We went in for sandwiches for dinner & the sandwiches we had were delicious. I had the Adam's St. B.L.T & my husband had the Ham & Brie Panni both were great! Fresh & full of flavor. Avoid at all costs. The staff are rude and discriminatory, especially the geriatric white "woman" with an attitude more nasty than an elephant's anal glands. They really need to train their staff to have better customer service skills in the face of disagreement to avoid further conflict. Go to A Beer at a Time, instead! Stopped in here to eat and have a few drinks. It was a weeknight so only a few other customers. The music was a mix of '70's and '80's and it was super nice to hear some songs I hadn't heard in awhile. The tables are set up a little awkward, so even though there were few customers we had to sit in the middle of the room, and would have preferred a little more privacy-but that's not much of an option. The food was ok. I had the BLT and the bacon was on the thinner side, and the sandwich did not have much flavor. I got mine with a side salad and the salad was super yummy. My dinner partner got a burger and stated it was a little dry. His fries were ok-but this was just typical bar food and I would not go there out of my way to eat. My boyfriend suggested this place since I wanted a cool drink and snack, but WOW THIS PLACE IS GOOD! I'm not usually a fan of Cider, but the lemon & basil cider my boyfriend got was delicious. They don't have a cocktail menu, but the bartender suggested a keylime pie cocktail, and it tasted EXACTLY like the pie. Sooo yummy Most of the time, a bar has good drinks and mid food (or vice versa) but we were blown away with both. The fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the BLT I got was a perfect mix of refreshing and filling. I had no expectations for this place since it was a spontaneous visit, but I will for certain be coming back again to play some pool. read more

Down in camas for the pride parade but there was zero food. Gave this place a chance because the re Jews were good. Excellent fries, burger was really good, French dip was good too. This is my third review for my hometown dive bar Adams. This place is on the corner across from the mill. It is typical with bar seating and a couple of tables. Couple of pool tables too! They have a secret though. Their food is so yummy! Seriously. Came here with my two adult children recently. We ordered beers. There is a large selection of craft beers on tap plus several bottles you can choose from.My daughter chose a Long Island iced tea! It was smooth tasting but still had a kick. We had heard that their chili was really good here. It was fantastic! Three meats in there with smoky brisket as one of them. Really good flavors and satisfying. Then came the barbecue wings. Crispy tasty with a tangy barbecue sauce. My son ordered the burger called the Glide. Tillamook cheese,crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion with a really well prepared burger patty. My daughter got a chef salad. It was loaded with deli ham and turkey boiled eggs and really fresh crispy lettuce. For me I decided to try something new. I got the Reuben. Let me tell you something, this was the bomb. I'm picky about my ruebens and this one definitely did me right. Loaded with house smoked pastrami some tasty crispy sauerkraut, melty Swiss cheese with 1000 Island spread on it. Came on marbled rye. It was so delicious I will definitely be back to have that again. Their fries are just regular fries but they are crispy and hot when they come out. Our server today was Wendy. This woman also bartends and makes a wonderful drink. She is an efficient server being attentive and quick. Checking back to see if we need anything including more beers. Our food came out in good time even though there were several other tables in there. The atmosphere is your usual bar. TVs around with sports playing. I am so happy to have this place in my little town of Camas. You can also walk around the town. It's become quite cute with a lot of cool shops & restaurants. There is parking on the street, although they do have a small parking lot. Not kidding I will be back for the Rueben. I usually drive to Portland for it,but now I find this one hits the spot. Whether you drive here intentionally or you are just passing through, I recommend you stop at Adams have a nosh and wet your whistle. read more

We stopped here on the way back from Hood River, opting to take the road less traveled back to Portland. We decided to have breakfast and walk around the cute downtown section of historic Camas. Adam's Street Bar and grill isn't a fancy eatery with a sweet ambiance, but boy do they make a mean breakfast. I am a picky omelet eater so it's alway pretty risky for me to go there. This time I was not disappointed! The mushrooms and onions were perfectly grilled before adding them to the omelet, and the mixture of cheeses combined with those, and served immediately upon completion, made for a wonderful meal. The hash browns were also done to perfection! Crispy on the outside on both sides, and hot, and flavorful and still potato like. They have lots of different hot sauces to pick from as well along with ketchup, I could not have been happier. The English muffin was hot and buttered lightly. Our bartender/server was very sweet and got us excited to come back for specialty barbecue that her brother whips up from time to time. Overall it was a great experience and we'll be back! read more

I've lived in East County for the past 20 years and never stopped here. Although I have driven by countless times. Ordered a Gin Martini, dirty. Absolutely awful. I've been mixing gin martinis for a long time. This one tasted like vermouth and olive juice, no gin taste at all. the bartender/manager said he used no vermouth and poured extra gin... WTF? He argued with me and wouldn't comp.me the drink. Finally ended up with a beer and Less than appetizing tacos. Will NEVER go back. Shame o this establishment and the manager who obviously doesn't care about quality or mediocre service. If you want a fuck off place to get drunk this is the place for you Otherwise, don't WASTE your time or money.. read more

