On 4/15/2019 at 6:30ish-pm- bacon double. Bun- looked appetizing, however was at stage 10 staleness and broke in half when I bit into my burger. Beef patties- sort of a translucent charcoal color that tasted much like the color. Bacon- clearly left from breakfast Veg- on point! Tomatoes and onion were fresh and crisp. Fries- barely luke warm. Service- window girl was emotionless and clearly annoyed with my presence at her restaurant. Giving 2 out of 10, could have been a 3 if my fries were hotter. read more

I work in a restaurant and am usually very understanding with food worker but this Dairy Queen was awful. stood at the counter almost 5 minutes for someone to take my order, there was atleast 5 employees maybe even 6. multiple of them looked over at me standing there and did not acknowledge me or come to take my order. finally someone came over and she didn't even greet me and just asked what I'd like and once I paid she just stood there, didn't ask if I'd like my receipt or say thank you or tell me my order will be out shortly. just walked away. then I get my drink and there's a dead fruit fly on the rim of the lid along with other dirt and debri. the restaurant was completely empty and drive thru didn't appear to be busy. pretty disappointed in my experience and this is my first time ever writing a bad review so that says a lot! read more

Worst fast food place I've ever been to. It took 5 minutes of me standing at the register while the worker was talking with other workers to take my order and when she did it ended up being a 45 minute wait just to get my order of chicken tenders and a sundae. All the workers were high schoolers that had zero clue on what they were doing they brought only my Sunday out without telling me and it sat their for half an hour and completely melted I didn't know it was mine until the rest of the food came out 30 minutes later. The food was so cold and the cheese wasn't even melted on my hotdog. I'll be lucky if I don't get food poisoning never eat here I hope this location gets shutdown because it certainly deserves to. read more

How can this Dairy Queen get any worse? The gravy is so runny that it pours out of the container. It got all over the inside of my car, on my clothes, in my purse and on my office desk when I set it down. When I finally got to work and opened the container, there were 2 soggy biscuits, chunks of sausage and no gravy. It literally spilled out on the 2 minutes it took to get to my office. You must ask for things like napkins, which will then have the starbucks logo on it. This last time, I didn't get a DQ cup, it was a five star cup (local gas station that closed!). I ordered a dipped cone, I only eat out once every freaking few months, they proceeded to tell me the ice cream machine was not set correctly and asked if they could put it in a cup. They put it in a cup, the ice cream was mush, I didn't even get my cone (that comes with a dipped CONE), and the rest of our order was mush as-well. Pulled into this place at about 9:56 at night on a Saturday. This page says it's open until 11:00, and the 6+ long car line in the drive-thru made me to believe that was true. I, along with all those cars and about 6 behind me, ended up waiting in the line foolishly waiting for 15+ minutes to get served. I wanted to leave( but was stuck between cars waiting. Everyone finally started moving to leave with alll the lights on in the restaurant and drive thru, cars honked, and people tried speaking through the speaker. Disgusting. Went through drive through and took longer than normal to get a small blizzard so I was just looking around and it looked nasty inside. The coke machine looked like it had never been wiped down and the walls and towel holder inside looked like someone sprayed a hose all over the place. Horrible! My mom ordered a chocolate chip malt extra thick and they gave her a chocolate malt. They didn't even know what a chocolate chip malt was and when we went up go window to get our food people inside working was yelling at each other which was very unprofessional and I ordered sauced and tossed chicken tenders and they normally get silverware so they didn't give any so now I can't eat it cuz we are going home to Indy. Worst Dairy Queen ever! The blizzard was not what I ordered and was terrible, it had way too much toppings is was unbearable.

The service here was great and all workers were nice, but when going through the drive through to order 5 Blizzards it was a very slow process of ordering. After ordering we then proceeded to wait fifteen minutes for them to bring us half frozen blizzards which at the point was just milk with toppings in it. read more

Pretty disappointing. I travel for work and stay at hotels, unfortunately no kitchen this time so I have to go out to eat. 1rst trip to DQ I ordered caramel waffle, they were out. So I left. 2nd time I ordered the same, I got to the window and cashier handed me a caramelly shake? I told her what I ordered, she shouted to the kitchen and yep they were still out?? Where to begin, last week we came through the drive through ordered and when we got home almost nothing was right. Wring sandwich, onlybabout six fries in each order. Called and they gave us three free meals. Shoelwed up today to give them another chance and dined in this time. No better, stale buns little to no service, no real management in sight. Probably only deserves 1.5 stars. Managed to mess up a really simple order. Not worth bringing the mistake to their attention because of the incredibly slow service. God help them if they were actually busy. They were running around like a chicken with its head cut off and not accomplishing much towards completing orders with only 3 customers and 3 employees present. I almost bought a blizzard or some dairy product, but decided not to because management was allowing a customer's toddler in diapers to sit and walk on the table where they give you your special dairy orders. I'm traveling from a wedding in Illinois back to Virginia and I stopped here to grab dinner for us before going to our hotel for the night across the street. I got a chicken bacon ranch sandwich, which, correct me if I'm wrong, is supposed to have ranch, not mayo. It was loaded with warm nasty mayonnaise. After scraping off what u could, I managed to get it down but this was the grossest oldest tasting food I've ever had at a drive through! I've thrown up 6 times and my daughter has twice. I don't know what has happened to this location. It took 5 minutes for an employee to even acknowledge I was in the store, and then it was an employee who was off the clock. The employees who were "working" were chit-chatting and not working efficiently. The woman before me had to correct her order twice after the server tried to give her the wrong thing. It took nearly 10 minutes to get my 3 mini blizzards, which were all runny and not at all well mixed. The bottom 2/3 of the cup were completely white. The tables were all dirty, despite the restaurant being near empty when we got here. Things will have to improve drastically before I return. read more

