If I could rate this place in the negatives I would. I had the worst experience here. I flew in from Puerto Rico after an extremely long night ( my flight was at 1am and landed at 5am) and hadn't eaten in hours so I walked to the closest place that was serving breakfast. Because I hadn't eaten in hours, the idea of eating was a turn off, and as I scrolled through the menu, one thing caught my eye that seemed bearable to eat--the ricotta pancakes served with lemon curd. I ordered and waited for my food, but when the plate hit the table, there was no lemon curd. I asked my server if it came with any and she looked at me and said "no it doesn't." I didn't make a big deal about it because I figured maybe I missed a note saying it's no longer served with that, so I wanted to make sure, however when I checked, it clearly stated it comes with lemon curd. So I walked into the restaurant to ask another server who said "hold on let me check." ( why he doesn't know the menu, idk, but I thought that was odd) He never got back with me and I watched him talk to coworkers behind the bar. Upon my servers check in with me on how my food was I informed her that the menu stated it came with lemon curd and she proceeded to say "well we don't have any AND you already asked me that and I told you no." Extremely RUDE! Those are two different things, "no it doesn't come with any" and "no we don't have any." I ordered the pancakes strictly because it came with lemon curd and when I told her I didn't really want them without it she asked rudely do I want something else. I checked the menu again but I just couldn't fathom eating anything else so I told her I'd keep them and later when I asked to speak with a manager, there was supposedly no manager on duty. I figured I'd call to discuss the situation later rather than causing a scene yet there's no number to be found online. Money completely wasted. I ate maybe a few bites of the pancakes that were absolutely dry. I'd recommend adding the lemon curd to soften them up if they ever get any! Also I payed extra for mixed berries and got like 7 blueberries. As a someone who works in the service industry, I've never been so disappointed! read more

This place reeked of raw onion because they had the prep cart sitting in the dining area. I don't care for onions (particularly smelling them at breakfast) so that kind of ruined my appetite. The manager (?) arrived and made them move it. But then knowing that they weren't supposed to have it there made me wonder what other "rules" were being overlooked because they were busy or just didn't care. It was also kind of unprofessional how she was reprimanding people aloud to do things. My French toast had peanuts and some other kind of nuts. Seemed out of place like they were trying to make up for not having macadamia nuts. The French toast was mediocre and bland. It tasted better without the nuts (once it was doused with ample syrup to make up for the lack of flavor). Bacon wasn't very good. Was crispy and cooked right but tasted like it was made in a dirty or oil charred pan. Server was nice and fast about bringing items ordered. A few place settings at my table were missing forks but I just grabbed from the table next to me. Which speaking of, the tables and booths weren't very clean. The iPads replace the human experience but are pretty straight forward to use. Just seems weird to have this when you're eating. The restaurant should provide hand wipes if they're forcing the customers to use this (which yes, you are forced to do this*). This place was far from immaculately clean and I didn't see anyone wiping down the screens (but c'mon, people are eating bacon with their hands and syrup-covered breakfasts, and airports are busy, dirty places). I personally find it annoying to have tech in your face since sitting down to eat used to be one of the few times that you can get away from it. *A gentleman came in asked for a danish and asked if he had to use the iPad for such a simple request. The server was very nice but gently showed him that how to use it and basically said that's how it is. read more

First off, I love to enjoy food. After an hour of hopeless reading on Yelp and walking all 3 wings to Terminal C, I decided to give Daily a try because I was boarding a 14 hour flight. I ordered the Lobster pasta dish and a Bacon Cheeseburger and both were very delicious . The pasta dish uses a hollow spaghetti type of pasta which I never had and it was very good along with the cherry tomatoes and generous portion of Lobster meat. Caught my attention due to various vegetable-laden dishes, but looks can be deceiving. Was probably one of the least healthy options in the airport. The Sea Scallops dish was served in a literal pool of butter. Like butter soup. The squash dish was also much too heavy on cream and butter. Felt sick to stomach for the next 12 hours. Had to shoo away flies from my table which was near the kitchen. Also very expensive even for EWR standards. read more