Oh where to start... from the customer service, to the food, to the ambiance. The bar manager was the rudest person I've ever talked to in my life. Yelled at a customer because his ID had a new address sticker over it and kicked him out. My beer was half foam and when I told her about it she said to deal with it and that's how it poured. I ordered a burger and the soup of the day. Feels like the soup was 5 days old. And the burger was greasy and tasted like old oil. The whole time my mood was ruined because of her and it took forever to get the food even though it wasn't that busy. As I was left I forgot my jacket, came back in 10 minutes later to grab it and the employee said someone else took it and they don't have it. Even though the other employee said they have it in the back. After arguing for 5 minutes about a jacket she finally went back and gave it to me. Throwing it across the bar instead of handing it to me and then proceeded to say I can't come back to her bar ever again and she'll remember my face... I was never rude, all this over my jacket. I then came home and had the worst stomach ache imaginable followed by throwing up and in my opinion considered food poisoning. Never going again and strongly disagree anyone else coming here. read more

Came through today for lunch with a friend. The spot was a little empty, but that's understandable on a Tuesday at lunch time in Camas. He ordered a patty melt with potato wedges and I got a jalapeño burger with wedges as well. The food came out quickly and was more than both of us could eat (after my last Adam's meal I suggested we split a sandwich, but my friend insisted he could finish his). Plenty of heat in the peppers, but they were layered inside the cheese which seemed to buffer the heat and mellow it out in a good way. Usually jalapeño burgers are so spicy they make me hiccup, but this one was balanced and probably one of the best I've ever had. Amazing. My buddy loved his patty melt, which was made with two big patties, swiss, grilled onions and thick pepper bacon (there may have been more ingredients, but that's what I could see). He was able to eat one half and about half of his potatoes. Told you so! Our water was kept filled religiously and the service was quite friendly. While we were waiting for our food another patron was leaving and said "You getting lunch? You're in for a treat. Best food in town, hands down." It was a real treat, no doubt. read more

Easy chill bar in Camas. It's never too busy, except for busy weekends, or holiday occasion. I recently went this week which was the day before Thanksgiving and it got packed quickly - and with an intense amount of college kids. Just for perspective. So getting drinks took longer than we had experienced before. I do like how they have pool tables, foosball and maybe even darts - can't remember that one. It's spacious inside and it's just your chill dive to grab drinks and food at the end of the night. Definitely a plus since Camas doesn't have many late night spots. read more

Great local bar with good drinks, great draft and bottled beer selection, friendly people and even more friendly staff, and THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH I'VE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. Make no qualms about it, this is a dive bar. One of the best dive bars I have ever been to! When you walk into The bar, you are greeted by multiple people. People are so friendly, and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend one of their burgers, and some crispy tater tots. It's your typical small town dive bar, only with excellent IPAs on draft and a little known secret... Jeff's hot wings. They aren't as spicy as I'm accustomed, born in Arizona with the usual Latino and Southwest spice infusion, but they get one thing DOWN. And that's the perfectly crispy and moderately sauced wing that should be served. No fatty, soggy wings here. No, sir. They're absolutely worth the visit. Do beware that Camas is a small town and as beautiful as their downtown is to visit, be sure not to drive after a few potent beers - the police do circle the area late evening and are more than happy to pull you over. Overall, my favorite watering hole here as a new resident. The patrons are abrasive but friendly, and it's just my cup of tea (pretty sure there's no tea here). read more

A dive bar through and through, old, dirty (OK not really dirty-dirty, just weathered all over), when the doors open you get a huge whiff of cig smoke from outside. Some chairs falling apart, some brand new, some tables are questionable, most are OK. Bar and bar stools are from pre-prohibition, look and feel like it. But this is by far the greatest burger (bacon-cheeseburger) in the entire county bar none. Caveat to the greatest burger in the county is if the younger guy makes it. If the owner makes it don't bother, for some reason he doesn't have the knack but the regular cook literally makes the best bacon-cheeseburger you can get, at least anywhere near Camas/ Washougal for sure. Tater tots are very good and his fries are excellent too. The bartenders are some of the nicest around and the drinks are made very well and priced just right. Been going here since I moved here in 2001 every now and then and seriously I go there for my cheeseburger/tater tot fix. Walk out (through the smoke) happy every time. read more

Yes, this is a dive bar, but it's clean, it has pool tables, the burgers are amazing, the beers are good, and the service is spot on. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the music was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation, but still doable. I couldn't believe the spot on service. We went on a Wednesday night after a long hike in the Gorge. Our bartender was also our table server and chef. He was a no frills, no fuss kind of character, dressed in jeans and a plaid, who perfectly fit the scene and was exactly attuned to our every need. He didn't ask questions, just asked yes or no questions and listened to our order without a word, yet came out with exactly how we would dream of a burger. Perfectly cooked (we asked for medium), deliciously juicy, and fun toppings. If I'm passing through Camas again with a burger or beer craving, this is where I will be. read more

Cold beer, typical bar food on any day of the week.... A bit too much salt and request a straw for the cheesy fries because they will be soaked in orange cheesy goo. Did I mention soaked??... My club sandwich was a-ok and the tots were golden. On any given day of the week, Its a typical "working man's" bar located right across from the papermill. Go play a game of pool and have an after work beverage.... Oh, but wait! On a Saturday night, we 40 something's are old school! This is a hopping place for the younger crowd in Camas. Who knew! Best burger in Camas! Came here on a weekday for lunch and they had fast and friendly service. Ordered the King Felix burger and it was so good! The kind of burger you say "yumm" after every bite. Also had their berry cider on draft and it was perfect for a hot day. Wasn't expecting such great food judging from the outside but glad we went in and will definitely be coming back. read more

Been driving by this place for 10 years, stopped for the first time today. Much "cleaner" than I expected. Nice staff. They had 3 IPAs to choose from so that works. So far so good.
