While our fries initially came out a little too salty for our taste, the manager, Chance, handled the situation perfectly. He quickly brought us a fresh batch and really turned our experience around. I never have any problems at this location but I was super sad. I wanted my chicken sandwich plain because I'm not a sauce person. They repeated my order back to my each window, so I assumed they had it correct. I'm not a sauce person and there was sauce on both buns, so I couldn't eat my meal. I was super disappointed and I didn't want to go back out since I live further away. I will just need to double check the next time I go. read more

Went here via drive through as we were heading out of town for a day trip and were with a doggo. Ordered two of the 3 piece boxes, and when we went to pick up our order, the attendant was kind enough to provide a dog treat! That was nice :) We parked to eat outside and truly enjoyed the food! I ordered a 3 piece chicken tenders meal and when we arrived home we were ready to eat and as we opened our meals we were so disappointed!first the fries were very few on both of our meals as if they were having us share the fries between our 2 meals. My husband ordered the sandwich meal . My chicken tenders were so small, we actually laughed and were not surprised. We will not be going back . Canes fingers always hot, fresh and great. Why is this location 5 stars. Great friendly staff, restaurant always clean and well maintained. Usually stop in here every few months when making my rounds in Boerne and wanted to recognize the great staff. When I was writing this review one of the staff came up and cleared my place for me. When do you see that in a fast food place any more? My wife even loves this place and she doesn't typically even enjoy chicken fingers but she loves Canes and especially this location. This Cane's was a welcome sight on our trip back from W. Texas. My entire family was pumped once this place appeared on our Yelp horizon. Their service, their chicken, etc. - was spot on. What can I say about the food that people do not already know. My opinion is that the food at the Boerne, Texas is always hot and fresh. My main reason for this review is this. I don't visit many of Cane's other locations but I can tell you that this location is awesome. I can't express enough that The staff here is extremely friendly and the service is absolutely top notch. I was the tenth car in line and I had my food and was on my way in 5 minutes or less. I think I know what's going on with Cane's, and this location is no exception. As chicken prices have gone up, Canes has downsized the size of their tenders and sides to keep the same pricepoint. It's called "shrinkflation" and lots of companies are doing it. It's deceptive. Not only was a recent order microscopic in size (tenders couldn't have been more than an ounce cooked each) with a smattering of cold, undercooked fries that looked like about half of the usual amount, and toast that was lacking any flavor. They also forgot my Coleslaw. You know what Cane's? I want the meal I'm used to even if it costs more! I feel cheated. Keep it up and it will be a LONG time before I return. read more

We were there for the grand opening. It was pretty laid back for a grand opening It was 10am you purchase a meal and receive a free t-shirt and a card for a combo at a later date. That was it. Ho hum. Food: It was the regular canes menu fresh and hot. The sauce is always good, fries hot and crisp and the bread melt in your mouth. If only they had Dr pepper and it would have been perfect. When we first begin going to Canes, we were really happy with food. The chicken was fresh and juicy and the portions relatively large. But things have changed. Each time since the portions have gotten smaller and smaller. Last week the pieces were the size of my thumb, and my thumb is not that large. We have not been to other locations, so I do not know if this is a general issue or not. However, I am sure they get the chick from a general distributor. No more visits for us. read more

The employees at this location are cheerful, prompt, & accurate with orders. I usually order my chicken "naked" (without breading) and they always prepare it hot and fresh. Best place in town for chicken. Never have had any problems with our drive thru orders . Food is always hot and fresh and you always go home with exactly what you ordered and paid for, unlike most other drive thru restaurants in the area.
