We were in the area at lunchtime and decided to try Dexter's. It was pretty quiet when we arrived but got busy soon after. The burgers were great, fries fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient, the seating area was clean and nothing fancy, just right for a drive-in. We found the prices to be really good, less than expected based on other similar places, so overall good value.

Good food and worth the wait. It's by the bay. There are birds in the parking lot like HEY OH WHAT UP IM A BIRD IN PARKING LOT and this guy and this girl are working here they're like "phone order number 28" but nobody came up to get the order until somebody did. She was kinda a nasty Karen looking lady and she was just sorta rude but I guess that's ok. Then she left and we were all happy and then the birds were like OH HELL WE BIRD THO and sometimes really weird political demonstrations happen on the corner near here but this weird sicko with a Kermit puppet on his hand and a stupid sign, he wasn't there so that's good So here's a picture of the pillar and brick work outside of the order window I like it because it's good to lean against and be like right there. All the high school students come here too but that's fine too. They think I'm fly and tell me I have a nice hoodie on like thx guys you're fly too So definitely make sure to come here whenever you can and bask in the hamburgerness. I do.

    Yummy banana milkshake

Good milkshakes better than most I've had food is really good they put a little to much onions but other than that I would recommend to my friends

Says it's open until 7 everywhere else, never been here before.

Didn't realize they closed early today because we never came here before. As my son tries to open the door, the employee/owner comes to the door quickly and locks the door on him real quick! Didn't even say anything to him or me and then turned their back to us, avoiding all eye contact. Completely rude. Another family is sitting inside eating. We live like 8 minutes away from here. We won't be eating here in the future.

One of the best family burger place. We frequent there over the last 3-4 years. Really good burgers, fries (curly fries too), and shakes.

The beef was perfectly seasoned and juicy, but the real standout was the quality of the toppings. The bacon was thick-cut and crispy, providing that essential smoky crunch without overpowering the sharp, melted cheddar. Everything is served on a fresh bun that actually holds up to the last bite. The Fries: You can't skip the sides here. The fries were hot, golden, and seasoned to perfection--exactly what you want to pair with a heavy hitter like the Bacon Cheddar. The Vibe: The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, making it the perfect spot whether you're a local or just passing through the harbor. The service was prompt and friendly, even during the lunch rush. Final Verdict: It's rare to find a place that nails the "gourmet" aspect without losing the soul of a classic burger. If you are in Gig Harbor, this is a mandatory stop. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu!

I was treating my mom to a birthday lunch where she enjoyed the most amazingly textured and light salmon cakes with the best dipping sauce over a beautiful Caesar with an oyster Caesar dressing. I had an equally as impressive mushroom bucatini and while I'd usually add a protein to my pasta this one did not need it so I skipped it and did not regret that as the medley of mushrooms was just so flavor packed and plentiful. I devoured my many leftovers later that evening. We will be back!

At that price, I expected a thick burger that would be cooked to order...something like you'd get in a steakhouse or a French restaurant. The burger comes with au jus, furthering that expectation. Burger showed up, torched through, completely brown all the way through. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said 'oh, it's a smashburger, we can't cook it to medium rare'. Ok, well first of all $24 for a smashburger is nuts. No mention of that on the menu. If I want a smashburger, I'll pay $6-8 at a food truck. And second, why didn't you tell me that when you took my order for a medium-rare burger? I would have ordered something else. And the cup Au Jus was thicker than I expected, more like a sauce, rather than something to dip your burger in. Strange. Skip the $24 (smash)burger, get something else. Definitely would not recommend.

The brewery has indicated that this food truck is dedicated to this location and should be ready open in approximation to the brewery's business hours. Steve and I went here a little while back when we were paying a visit to Gig Harbor, looking up an old friend. We wanted some beer and it we were also hungry so it proved to be convenient to get some hamburgers here. I got the Galley Burger which proved to be a good hamburger with thousand island, bacon, carmelized onions, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and American Cheese. Steve got the Garden Burger which was also quite good. We split a nice amount of fries to share which were prepared quite well. So all in all a good meal. I also see that they have Panini sandwiches which were a frequent temptation of mine in the past so perhaps in the future I will explore that part of the menu some more. The wait was a bit long for the food to arrive. But the taproom was booming and there were very few places to sit so I imagine they were having to adapt to the large customer volume. But in the end it was a good, positive experience all the way around.
