And I'm glad we did. There was plenty for us to split and it came with a bag of chips. So yes, plenty. The Dip was hot and roast beef very tender. Good ajau sauce. Great light lunch. We didn't know their hours but they quit taking orders at 3:00. We walked in at 2:45. Got great service and food fast. Next time I'm gonna get ice cream too.

We then walked over to the main building where there is a store and the observation deck. On the observation deck is where we met Eli. We asked 1 question (of course I don't remember which one that was!) and he was a wealth of information. He explained what each of the lines were producing which vats contained the flavors and pointed out where they load the pints and sherbet cups. No cameras are allowed on the deck. It was truly amazing to see the operation in production. Just a note - it closes at 2, so make sure you plan your time around that. The parking lot was almost full. When we walked in, a sign directed us to seat ourselves but before we could go so, lovely staff greeted us and engaged with us. We chose a cute booth in the back that was made out of recycled bus seats. Also next to us was a wall of honor/history/fun. Don't miss it. It's so fun! Our server was knowledgeable, and engaging. Based on her recommendations we tried the bacon (Yum!!) Biscuits (don't miss!!) ranch potatoes, hash browns & the chicken honey biscuits (wow!!). Portion sizes are large freshly made. They know what they are doing here. The owner was raised in the area, trained at prestigious Le Cordon Bleu and returned back into her roots to open the establishment, worth a day trip to see the bluebonnets and take in a meal. We enjoyed cinnamon - walnut cherry and all were great for 1.00 per cup - large serving in our opinion. They have a fun museum, first delivery truck and some grounds to enjoy on a nice day. Worth a stop if you are by the area.
