I think this might be one of my favorite restaurants for taking a family in the Buffalo area! They…read morehave a menu filled with variety (but not overwhelming), plenty of different dining areas, and I especially love sitting outside in the summertime. The service was superb. Christina was one of the kindest, most genuine waitresses I've had in a long time. Their kids' menu prices have to be the same as they were at least five years ago, just $5, including a drink and a side. You really can't beat that! I was torn between their corned beef and chicken fingers, so I secured that I could get a finger from a shared meal and then ordered the Mother Superior. I substituted grilled sourdough since I'm not a fan of Kimmelweck seeds. This sandwich was loaded with tender corned beef and absolutely delicious with the melty Swiss, creamy Russian dressing, and lightly cooked red onions. We also ordered Combo #2 to share, which has several Buffalo favorites: chicken fingers, wings, beef on weck, and waffle fries. It was a LOT of food for a very reasonable price. My boys said the wings were amazing and perfectly crispy. There were plenty of waffle fries to share, and the chicken tenders were nice and crispy too. The kids loved their meals: mozzarella sticks, boneless wings, and chicken tenders. The fries were just okay, but when you have a vessels of blue cheese and a salt grinder on the table, you know they're going to be just fine. And then there's dessert... Very smart marketing to have a display of their homemade desserts right on the table! Our waitress mentioned that everything is made by their pastry chef, so of course we had to order a couple. We went with the pistachio cheesecake and peanut butter pie. The peanut butter pie was so smooth and creamy, and the kids loved the cookie crust and puddle of chocolate sauce. One of them actually said it was too much peanut butter. I had no idea there was such a thing! The pistachio cheesecake had a cake bottom with a thick, rich layer of cheesecake on top. We really liked the addition of lemon, it added a nice freshness to balance everything out. I absolutely love this spot and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food, a great atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Oh, and there's a popcorn machine in the bar area, which the kids made approximately 17 trips to.

We were the only ones in the room so it was great to be as loud as we wanted without disturbing anyone. They have a large parking lot but it can be easy to miss since it's by one of the roundabout's. I had the Beef on Weck wrap. Asked our waitress about it since it's been a while since I was there. She said it was one of the newer items and is very popular. The beef is wrapped in a flour tortilla with provolone, creamy horseradish, salt & caraway seeds & finished in a panini press. It comes with chips and a pickle but I upgraded to fries. My choices were straight cut, waffle or sweet potato so I opted for waffle fries. I would definitely order it again. Everyone enjoyed their food, too busy talking to take pics but some of their options were the beer cheddar soup, corned beef quesadilla, burger, chicken sandwich, roast beef on white bread with mashed potatoes & gravy. Their rye bread is baked in-house and you can purchase it just like one of my friends did.

Shout out to Jennifer, our waitress, who took very good care of us. Kenny Chesney, George Strait et al on the jukebox; one TV broadcasting sports, another one a hunting show. (Curiously, it showed men shooting turkey on the ground, and at another location it showed water buffalo getting hunted. These are draft animals in Asia! It's like shooting Holsteins or oxen). The appetizers of shrimp fritters and French onion soup were generous portions but salty; the bison burger was outstanding and juicy. The pastrami sandwich was lovely with lots of thin slices of meat between grilled rye. I look forward to trying their BBQ!

It was very busy and loud but it's a smaller place so it was expected plus they had great specials so I'm sure it brought people in. It was a Wednesday and it was "wing and wine Wednesday" so half price wine which is already so cheap that they were basically giving it away. It's a great place for wings or if you are in to bbq (pulled pork, brisket, even pulled chicken)! I went with the pulled chicken and the portion was huge. You get to pick 2 sides and went with the fresh cut fries and mac & cheese which were good but I regretted not getting the loaded potato salad.. I guess I'll get it next time!

Located just a…read morefew miles from our homestead, it's an absolute diamond in the rough that never, ever disappoints. The food is always fresh and prepared absolutely perfectly. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but a few standout favorites are: Chicken Wings: Outstanding crunch, flavor, and execution--some of the best you'll find in town. Fish Fry: Golden, crisp, and fresh every time, with excellent sides that are all homemade. Cheese Steaks are made with thier shaved prime rib and is incredible, great portions of beef, onions and mushrooms. The Chicken Parm: was much bigger and tastier than I thought. My parents could've split one order, however, they now have a second full meal at home- the noodles from the pasta are homemade. The Daily Specials are always incredible and ever changing. Chef has it going on, and is building a helluva reputation for his business. To top it all off, they have a fantastic beer selection that pairs brilliantly with the menu. Also, they have an INCREDIBLE Bourbon menu as well. Colden Country Inn is just outstanding across the board. If you're anywhere near Colden, do yourself a favor and check it out no matter the time of year. In the winter they have dining igloos on the outdoor deck, that are heated. Such a cool concept! This restaurant is becoming a main stay for every trip home to visit my parents. I've been here at least once for the past four years, and I will be coming back again! ;)
