Nestled between Tempting faces Eyebrow bar and Buka Wine Bar, Daily edition is a simple, cozy, specialty coffee bar that is serious about their brews. There's a minimalist vibe which allows the coffee itself to shine. I generally drink just black coffee, but today I was intrigued by their fall flavors. I opted for the Maple and Black Salt and after talking with the barista, I was able to enjoy this drink with half sweetness and it was perfect. The Black salt on top really balanced out the acidity of the coffee which I loved. Even though there are only two two tops inside, there is additional outdoor seating in the complex where you can enjoy your brew if you're with a larger crew. I'll definitely be coming back for the excellent coffee.

We are on a road trip from Wichita KS to Florida and wanted a cup of coffee somewhere near Birmingham. Found this gem on Google and from the photos had to stop in. Not only is this shop cute, but the coffee is actually very good. If you're a coffee connoisseur, then you know good coffee vs any cup of Joe. The shop owner and their story is very warming. I love how small this shop is. Feels very intimate. It's very unique. I got a cappuccino and I could have drank 5 more! My daughter got a chocolate croissant. (Which we helped her devour haha) Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. Couldn't recommend this coffee shop more. (There is no WiFi here just a heads up if you wanted to work I'd use your hot spot, or put the computer and devices down and just enjoy some coffee and the vibe of the shop)

One of the best lattes I've ever had!! Their pastries are also amazing and I always get the ham and cheese croissant, definitely a solid 9/10. The place itself is small with limited seating, but they do have some outdoor chairs if you prefer sitting outside on the far side. I also love that they're open on Sundays, which is such a plus

Another competitor entering the Crumbl, Chip, Cookie Fix, etc. cookie market…read more Today we picked up: Crunch Nugget (Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie) Purple Haze (Purple Velvet Cake Cookie) Good Luv (Red Velvet Cake Cookie) My wife wanted to compare the two velvet flavors side by side. One thing worth mentioning was the customer service. We both had a welcome reward for signing up for the club that included a free cookie. I had trouble locating my reward in the app, but the employee went ahead and issued a credit before I was able to find it. I eventually located it afterward. Warm, friendly service and everything was explained well without feeling rushed. Now for the cookies. The biggest disappointment for me was the Crunch Nugget. A chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie sounds almost impossible to mess up, but this one somehow fell flat. The flavor just felt below average overall and didn't really deliver on either the chocolate chip or peanut butter side the way I expected. My wife preferred the Purple Haze over the Good Luv red velvet cookie. She said the Purple Haze was sweeter and more moist, while the red velvet cookie was a little drier by comparison. Overall, she still prefers Cookie Fix and Crumbl over Cookie Plug. The cookies definitely fit the oversized premium cookie trend. Thick cookies that are somewhere between a brownie, cake, and traditional cookie. Service was strong. Cookies were decent. But as of now, this probably would not become our go-to spot in this category.

The snickerdoodle was inedible and the red velvet had such a weird, unpleasant taste that was not reminiscent of red velvet, so I threw it away. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was OK but nothing ro write home about. Now the Oh Snap cookie, which is an oatmeal apple pie was quite delicious and was the softest of the four. With such a saturated cookie market, I think cookie plug really has some work to do to compete in my opinion.

My friends got the ham and cheese croissants, which looked incredible. I got several different things to try, intending to share, but brought them all home on a rainy day and they never made it back out of the house. The olive oil cake was scrumptious. Light, pleasantly sweet. Almost a pound cake texture, not that weird polenta-y thing. The oat morning bar also had an incredible flavor. The jam was tart and the oats were sweet with a little salty finish. Fantastic with some coffee. There was a line out the door when we got here. No seating inside. It all moved very quickly. I can see why everyone says these are the best pastries in Alabama...

Lemon Bar, Olive Oil Cake, Chocolate Croissant, Miso Blondie and Brownie were what was left and most of them it was only one left. I selected the brownie it was a peanut butter spread on top and was actually really good and large enough to share with multiple people. The staff was nice and moved quickly when making the ordering process seamless. The space for guest is not very big so you do have to either sit outside or take it with you, it's a decent amount of the outdoor seating and also a coffee shop next door. In future I would hope to be able to get there earlier so I can try more of their offerings.

My friends also said the Expresso Martini was way too strong. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The problem we had is that we had a group of 12 on Saturday at 10:30 for brunch. We called on Thursday for reservations which they don't take. They did tell us to have 2 or 2 people come in at 10:00 and they'd work to seat us. They knew we were coming and had a phone number if there was a problem. I received no call. We were provided a table for 8 at 10:30 with 2 two seater tables. This was not ok. The manager did work with us to scoot empty table to our large table so we could all sit together. Water was promptly provided and drink orders taken. Then food orders taken. Food came out before drinks. I know it's hard when there's a large group but I felt it should have been staffed appropriately knowing we were coming. Our group had a good time because we weren't rushed and we got to visit. For people that need to know, there's no handicap parking at all and we needed a spot. Parking is quite challenging so prepare for that.

I am in a women's group that plans various brunch's lunches and dinners in the BIRMINGHAM area. One of the ladies made a reservation weeks ago so they knew that we were going to be at least a party of 12 to 14. It turned out to be about 12 when they got the tables together. There was just one full table of about eight people and then two other tables which weren't close to us so they ended up putting an extra table in so we could all sit together. Since it was a Saturday morning, it was pretty busy. Parking is a bit cumbersome. I pretty much had to make my own spot so that was a bit frustrating. I don't think I saw any handicap spots. I arrive there about 1015. We had to wait 15 minutes to get our table which wasn't too bad. When they came around to take our orders, we gave them our drink order and our food order. Several of us got some alcoholic beverages. I was a bit surprised that we didn't get our drinks until after we got our meals. I chose to get the vanilla French toast which came with spiced peaches, but I did not want that. I wanted strawberries which they told me they were out of. My friend next to me got a breakfast board and lo and behold. She had strawberries on there so I asked again for strawberries and the young man said they didn't have any and then I pointed to her board eventually I got strawberries and was charged five dollars for them, which I wasn't told before hand. I did get the espresso martini, which mostly tasted like vodka. It was very strong and not very tasty. Also, the glass was very small. It looked like they only had two bartenders if that you could definitely tell they were behind. All in all my experience, there was not very good. I don't think I will be back. I had a brunch plan there next month that I decided to change to a different location. Rachael was our server and she did you the best she could. She had no control over the drinks. I also asked for extra napkins, which I did not receive. It seemed like it wasn't very well staffed for a Saturday rush.
