So everyone wanted to know if I enjoyed my birthday September 24 celebratory dinner from dairy Queen was completely screwed up by them. This was to be a very special dinner for me and my roommate and they completely messed up my order. That $25 was very hard to come by. This is what we ordered. Chicken strip get four piece Ranch dipping sauce I need rings instead of french fries Ranch dipping sauce A small Snickers blizzard instead of the drink For my roommate She ordered a single cheeseburger combo It was to have mustard, mayonnaise, pickles, tomato The french fries were to have two to three packets of ketchup A chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard that was small size instead of the drink What we got? One miniature blizzard that was melted Three piece chicken strip basket with one barbecue sauce and no ranch A very sloppy cheeseburger combo The driver Alejandro refused to bring the order to my nursing home room so I had to wheel up there in my wheelchair to get the food. Honest mistake to leave chili off chili dog. But when the manager offers your next free, that should be how it goes! Not some rude lady who says it's been over a month and walks away. Do you really think my husband held onto a receipt for over a month ( with managers name he spoke to on it) just to scam you out of two chili dogs??!! Came through after work to get a blizzard for my mom. It just looked gross and the staff gives the perception that they could care less if you receive edible food. The spoon was stuck in my blizzard and it appears that a manager told the young man at the window to remove the spoon. He disappeared with the blizzard and came back looking suspect. This was once my FAVORITE dairy queen of all I've known and been around since moving to Carroll County in 1988!!! Today I go to grab lunch for myself and 2 blizzards for a colleague and I only to be told 1. That I could not place more than 1 order per vehicle at a time. Which is absurd given I'm in a wheelchair (and yes I drive). So I spend an entire 30 minute lunch break driving around the DQ parking lot as to not disappoint my colleagues whom were relying on me to eat lunch. To add insult to injury, the 1st blizzard I purchased which melted by the time I was able to order the 2nd on the 2nd ticket, had a hole in the cup and I had no more time to go back to complain. I was really disappointed the last time I went to Dairy Queen (AGAIN). I went about 9:30 pm. I ordered 2 Oreo Blizzards at the drive thru. They didn't do the upside down thing but asked if I wanted lids.. well "yes" I told the guy.I got home ready to eat my blizzard.....opened the lid..it looked like nothing but vanilla ice cream with about 4 or 5 broken Oreo cookies in it (not even mixed up hardly). The ice cream was melted . I swear I ate the chunks of cookies out of it and literally drank the rest of the ice cream..... I was so disappointed...I won't be back. I'm very disappointed in this DQ; I placed a order with a employee for a cake, that I knew and that I wanted specifically to make my cake, She never told me she didn't work there anymore, when I asked if she would make it, she said yes it will be ready, if I would have known she didn't work there, I would have placed my order else where! I get there the lady makes me sit in drive thru line to pick my cake up, get to the window, and it was incorrect, after I called and verified the cake that morning with the design it was suppose to be, when I show the picture of the cake it was suppose to be she basically said oh well, she was very rude and unprofessional, didn't offer to fix it, then when I got home I also noticed the name was spelled incorrectly his name is spelled Brayden, it was spelled correctly on the order form, I called then she said bring it back I'll fix his name! If I could give this zero stars, I definitely would. I have never been to a drive thru and been talked to as rudely as I was yesterday afternoon at this Dairy Queen. My office wanted ice cream and sent me to get it. I ordered 3 blizzards and a sundae. I had $10 cash that was given to me, and my card. The total was $12.17. When I pulled to the window I just asked them to put the $2.17 in the card. The girl looked at me like I was an idiot and said ok. A few seconds later another lady comes to the window and bluntly and rudely tells me that they don't split payment types. I asked her to just make it two orders then. I then got an EYE ROLL from her!!!!!! She was difficult and popped an even worse attitude with me And stated that they only did ONE order per vehicle in the drive thru so that wouldn't work, and that it was owners policy. At this point I was irritated with her attitude and took my card back from her. I counted out $2.17 in change for her. She made it inconvenient for me because she was too lazy to change a screen. Yes, I could have given her my card, but she wasn't making it easy on me. Then I drive to the next window and the girl starts shoving the cups out of the window at me. I tell her I need a cup holder and she huffs, slams the window while I'm holding one blizzard, shoves the rest in a cup holder, sticks it out the window to me, and slams the window. All while I'm trying to juggle getting the blizzard in my hand (that was melting) into the cup holder. I have heard a lot of bad experiences from this place, and yesterday (6/14/17) I got to experience it. Save you money and time and don't go to this pathetic operation. I won't anymore. read more

This is the only Dairy Queen in my town, so if I want a Blizzard, my options are limited. Having said that, I will never get another Blizzard there. The last several times I've gotten one, I ordered them with "extra stuff" because I know they're going to be light in the stuff that actually makes them Blizzards. But even having paid for the extra stuff, they never have enough stuff in them to even make them Blizzards at all. They are basically vanilla soft serve, with a few specks in it. By the time you get half way done, it is all just vanilla soft serve. It's a waste of money, and highly disappointing, considering the fact that I go there wanting a Blizzard, paying extra to get more stuff in it, and I end up with a just cup of vanilla soft serve. I usually go through the drive thru, so I thought one time I'd go inside, tell them, face to face, that I expect extra stuff since I paid for it, and it's still severely lacking in stuff. And since I'm sure it's been different people making them every time I go, this practice of shorting the Blizzards has to be a directive from management. It's their SOP. So, if I absolutely have to have a Blizzard, I'll be making the drive to Douglasville to get one. read more