Avoid the place! The food here is not like other DQ's. Had a ham biscuit this morning, it was more like Spam than ham. Gross. Had a sausage biscuit but there was no taste to sausage, it was dark black from over cooking. Ordered the nationally television advertised dippers. Was told it would be 7 minutes. Was more like 3. The biscuits must have been broiled because could have bounced them off the wall they were so hard. The topper was when I opened the lid to my large cherry coke, and there was a bug stuck on inside of the lid. I would never have known had i not poured into my cool cup. I was given no receipt but took back everything anyway spoke with manager who said she'd been trying to get her manager to bring her receipt paper. Also said she wouldn't order the dippers because they were too hard. DQ is running a national tv campaign on these things. She offered to make me another breakfast but I said I'd rather have my money back. She looked up the receipt and refunded my money. Yuck! Never again will I go there. read more

I ordered the brownie with ice cream and it was served with approximately an ounce of ice cream. When I received the item I was disappointed with the amount of ice cream I received so I ordered a cup of ice cream, rather than complain. I will say this is the 3rd time that I had been disappointed with the serving size that I have received at this location and have been going to another establishment to get ice cream. The young man knew I was upset and said, what I felt was sarcastically, "have a nice day", because of his tone, I did not answer and he said it again louder and when I didn't answer again, he yelled it, as I was driving away. I know that his manager was standing near by. The young man, the manager and 1 other employee that I saw did not have on masks. I waited on tables for over 10 years when I was young and never did I treat a customer in that manner because I am not that type person and knew that if I had, I would be fired. The food here is reasonably good. I use both the drive through and the counter regularly. The food here is consistently good. The restaurant is relatively new and clean. My only complaint is that when you order a blizzard, they often do not fill up the cup. Last time, the ice cream was a full inch below the cup line. Sometimes, the employees do not say "thank you" to the customers, even after I say "thank you." (You'd think that would remind them.) The most you might get is "Have a good day," as they give you your change. I know this is minor, but it takes no effort on the employees' part and makes me feel like they really don't care whether they have repeat business. read more

Rather depressing to go out on lunch break, wait for approximately 15 minutes for 4 cheeseburgers with no ketchup, even worse was i got my food before others that had ordered before I came in the store. I later found out when I returned to work, my cheeseburgers were missing the cheese on all of them. I noticed during the inspection for cheese that 2 burgers were noticeably smaller than the other 2 burgers, I'm sure the smaller ones were burgers for the value priced burgers I had ordered, however consistency would have been nice. A young woman waiting for her bacon cheeseburger (she had been there longer than me) was astonished and puzzled when I received my 4 "cheese"burgers and she was told they were waiting on burgers to be cooked. Orders were being taken out to the seating area and brought back (not sure if they were just wrong orders or the person(s) left who ordered). Persons had to come back to the counter due to incorrect orders: 6 piece tender basket with only 4 tenders one burger patty on an ultimate burger (should have had two) I found the staff to be pleasant, confused, and amazingly calm for the chaos that ensued the store. read more

In a word: disorganized. This led to poorly cooked food and a lot of waste, not to mention some uncleanliness and some items not available. While passing through on our way back home from vacation, we stopped here to get a small bite to eat and to fulfill a promise of getting the kids some ice cream for traveling so well (we still had about 200 miles to go). Six adults and 4 kids (2 of which are infants). Orders took much longer than they should have taken to fill, and in the 45 minutes we were there about 4 different families took their food back up to the counter because it was either made wrong, or not cooked well. Mine would have fallen in the latter but I chose to pitch it instead. While waiting on the ice cream I watched them make something, call it out, and then throw it away when someone didn't come up to get it or it was the wrong flavor. This kind of waste adds up. Some of the staff were really trying hard, but overall it appeared as if the rest couldn't care less. When we arrived there were 3 employees hanging out in a table are just laughing and carrying on, while someone from my family kept asking if someone could look at the Coke machine (the kind that allows you to choose any combination of Coke products). 75% of the selections, including most of the more common choices, were unavailable. No sign of apology, no concern for the customer. When I entered the men's room to change my son's diaper, the baby changing station was disgusting. I can understand if a careless parent was a little sloppy in their use of it, but some of the debris I saw was likely days old. Perhaps this was just a bad day for them, or just business as usual. Then after waiting for my order of a single dip cone for 8-12 minutes with one car in front of me, I'm told they are out of the topping. The only Dairy Queen that is equally bad is on Versailles road between Versailles and Lexington. What a disappointment when they are great places to stop or visit all over the country. Let me preface this review by saying with Denise this place is 5 stars.....without Denise, you're looking at 3 stars at the absolute best. At this point you may be asking yourself, who is Denise? Denise can simply be described as a one woman show and then some. Now I do not personally know Denise but what I do know of her is that every time I am in this Dairy Queen and she is in charge, she is friendly, fast, extremely helpful, and couldn't be nicer even if she tried. Denise is flying around all over the restaurant, taking orders, serving food, making food, simply doing it all. This place would truly fall apart without this woman. Now even though Denise probably could run the whole store by herself (she basically does) she is no pushover either. From what I have seen of her she runs a tight ship as well! She keeps all her employees in line and preaches fast and friendly service! This woman is truly a godsend to this DQ and without Denise at the helm I know this place would fall apart and never be the same.
