    Daughter's Oreo Blizzard 6.19.22
    Donna T.

6.19.22 We went through the drive-thru for blizzards for Father's Day. (Did not realize they only had 1.5 stars before.) They were very busy. The drive thru line was long and moved slow. I have never been to this location before so I don't know if this is because it is H O T in Texas and everyone is looking for ways to cool off or if they are always like this. I will say the customer service was LACKING. The gentlemen who was working the drive thru was not pleasant even borderline rude. (If you find your job to be this unpleasant then maybe you should look for another one...food for thought...) We ordered 3 blizzards and they all were very good. We all enjoyed them. The 3 stars are for the blizzards, minus 1 star for the customer service and minus 1 because it does need some TLC on the outside. (We did not go in so I can not comment on that) Return....maybe

Delicious treats for both mom and doggie boy! He gets excited as we are ordering because he knows that's where you get pup cups!

Mini Chocolate Extreme blizzard & Mini Oreo blizzard-- perfect personal size!

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews for this location, every experience I've had here has been great and very pleasant! We arrived around 9 pm about an hour before closing and the employees were all very nice. Download the app to receive a FREE mini blizzard in the DQ Texas app! Highly recommend the Oreo & Choco Extreme!!!!

When was the last time you saw cakes at a DQ?

This was a horrible experience. The staff was extremely rude and we waited 33 minutes for 4 desserts. Will never return.

The drive thru was very busy, but the employees came on the speaker and let us know it would be just a couple minutes.

This is hard to write because we come here when we are in town and have never had a bad experience…read more But today was by far the worst. We sat down we were greeting right away, got waters and ordered. Well then our server came back and said they were not serving lunch but they had a small breakfast menu and a large lunch menu that they were hi h g everyone when being sat. I wanted a BLT which should not be hard to make bc it's just bacon, lettuce and tomato but they should they could t make that, my sister also wanted a chicken sandwich why h they couldn't make either. Well as we were waiting for our food. We saw someone being served a burger and a salad. When we asked about it she then came and said that they could not do chicken or green beans from lunch menu. Maybe they should have a breakfast only menu. People in my party feel like maybe they were being like that bc we were not white. As I walked to bathroom I saw more burgers and fries. Well I asked if I could order a side of fries and our server asked the kitchen and they said they weren't doing lunch. But other people were ordering lunch. Our server was good. It wasn't her fault that the kitchen didn't tell her they were not doing lunch even tho they were making lunch. Just very very disappointed

Nope, this is a swing and a miss for me. I ordered the 10 piece chicken with macaroni and cheese,…read moreand a DP through DoorDash. Disaster ensued. The chicken was very over cooked. I could taste a burnt, old oil aftertaste from it. Every piece of chicken had it. Even peeling off the crust didn't help much in getting rid of the aftertaste. The Mac and cheese had no cheese or sauce whatsoever. They literally just put cooked pasta, no cheese sauce or really even seasoning, in the serving containers I was given. That is why families are still buying Kraft Mac and cheese in the box, people. Even without the box, all I need to make better Mac and cheese is elbow macaroni, whole milk, and cheddar cheese (plus salt and pepper to taste). I would put the pasta and the whole milk into a pot and stir it on a medium heat until the pasta is cooked, then turn the fire off and stir in the cheese a little bit at a time, until it melts all the way. Season with salt and pepper to taste. It's not that hard. The Dr. Pepper I had to opt for (because they were out of sweet tea, and apparently not making anymore because of the shortened Sunday hours) did little to improve the situation. In fact, just made me less upset about it. It seems as the employees cared more about getting their Labor Day off than they did about my experience. I'm a first time customer. Chickens had to die for this. Both of us deserve better. If I get a hankering for fried chicken, I will just go to Brookshire Bros. I know it's better.
