I was surprised by the positive reviews for this place, because our experience was deeply concerning. We suspected our clothes were not actually being washed - items came back smelling like fabric softener but not clean, and clothes with stain remover on them still had the stain remover residue, which came right off when we washed them ourselves. So we tested it. On a second visit, we deliberately added stain remover to three items in a large load before drop-off. None of the stain remover had been washed off when we got the clothes back - stain remover dissolves immediately on contact with water, so if these items had been through a wash cycle, it would have come off. It did not. The clothes just smelled like fabric softener, masking the fact they had not been cleaned at all. To make matters worse, we had left quarters at the bottom of our bag from a previous trip - they were gone when we got our clothes back. To their credit, they did wash our undergarments properly. But we cannot recommend this laundromat for a full-service wash. If you need clean clothes, find a self-service laundromat - we found a great one in Chinatown. read more

It's a drop-off laundry with both wash-and-fold and dry-cleaning options. If you drop your clothes off early in the morning, you can usually pick them up clean by the end of the day. Dry cleaning is also impressively quick--about 3-4 days, depending on when you drop it off, since they have specific days when they send items out. After a mess of an AirBnB location, one of the reasons we chose the place was the in-unit washer and dryer, we chose a wonderful hotel in the area. However, we could not afford to pay for the hotel-based clothes washing. Instead we went out and found this awesome local wash-and-fold. Everything is always folded perfectly and I've never lost any items. My clothes always come smelling nice and fresh, and they're always happy to separate my whites/bedding if I asked. This place is extremely convenient less than a 3 minute walk from the biggest shopping area in nyc! We had a flight scheduled for today at 9pm and needed our laundry done within two hours of dropping off. The kind ladies were able to finish about 13 pounds of our laundry for 16€ and within an hour and a half of our drop off time! Definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm in nyc. read more

A friendly, reliable laundromat that allows you to lower your New Yorker skepticism just a bit. I've been a regular customer from Dec 2016 to the time of this review and find the washes a bit expensive but the machines well-built, the environment unstuffy and the owners incredibly kind. Currently it is $3.25 for a wash cycle and $0.25 for 7 minutes in the dryer. The dryers are powerful and the machines top notch. As a customer, I also feel taken care of by the owners, who will lend me coins when I'm missing my roll and watch my stuff if I need to step out for two seconds. Daily Bubble is Chinese owned and English will get you by just fine, but if you can get your Mandarin or Cantonese on trust that your relationship with these folks will go next level. I'm in town to drop off my son for college, and we have been on a long road trip from California to get here. I did a simple Google search to find a wash and fold laundry near my hotel in SoHo and this one was the closest. I wheeled a rolling suitcase and carried a duffle bag .7 miles to get there, and while I felt weird, they didn't make me feel that way. They washed and folded all of our clothes that day (in by 10:00am - done by 3:00pm), and put them back in the suitcase and duffel bag. Everything was great when I got back to the hotel, and I couldn't be happier with their service. read more
