I'm a huge hotdog lover, so anytime I spot a place serving them, I have to try it. While walking down Ocean Dr., I came across Daiquiri Dogs, and wow I'm glad I did. I'm especially picky about Chicago Dogs, and theirs instantly became one of my favorites. They use a 10" Nathan's dog on an 8" brioche bun, and while a traditional Chicago Dog comes on a poppy seed bun, Daiquiri Dogs adds the poppy seeds into the celery salt instead and honestly, I think it's even better than the classic version. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, and the neon relish (locally made!) is spot on. The hotdog itself is cooked to perfection. We also tried the Pittsburgh Dog, which uses the same Nathan's dog and brioche bun but is topped with coleslaw, tomatoes, and French fries. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the combination was incredibly tasty. If you're in the area, this place is an absolute must-try. I'm already planning to sneak back to sample a few more. I even met the owner super humble and clearly passionate about hotdogs and great food. Highly recommend!

Had to stop at this funny-named place. We ended up here during happy hour so we got a few cheap beers in addition to our daiquiri. They had a fun menu of different drinks and I ordered the banana split drink. It was tasty! We loved sitting on their perfectly located patio and people watching.

The drinks here were great. Very close and convenient location on ocean drive. I'll definitely be back here while in the area.

Me and my friend came to try daiquiri dogs for the first time. First off from the walk in the music was great and loud which is how we like it. We came to get a frozen drink and we ended up having such a great time. Jojo was so amazing, honest and funny. He allowed us to play some music too and dance . He was very friendly and welcoming the whole time. We stayed for at least two hours . When ever you go ask for Jojo say Moon sent you

The humongous hotdogs are very flavorful. Love the crispy onion rings as well. There is a large selection of beer and daiquiri flavors

Instead, I stumbled upon Koana Tiki Bar--a hidden little chamber of tropical enchantment tucked away from the ordinary world. As Miami's only tiki bar, Koana is surprisingly well themed. It is a smaller establishment, which explains why reservations are required, but the intimate setting only adds to the charm. Once inside, the outside world seems to disappear beneath warm lighting, exotic décor, and the unmistakable feeling that something mysterious is being prepared behind the bar. The food is available, but Koana truly shines through its drink menu. The team has clearly done its research and assembled some serious heavy hitters. My companions and I visit whenever we're in Miami, and we've sampled nearly every drink on the menu. I have yet to encounter a bad one. They are fairly priced for Miami, though their strength should not be underestimated. These are not casual refreshments--they are potent little potions disguised as tropical cocktails. The staff is always kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. They're happy to explain the drinks and guide you toward something that suits your taste, whether you seek something sweet, sour, smoky, fruity, or powerful enough to summon your ancestors. During my visit, I combined several ingredients from the menu into a highly experimental concoction. After one sip, my allergies vanished completely. After the second, I could smell colors. By the third, I was convinced the palm trees were speaking to me in ancient tongues. I have no idea what was in that drink, but my sinuses were clear, my spirit was elevated, and I briefly achieved enlightenment beneath a decorative tiki mask. Reservations are essential, the drinks are strong, and the bar is small--but Koana is absolutely worth seeking out. Just be certain you're prepared for whatever spirits may answer when you raise your glass.

Guess the insight here is Kaona draws folks who so totally want to be there and participate in the nightly celebrations that it becomes contagious, spreading from table to table with smiles, laughter, and cameras. Oh yeah, and did I mention the cocktails? I feel the term 'artisan' is so overused nowadays that I avoid using it, so can we just go with the Bill & Ted description that Kaona's tiki drinks are "Most Excellent!" Will non Gen-Xers get that last reference???

The staff here was also very welcoming and friendly. I tried their Mamey Swizzle and instantly fell in love. It came with rum, Mezcal, mamey-ginger puree and Jamaican bitters. We had mojitos during our dinner and some more mojitos at another bar that I didn't have that great of a vibe. So it's fair to say we had enough alcohol to call it a night, but this Mamey swizzle was so delicious I had to order another one. We'll be in Miami later this month and you can bet your ass that I'll be returning for some more of their Mamey swizzle.

We were seated in the main bar area and both ordered a beverage. I got the Amazonia, a gin based drink with agave lavender and lemon juice with a macha rim. Caleb got the El Presidente, which is a rum based drink with orange liqueur, vermouth, and pomegranate. The drinks were really good, and as expected in a place like this, a bit on the expensive side, but at Swizzle you have a mixologist preparing your cocktails, which always heightens the quality! It was nice to find an intimate place in Miami Beach to kick back enjoy a cocktail and just have some nice conversation, and some people watching with each other. We didn't make a reservation and likely just hit the timing right, so we got in right away and had a great spot. Lentz_explore

I ordered the rock shrimp - five small grilled shrimp (about 3 cm long), served in their shells. They came cut in half with a tasty sauce, but without any side dish, for $30. It gives me cucumber water at the spa vibes but in a cocktail form. -Always Summer Negroni: I absolutely loved this drink! My favorite one of the night. So cool because it's a clear drink. Really nicely balanced cocktail, not too bitter. -La Bamba Colada: Tastes like a piña colada! But not overly sweet. No dairy for my fellow lactose intolerant friends (just coconut milk). At some point we also ordered a salad, the Shaker Salad with mahi mahi - I liked it! Friendly bartender and staff and overall great place to stop in and grab a drink! They have pretty reasonable prices too.

When I came last weekend the vibes were great, it was just extremely packed to the point that everyone was grinding up against each other. Which in that moment I didn't care because I figured it's at capacity and that's normal. Although, I realized when I was leaving the bar that someone had opened my purse and taken my entire wallet. I was bummed because I couldn't continue partying up the night. This led me to message them on Instagram, which was great because they told me to come in and drinks would be on them for the inconvenience. We got to the bar and I spoke with the bouncer and he said to go to the bartenders, that they would direct me to Rensel the bar manager. He was absolutely lovely, provided my friends and I a round of cocktails and told us to look for Sophia for another round. We didn't end up getting another round because we were exhausted from dancing the night away. It was still very nice and accommodating that they did that and we appreciated it. Sophia was very bubbly and attentive as well. Overall, if you are looking for a bar with a disco ball!! This is a cool spot to come to, they have so many different specialty cocktails. They are all delicious and unique! The music is great, the dj really keeps the crowd moving. For parking, there is a lot in the back of the establishment or street parking as well.
