish, chicken, etc. Good produce assortment. Household products. I saw some reviews saying lines where packed and took awhile to get through. And the parking lot was crazy packed when I went, but they had every cashier open and actual line was quick. Definitely will be a new frequent place.

This place was opened about a month ago. I came the day after grand opening and I walked out due to the crowds. I came back the second time and they are still trying to work out their kinks. Many shelves with products are not labeled without prices yet. The seafood area has minimal products except live crabs. There was a long line to get crabs and the crab prices was $3.69/lb which is unbeatable at this time. I have not seen such low prices. I came here because I went to another market and they had very small size crabs. So I came here and I scored! I didn't know the crab price was $3.69 at first! I got two crabs about $15 total. They were a little short from 2lbs each. I asked them for double bags at the cashier for the crabs due to water leaking from the current bag. They will charge for bag fees. The isles were wide enough that carts won't bump into each. Shelves were well stocks mostly except for the isles far to the right which was blocked off. Produce isles were full of people so I didn't try to go close. I got a pack of this G7 instant coffee which was cheaper than Costco but different brand. They taste similar but less sugar I think Prices in this place seems to be pretty competitive here. Will have to check them out later once the tanks are filled with more seafood Parking was packed since the lot is not big.

Some mold, dark dirty spot and strange smell

I bought a bag of rice fresh noodle "Banh Uot" yesterday. It has a strange smell like paint and mold inside. The vendor should deliver the fresh one to sell, not selling an old food for customer. I live very far away from this store. Otherwise I'll bring the mold food back and ask for refund. Why selling spoil food for customers.

I just found out this new location near my apartment. Their produce is super fresh and fairly priced, I think 99 ranch does way much worse than Dai Thanh. The seafood also looks amazing and not expensive. Try their frozen fried crab, I did that in my air fryer and it was amazing, 1lb only $6.99. I'll definitely come back for their tropical fruit and fresh meat.

The time and I dont want the box of cherries they gave to me. Thats why I refuse to buy because they change other box of cherries
    Tuyet Linh N.

Very bad service today. I came to the market and took 1 box of cherries. It cost around $5 . It is cheap. Yes . When I bring to the counter to pay, the employee said it was over the weight than the other box and bring it out. They look at me like I did cheating to change inside when the box the packed it and still was unopened. That was their fault not to check the weight . They sold by box not by weight. Why dont they check it before bring it out. I dont like because they bring out and change it somewhere else and look at me like Im cheating on it

When my dog died I wanted a mansion and some money to burn. I had to amazon them. They got a chest of gold!

We come often and get a large amount of poke and their quality always meets expectations every time. It's only window ordering (and not a sit down restaurant) so wait times can get a little lengthy with many people coming during lunch breaks and with it just being a popular place. I definitely recommend to order through their website online before you start driving! I always get to skip in front of the pick up line and just pick up my food when I arrive. Their parking lot only has about 7 spots and is almost always full but the spots can open up quick with everyone coming in and out. There's a lot of street parking too. The environment is great here. They also have many snacks and Hawaiian Sun drinks! I would love to try their mochi in the future. Always happy to come and get Santo Market!

Price is pretty steep for something like this. The owner or person taking our order seemed like a confident or very straight forward / strong type personality, which I'm fine with because I naturally have a bit of a strong personality as well so it didn't bother me, although it would've been better if he smiled or something so it doesn't seem like he's coming off like a New Yorker. Just sayin. But I also know that he's simply doing his job so it's nothing personal. Anyhow, the food he talked a good game on it being the best in the Bay Area turned out to be quite mid IMPO. The shrimp was 100% overcooked, the side Mac salad was actually *not* good at all and it sucks because that's something I feel like you can't mess up but it was gross unfortunately, I spat it out even tho I hate wasting food. It just didn't taste freshly made whatsoever. The poke bowl wasn't comparable to Hawaii since he mentioned it's just as good... but honestly I think everyone's taste buds are different because to me, the poke bowl was totally mid, but it could taste really good to someone else and that's certainly OK! Also -- I like salty things esp when I crave for it but this was quite heavy on the salt, which made my experience the way it was. Even though it could've been better, I came with no expectations and just wanted to see what the fuss was about. That said, the only thing that was good was the rice cracker snack we bought and that's it. Glad I still gave this place a try, but personally for me, it's definitely my last visit. Maybe I'll come back at an earlier time to get one of their strawberry mochi but other than that, I think I'll rest my case here.

Everything here is expensive -- even the air feels like it has a service fee -- but that's just California life. That's why Chaparral Supermarket is such a gem. What really impressed me is their vast selection of Colombian foods and treats. As a Colombian myself, finding familiar products from home while living away from home truly means a lot. From snacks to staples, they carry items that are hard to find elsewhere in the area, and it instantly made me feel a little more grounded as a newcomer to the state. Yes, prices are higher than what I was used to back in Miami -- but for Northern California, it's expected, and honestly, worth it for the selection and convenience. You can't really complain when you're getting a taste of home in a place where that's not always easy to find. If you're Colombian, Latin American, or just someone who loves exploring authentic international foods beyond the usual options, this place is 100% worth a visit.
