Thought I'd check in again. Food practices seem to be much safer with RTE foods. One of my coworkers were raving about it, so I decided to give some more chances. Boy, is it expensive, so I tried to the app. I can get some good deals with it. The problem is they never make my food. I'll be waiting forever, then I have to tell them to make it because I have an online order, and the wait is a long time. I always select asap and place my order ahead of time. Mix and match only has pretzels and soda for the last year. This makes it harder on the wallet. Belfair has always been behind on the times. Someone with some brains needs to get their online ordering fixed. One of the worst experiences for ordering ahead of time in this town. Any other place is a better option if you're in a hurry, or on a break. The southern facing lights have been unilluminated for years. That's their biggest advertisement on highway three at night. It's crazy they don't reactivate that circuit or fix it? Imagine it's been really slow at night for years, sucking sales because of that. Some great news about the place. Let's do a positive! The manager has addressed the few times one particular employee that just can't get my order right, ever! I was feeling splurgy, and went through the drive a few times this last year, and got wrong stuff. This guy makes it right with a smile, Everytime. Afraid that this place is filled with mostly incapable incompetent, maybe human beings? One guy there was willing to help but the lady at the front told me my item was an "online only item" so I downloaded the app and couldn't find it. The lady behind the counter was drooling and confused. Someone from the back yelled "we can't make that we don't have the product anymore" come to find out it was just an Oreo Blizzard but with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. You could probably put a box of crayons out on the counter with a coloring book and rob the place with out most of the employees noticing. read more

This Dairy Queen always Disappoints but we keep coming back for more. Cuz it's the only option in town. We Once paid a small fortune for an ice cream cake that looked like a 3 year old did the writing. There has been weird activity at this location in the past like the same Car going through the drive thru many many times and not getting any food. But what really makes me bleh on this DQ is the ice cream has no swirl and the photo I post is what the ice cream came out looking like. I mean come on, all cracked chocolate with it leaking out and the worst. no swirl Let us know when this location receives some training on what the food should be looking like and cooked within guidelines for Dairy Queen quality. read more

Perhaps management needs to retrain the person in the Drive-Thru. It was the hottest day of the year I'm sure as it was about a 100 degrees. I got in line around the front of the building as a line had already been pretty long, I'd say about four or five cars ahead of me from the intercom. I got up to the intercom and I was asked to wait which didn't bother me. But after some time I began to wonder if they were going to take my order as there was a good six cars behind me. I had asked if they were ready for my order yet since I'd probably been sitting there for anywhere from five to 10 minutes and they still ask me to wait more. (they should have been the ones to communicate with 'sorry for waiting' or 'we will be with you soon') By the time I had pulled up to the window I noticed that all the cars in front of me were gone. (Why did they halt all orders after the car ahead of me I don't know) I understand when someone is being trained, but the business was still losing profit by having me sit there in the Drive-Thru (the only way to order your food right now). I should have timed it but I didn't want to have to be like that. I almost left the drive-thru to go elsewhere to get my cold fix on that super hot day. I'm sure there's a few people that actually didn't even bother to get in line because the line had been sitting for so long. Ice cream is fine when it comes-the three stars are for the quality of food when it comes out. Workers need to work on communication, efficiency. read more

We pulled in at night, after a long day driving and noticed 2 nice teenage boys working alone. They were polite enough but when we left with our burgers, they were cold like, hours sitting kind of cold. It was really disappointing and gross. Waste of our money. I've never actually been able to even order food here. I have gone to this location at least 2 handful of times in the past 4 years and almost every time I've gone they don't have food. Or they don't have ingredients for the food on the menu. Or they've turned off the grills an hour and a half before they close. Also almost every time I've gone when I've tried to order things and they tell me well one thing is out, then another thing is out. Or they just don't have certain ingredients to it, the employees are laughing. Why would you be laughing because you still have an hour and a half before you close and yet you don't have any food to serve? And I'm talking about a variety of different items. I have just taken my brother there as well. He always just shrugs because they are out of what he wants. I will change my review if I ever get to order. The most attempted recent visit was a week and a half ago. read more

