I have to say kudo to the front lady who works there. She is always friendly and helpful. I had a dilly bar on my most recent trip there. I haven't had a dilly bar for over couple decades. Worst Dairy Queen around! I ordered a simple order of two chicken strip boxes and all I received was fries! Called back girl finally answered and gave me attitude about my missing food, no apology, no we will make that right for you. All she said was you can bring it back and we will see. A five year old could have done better! Also it was way too long a wait and only to be missing most of my order! This place sucks, I will never go back here, I will drive to Vancouver if I want Dq again! Avoid avoid avoid this place!!! They are rude and incompetent! I am so upset and disappointed by his place! Ice cream lovers be aware! We ordered a chocolate brownie blizzard for our daughter, but it had nuts inside. Unfortunately, our daughter is allergic to peanuts. We went back to the store to inform them of the mistake. Although they did provide us with a dipped ice cream cone as a replacement, they didn't even apologize for their mistake. Their negligence could have been fatal for our daughter. This Dairy Queen branch doesn't even deserve one star!! We will not be returning to this poorly managed business ever again!! read more

This location does not stick to posted hours!! Don't visit this location if you are within 1/2 hr of the posted closing time. They close early a lot! We have arrived 15 min before closing for a blizzard (nothing cooked), and they told us they were closed. Recently, we arrived 5 minutes before closing, all the lights were on, including the drive through, and no one came on the speaker. We called out, no answer, even honked our horn repeatedly. Then they turned the lights out on us, and the several cars behind us. When we drove around, the employees were dancing, eating, and laughing. I honked several times at the window, and when they finally came over, they said they were closed. I told them we had been waiting and honking at the speaker for 5 min., and they said all they could do was to sell us a Dilly Bar. We said no, they shut the window and all started laughing. Family went out Sunday after my nephews basket ball game to Dairy Queen in DT Camas. We had ordered some chicken strips burgers and fries, it was the last thing we had all ate that Sunday. 4am my nephew woke up throwing up, my step dad while he was at work, my sister and niece at noon started throwing up, I started showing flu like symptoms around 4 and then my mother around 11 pm. Both my parents were laid up for three days, my sister and I for 2 (and still feeling some stomach cramping and mildly cold). I had politely called Wednesday afternoon to talk to the manager but was passed around four different times to talk to the "owner". Not asking for a refund or food(not after what happend), I calmly just reassured her that we were sick from their establishment and hope nobody else was either. She blatantly called me a liar, was extremely unprofessional and rude and when I had asked her what her name was she said "non of us got sick, so I don't know what to tell you", politely asked her what her name was again and my response was "oh, never mind" and hung up on me... the owner. I called 5 minutes later to ask for the manager (who now wasn't there) and the owner (who answered the phone denying that she was the owner or manager) and getting some kind of half assed excuse about how they'll check the temps next time. I've been in the service industry for more than 15 years and even though this is a fast food establishment, there is no excuse for that kind of unprofessionalism when someone addresses you with a possible health hazard. Not only was the lack of concern for my family unnerving, her disregard for the community was enough to make me write this review. I wish I would've read the reviews on Google and on this personal Facebook page before I put the family through what they had to go through the last three days. Never in my life would I consider yelping about fast food. But this places needs some recognition, every DQ in the world is overpriced and weird. In fact, I've been to many DQs where the employees are drugged up, the atmosphere is gross and they forget to flip my F'ing blizzard. Not this place though, every time I go here, they never get my order wrong and always make me the best dang blizzard. Staff is nice and they know what the hell they're doing. However, the atmosphere is pretty repulsive, what do you expect though? It is in Camas. Go here if you want your blizzard made right. I went here almost everyday in summer and I don't regret the weight I gained because I know it was for a noble cause. And that cause was to enjoy my F'ing life! Still amazing. I've been here probably 5-6 times and they are consistently great! The drive thru still sucks and the speaker/mic system they have pretty much doesn't even work most of the time. That's my only complaint, really. The burgers are so flavorful and the onion rings are still fresh, crispy and so good! The drive thru is poorly designed, trapping any poor sap that parked in their lot during busy hours. The food is bad, but ice cream is fine. It's the poor service that really ticked me off. One nice girl and two rude ones. Defiantly not the best customer service. They close @ 10pm; on 2 occasions I have pulled up to the drive thru a few minutes before closing only to have them literally turn off the intercom and lights as I pulled up (they could see me on camera)! The only way to describe it the last few months or so is disappointing. They don't even try. They don't even know what's on their own menu! Ask what the featured item is in the drive through and you get the audio equivalent of a blank stare. We have received incomplete or wrong orders, and they can't even make a dipped cone reasonably well. First of all do t make it all crooked. When you are driving through you can't stop along the way if it falls off the cone. (Mine almost did, but I was able to salvage it since it wasn't a true "large" anyway.) Which brings me to the next complaint: don't hand the mom driving the car her cone FIRST! Especially when she specifies that it's for HER. We cannot manage the kids, pass the food back and pay all while we hold our ice cream. Maybe spend more time making it to specifications next time instead of handing some glob of sideways crap hanging to one side. I really should have complained but I was sort of shocked. Not that it would do any good, as the last time I mentioned the food was left out they refused to do anything about it. My mom and I went here today to get ice cream. We wanted ice cream cones in a dish because there's just two of us and we were getting cones for the whole family. Hence the upside down in a dish. We've been going to the Dairy Queen in Camas, WA for many years! Love the staff and the owner too. They treat us like family when we visit. Best of all...I love their Pumpkin Ice Cream during the month of October and a couple weeks of November. A small pumpkin ice cream cone dipped in chocolate...WOW! Kinda scarred from going to this place again. Been going here on and off since I was a kid but the other day was the final straw. I always get the same thing, peanut butter and banana shake. Always same size, medium, but I don't think I have ever laid the same price for it. Sometimes it's $3-$4 sometimes it's almost $8. Strangely when it's almost $8 I don't get a receipt for it even when asked so I'm fairly sure there is some shady things going on there. That's not what super bothered me though. I went in the other day into the store, not drive through, and the lady who made the shake looked fine but was coughing a bit. Whatever. But then she started coughing into the direction of the candy toppings (while making my shake) and coughed right into my shake. I refused to accept it and was denied a refund by her and the person who said they were the manager who I'm not so sure was the manager. Went through the drive thru at probably the slowest time of the day but we were in a rush to get home. No cars in front of us or coming out of the drive thru and two people inside. We ordered a vanilla ice cream chocolate dipped cone and an oreo blizzard with extra oreo. When we went to the window there wasn't any personality which is okay, I understand for the drive thru its hard to come by. What we received: Vanilla ice cream dipped in cherry and an oreo blizzard barely any oreo. I called the manager Donna and she said man we are a bunch of idiots, come on in and we will replace all of it. To which I said no you guys aren't idios, I recant my precious statement. We went in for the replacement... The vanilla ice cream chocolate dipped cone was made with chocolate ice cream chocolate dip. The oreo blizzard rook close to fifteen minutes to make and had peanut butter all over the rim and spoon of it. Seriously. The two easiest things to make and the world's easiest people to satisfy...