Had some time to kill before our flight to San Fran so we stopped into this new(ish) place in Terminal C. Surprisingly good. Call me a curmudgeon but I simply don't understand the whole iPad ordering thing. In the time it took us to negotiate an order for three with a modification or two taken note of by a friendly server helping us, that friendly server could have absorbed our order in thirty seconds, generated a ticket and the line cooks probably could have made one of the meals. What mental giant thought this was a good idea? Death of customer service in favor of perceived speed in ordering. Feh... But I digress... the meal was excellent. I had an egg dish with chilies, and some nice roasted potatoes. My wife had a tasty sandwich with egg white and smoked salmon and our son who wasn't very hungry had some bacon and potatoes. Breakfast of champions. Friendly service. Food came out fresh and hot. No complaints other than the aforementioned iPad ordering system. read more

What a complete dumpster fire. Fries were room temperature, burgers were cooked well but had no condiments on them or served with them. Service was rude and as much as I like to talk like a pirate myself in private, I don't expect or appreciate staff using the f-bomb right in front of me at speaking volume trash talking another customer. Totally unprofessional. Overstaffed which seems to give staff plenty of time to chat amongst themselves and ignore customers. Don't waste your time with this place. read more

Not very happy with my experience. Waitress kept trying to push the wrong beer on me despite me telling her I ordered something different. Thankfully they have the digital iPad ordering to prove I ordered an ipa and not the sour. Then she tried saying it was the same brewery so it's the same beer. When we finally agreed that they were two different beers the rest of the meal ok. We order apps and nothing was special and one of the apps was missing ingredients. I stopped here with my 2 teenage sons. I paid $24 for a double Tito's and soda that had flat soda. We ordered a Caesar salad that was $18. It came on a side plate that that was burning hot, straight out of the dishwasher. Our bill was $137 for food and drinks that were not even mediocre. Arrived with cheese melted and impossible to remove from the pork. No time to a wait another. The bun it was served on was hard as a rock. I had a bit of a layover, so settled on a leisurely lunch at Daily. The fish entree was a substantial piece of real fish with some real flavor. The potato puree under was fine, though the zucchini in tomato sauce was a little flat-tasting. All in all, a reasonable meal. The prices are a bit stiff, but you get 20% with a United credit card, and can pay with United miles. A special shout-out for the servers, who were super friendly and just right -- not hovering, but aware. The kitchen was pretty slow on my entree, though... keep that in mind if you're in a hurry. read more

So I sat down for a quick bite, since I had my bad with me, I took the only table that was available added food and drink to my order on ipad and about to swipe the card and this waiter with glasses comes up and tells me to get up as he wanted that table for a party of 4. So, I had to leave my order there and sit with a stranger on a different table. Turns out the Ipad on that table is not working. So this waiter who has already annoyed me enough, asks me for my credit card and order places it on someone's else's ipad. During this time, the table from which he made me get up still sits empty and there is no party of 4 anywhere. Not only that, a single white guy comes strolling in, sits at that table of 4 for a good 15 minutes, does not order anything and was never asked to switch table. I can only imagine that this waiter was racist. Now, the food. It took a good 30 minute for a simple order to come out and this waiter does not even look at me for all this time. After all this time, my flight had already started boarding, so without finishing my food properly, I get up to close the tab and when I check on that Ipad where he placed my order, it is nowhere to be found. This guy had already paid himself a tip and closed the tab. Perfect! I would like to figure out a way to contact this 'restaurant' because they don't have a phone number or email so I can get my money back. read more

The cooks had no clue what they were cooking until I asked him where my sandwich was. 2 other people were also furious because they were going to miss their flight. After 45 minutes, my food never came. I asked the server TWICE during the waiting period. She's informed me that my food "would come out shortly". When I click the iPad for "my check", it showed that my order disappeared! I don't know how it happened despite the system recognized me as a United Chase Credit Card holder and I even paid with the United credit card! The whole restaurant couldn't figure it out what happen to my order and then the manager was called. She was very nice and kind (hence, I'm giving this 2 stars). She apologized for the system error and got me the to-go meal complimentary. By the time I got my food to go, I spent 1 hour sat there with a glass of water which was never refilled. read more