We only got ice cream but we had a great experience. Fast, clean and friendly. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I really wanted an Arctic rush or and Orange Julius and the machine was down. Boo. read more

Went into Belfair DQ for some food around 5pm on 9/4/16. I ordered the Number 1, 1/4 Pound Bacon Cheese GrillBurger combo, and my Girlfriend ordered A Cheeseburger, just the burger because we share the combo.... So... When you go to this DQ you have to always expect a long wait, it is in NO WAY a "fast food" joint. We dined in the lobby, so I understand Drive Thru is Prioritized, but we waited 15-20 minutes before getting our food. When the food arrived the burgers were sloppily put together, (you know, in the traditional ghetto Fast Food fashion) And the fries were stale and cold. The "Bacon" on my burger was pathetic Microwavable pre cooked bacon and it wasn't even centered or layed across the burger, it was balled up under the cheese off to one side of the patty. We left un satisfied with our experience and will only go there if we want Ice Cream or a Sundae now (which isn't very often) . Side Note: The entire staff seems to be Minors that have received poor training. It isn't their fault so I'm not trying to diss the staff, they seem to be working their best, but in my opinion they need a REAL manager to come in there and get that crew to be more precise and prompt. Do NOT go to this Dairy Queen. The ice cream has a funky after taste, everything melts so fast you might as well drink your blizzard with a straw. The employee's act like they don't want to be there and it shows in their service. I live in Belfair but I will drive to Port Orchard to get ice cream from Dairy Queen and I can guarantee that it will still be somewhat frozen by the time I get home. Really disappointed in this DQ. Staff is slow. They don't listen to your order. How hard is it not to put the Pie Pieces in the Blizzard when you say no pie pieces? Then they leave the Ice Cream Peanut Parfait sitting out in the heat so it's melted by the time they hand it to you. They really need quality control and supervision. Too much personal chit chat and ignoring the customers. read more

Sat forever in the drive thru for two large vanilla ice cream cones. First one looked like a medium and was already very melted. Second was so lopsided it almost fell off in the server's hands and she looked surprised when I didn't want it and asked for a new one. The new one was even smaller and extremely lopsided and melty. WILL NOT GO BACK TO ANY DAIRY QUEEN DUE TO THIS ONE! We were on our way back from a baseball tournament stopped here on the way to the ferry. Big mistake. Started off with a SLOW drive thru so we parked and went in. There were customers sitting but no one waiting for food. My son ordered his plain cheeseburger and ended up getting rung up for 23 burgers. The entire time the girls was voiding the 22 burgers she was complaining about the computer system. Then we placed the rest of our order a few minutes later. My husband paid and we waited and we waited and we waited. Had to ask for my drink cup had to ask for my husbands Orange Julius 3 TIMES and it took forever. We waited over 10 minutes for our meal and remember there was no one in the restaurant waiting for food just us. Then I walk out to the car my fries are missing. I went in an asked for them and she looked all confused like she had no idea what I was talking about asking for my fries that I didn't get. Then we finally get everything, get in the car start heading towards the ferry my husband asks for his second cheeseburger the $7 cheeseburger turns out that wasn't in the bag. But we had a ferry to catch so we couldn't go back for the burger. Then when I go to the Dairy Queen website and post a customer concern or complaint I get a form email back, wait a week still don't hear anything respond to that form email and let them know will never be going back to a Dairy Queen again I get another response saying they will contact that franchise owner again and let them know about my concerns yeah it's been another week and I've still heard nothing. This is a brand new DQ! It was not sticky and quite modern inside. I am not a frequenter of DQ but I went with my family and they persuaded me to order the Peanut Buster Parfait. It is delicious. I went there late 6pm didnt come out till 7 because of them not telling me that they didnt have bananas. What fastfood place doesn't tell you if they have bananas, I would understand if they told me before I ordered but they didn't. They put mayo on my sisters muchroom Swiss burger, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and got NO bacon! My pickles, lettuce, onions, and cheese were all on one side of the burger. The other side was just burger and bun! I called to tell them about their mistake and they don't answer the phone. So maybe they will see it hear. read more

