Cute place to hang out! And the fso delicious. We were tired, but happy from shopping downtown Camas. Mai Tai's and Sushi rolls re-energized us!

i have been coming here for years. the service is amazing. The food is immaculate. I get the big kahuna roll and i add real crab i also love their lobster potstickers. the vibe inside is just so calm and i love the ambience. over all one of my top 5 weekly lunch/dinner places!

Tommy O's just became our favorite restaurant in Camas. If you've never visited downtown Camas, please do yourself a favor and add it to your bucket list! It's the most charming cute main street feel, and everyone in the greater Portland metro area should make the trip. Once you do, head straight over to Tommy O's below the Camas Hotel and enjoy flavorful cocktails, sushi, and Hawaiian mains that will make you feel like you're on island time. I've been to over 500 restaurants in Portland, and if this place were in the city, it would be on every Eater list. It's a small place, so make a reso or expect a short wait, and then order everything you can fit on the table. You could make a meal of just sushi, or try a Hawaiian classic. I loved the butterfish but hope to try the mac crusted halibut next time. They also have veg friendly options like the buddha bowl with tofu. It's a charming, homey feel, not a scene. But the food is equally good or better than most of the trendy Portland top spots I've eaten at, and it's so rare to find a Hawaiian cuisine that's not fast casual.

I have similar display above our bed (California King old waterbed).

We're visiting Camas for our 50th Valentine's Day celeb, and while I was checking out more info on Camas, we didn't know what to expect, and lunch we planned to do while there, Tommy O's popped up as one of the best. We went in the Camas Hotel, and inquire about them, and the reception desk told me, it's right next door (outside). It was very cold, and we were warmed up fast, as we entered and seated on an empty table, by a window. (I would rather sit on a corner round table, but sadly, it was reserved! They showed up, when we're about to leave). The dining area was bright and offered street views. The restroom was clean. The clam chowder was some of the best that we've had (shared together). Delicious! There was a generous number of butterflied coconut prawns on hubby's order, along with a mound of white rice and a salad zucchini and tomatoes. Mine was stir fried with (shrimp), and rice. It was so generous a portion, that I was able to eat only half (like many of my restaurant meals). After eating the 7 shrimp, I decided to have for another meal and add egg for my lunch). It tasted better, the 2nd time around. If we weren't so full, we would have stayed around for some appealing desserts! It was an excellent meal served by our friendly and helpful hosts! UPDATE: I ate the stir fried with shrimp twice. I got sick TWICE. It must have been, I'm pretty sure, it was from the shrimp! Minus 2 stars!

Beautiful little restaurant with amazing service. Zen was very attentive and the food was outstanding. Best Hawaiian food I have had outside of Hawaii.

EVERYTHING was INCREDIBLE. I got the butterfish with no rice, extra asparagus and it was literally the best fish of my life. My martini was icy perfection, and my friend's Cesar salad was so good I ordered one to go. HIGHLY recommend!

Lovely. We could see a fountain. There was also a fireplace near us, which was a nice touch. Service was OK. A little bit slow, and in my opinion, the server was not well trained in basic table service. I would expect a bit better in such a nice location with a lovely restaurant. We both had coffee with plenty of cream. We asked what the soup was, the server didn't know if they had soup. A few minutes later, she returned to say they only had clam chowder. Which is exactly what my friend had had there before and wanted. After a long wait, a very nice bowl of clam chowder was served. It was a healthy portion and came with some oyster crackers. Very tasty. I ordered the roasted beef salad. The beats were on top of a bed of totally overdressed spinach for my taste. The beats were nicely roasted, and there were plenty of them. Candied pecans as well. Not a lot of feta. Pickled onions on top. It was OK only I would not order that again. My friend got the Caesar salad, which was very nice. The croutons were light and crunchy. We also had some bread that came with olive oil and vinegar. This item was fine, not great. The clam chowder was $10 for a bowl and it was the best thing that I had. We had to ask for a refill on our coffee, and also to clear some plates away that were finished. We did stay for a very long time. My friend felt relaxed there and was talking to me quite a bit. I do appreciate that we were not rushed out, however, it was not busy. We were never offered dessert. Perhaps we would've enjoyed that. I see myself returning, if my friend would like to.

Headed to one of our usual watering spots but decided on our way that we just weren't feeling it. At the last minute, we popped into Adams Street Bar & Grill. Clean, great football, and other programs on the televisions. We were quickly met with a smile and menus. Drinks were prompt. The gin martini was solid. I know I can be a martini snob but for a small town bar, they rocked it. He had the salad. Loved it, great chicken, huge portion, he was totally happy with his order. I ordered the Gaf Chicken Sandwich, it was excellent. Fries were piping hot and well seasoned. Prices were on-point. Drinks were strong and delicious. All the 5-star reviews hit the mark. This is a place you might miss if you think an old school neon sign is evidence of a broken down place. WRONG! This is a beautiful restaurant that happens to have a gorgeous bar and tons of attractive varnished wooden tables for dining, solid!! NOT a dive at all. Our server was excellent, so friendly! And their chef is talented AND personable as well. I enjoyed bantering with them, fun people!! Food was great! I had an Adams St. BLT with a side salad. The salad was not mixed greens thrown in a bowl, heck no! There was fresh mixed greens but they had company! Like cucumbers sliced bite sized which was genius. I'm stuck of having to gnaw off a huge round all the time. Roasted red peppers, shredded cheese, slices of red onion, excellent balsamic vinaigrette. Sandwich was tastyyyy! Thick slices of tomato, avocado, shredded lettuce (special!) some type of special aioli and crispy bacon. This was hearty!! Bread was dense and thick, toasted to perfection. Hubs had French dip plus bowl of clam chowder. I snagged a bite of his sammie -- tender beef, soft fresh bun and generous amount of au jus! He didn't run out! He said the clam chowder was tasty too. He orders it a lot so he would know. His pale ale was good too. (Okay, I did have a tiny sip!) Prices are reasonable on top of everything. Zero complaints from me! Come here if you just want to relax and enjoy classic pub grub done right. Sometimes that just hits the spot.

My sister and I decided to split it, and the restaurant went above and beyond by plating it on two separate plates for us. The photos show our individual portions--and that's only half each! The mashed potato and veggies were excellent. They topped the steak with couple pickled onion rings which was quite refreshing. And don't forget the garlic infused butter served with the steak. It was wonderful. I had my wedge salad while my husband had their soup of the day. It was a big salad which Ai appreciate. The blue cheese crumbles and salad dressing was fantastic.
