Waited 25 minutes in the drive through. happens all the time. We live in Dallas and quit going for about 4 months. Gave it another try with the same sad service. Go to BK, McDonalds or Taco Bell. Very poor experience. read more

We waited 15 MINUTES!!! In the drive thru while the car in front of us waited for their order. When we finally got up to the cashier window, the cashier never smiled or said ' sorry for the wait'. UPDATE: Well, I need to provide an update on my last review.... So DQ reached out and said they would be addressing the issues I had posted. Initially, I wasn't going to go there any more, but I decided to see if they were true to their word. Well, I went back and it was like night and day. The staff were friendly, service was quick and the food was good. I returned a total of 3 times to make sure this wasn't just a temporary thing. I'm not sure if personnel were replaced or there is just better management, but I appreciate DQ taking complaints seriously and providing great service again like we've known in years past. I ordered the 4 piece chicken strip basket which I really like at Dairy Queen. The chicken strips were good and the order was correct. The fries were absolutely awful! They were limp, cold, and tasted like old grease. I threw almost all of them away. What a waste of $9. My family lives locally and are consistant customers with no real complaints. Good young "kid's" running the place. Imagine being turned away at the drive through after sitting there behind 4 cars and being told they "close at 9pm". It was 9:11pm. On a Saturday? Ugh. Lunch rush evidently caught them off guard? Waiting 15 minutes to even order and an additional 10 minutes for our food is the absolute opposite concept of fast food, especially when we have lunch plans away from the restaurant with our niece we never see. Staffing didn't seem inadequate, but at the same time, maybe more (or better trained) staff behind the counter would have been helpful. Super slow staff, only to get the wrong item, expensive for a tiny amount of anything, etc. It's just been a horrible experience the the last several times I've went for my family/friends or myself. I've had so many rough experiences here. I've tried so many times to give it a chance. First I got a chocolate chip cookie dough and got such a small amount of dough. I brushed it off and went again. I got a mini royal peanut butter and it was just flowing out of the cup, it got all of the table and my hand. Pathetic. After years of getting a decent sized large swirl cone they think they can change the size and nobody will notice. Well I did notice, you advertise a large on your commercials but when it comes time to anty up you fall flat.