Last night I stopped at the Dairy Queen in Belfair around 7:15 PM. My total was $19.09. I handed the drive through cashier (a young woman) $50.09. She then tells me that she accidentally entered the wrong amount into her register and has to figure out what change to give me. This takes a ridiculously long amount of time (I actually see her pull out a calculator,) and then she hands me $30.19. I told her no, my change should be $31. She then asked her manager to come over who also pulls out a calculator and insists that the change is $30.19. After a couple more moments of back-and-forth they finally give me the right change, and then as we were driving away I hear the manager say to the cashier, "they just conned you out of a dollar!" Seriously? It would've been more difficult for her to figure out the change to give me if I had given her the $50 bill. Me giving her the nine cents made it so that she literally had to give me no change and only $31 back. Not only that, but I am struggling to understand how they even came up with the $30.19. The only thing I can fathom is that they were going to give me $30.91 back, which would've made a little more sense, but apparently both the cashier AND the manager managed to switch the numbers to come up with $30.19. Dairy Queen, you need to teach your employees AND managers: 1) How to do math 2) How to use a calculator 3) How to keep your rude (and sorry, STUPID) comments to yourself until customers are out of earshot. read more

My mother, daughter and I went in one afternoon for a late lunch and left after waiting in line for 10 minutes. No one ever acknowledged us or anyone else who was waiting in line. It's common sense; greet your customers!! If you're busy, a simple "I'll be with you in just a minute" works wonders. read more

The food isn't too bad and the staff is friendly, however we used to go often for blizzards but the ice cream is always so melted and runny that we now just get ice cream from the grocery store. The commercials say you should be able to turn your blizzard upside down and the ice cream will stay in the cup, but if I turned a blizzard from this particular establishment upside down right after they handed it to me it would be all over the ground. read more

One star for the fact that there was actually food in the bag. Not what we ordered, but it was edible. Service was very slow, we had two kids meals and two combos and it was apparently excessively difficult for the drive thru staff. She kept mixing up the sauces while reading them back, made a big deal about charging us for extra, charged me for extra and then didn't even put them in the bag. Kids orders were wrong and fries were cold. I don't know if they are short staffed or horribly managed but if you're driving through, go somewhere else. Anywhere else. I went there for lunch today, ordered the $5 lunch. I requested a no sugar added fudge bar instead of the sunday because of strict dietary restrictions. I was told that they wouldn't do that. I said they've done it before because I can't have sugar due to stomach surgeries. She said, "well, I'm the assistant manager and I say no. We mostly get just ice cream. It is usually good, though the ice cream can be too soft, and sometimes the chocolate ice cream tastes like it is really half vanilla. We keep getting charged a different price for the same order. The servers tell us the other servers are ringing it up wrong, even though we are charged more than the price on the menu and are not informed our order will cost more until we are at the drive through window. We have eaten at this DQ several times since it opened. Today was the worst experience ever. After several minutes of waiting at our table for our food, an employee arrived and told us it would be a while longer as our meals (All 3) were given to a driver thru customer. Several minutes later, our meals arrived. I had ordered a grilled chicken wrap, I received a crispy chicken wrap. I had to wait several more minutes for my meal to arrive. We has two $5 buck lunches and a kids meal. When we went to get our ice cream for dessert, the cashier did not know how to rung up fee ice cream.She also told us that DQ does not have a Cherry Dilly bar. We finally got our ice cream and Cherry Dilly bar. One employee told us not to be upset because there are new people working and they don't know everything yet. read more
