This place used to be good. I came in to get dinner for my family; a couple chicken strip baskets and a double cheeseburger. The chicken strip meal deal hardly had any fries and they forgot the toast. What fries they did have were cold and mushy. After waiting a while they asked me if I had a burger too. The girl delivering the food and the person at the register were fine, but the cook was strung out (probably meth?). I certainly don't know what, but he had a bobble-head. My sister went to pick up a special order ice cream cake, the Happy Birthday was placed backwards, DAD in blue lettering was smaller than the lettering. The manager on duty was rude to the staff who went to her at our request to rectify this gross error. She rudely answered him, "Don't bother me, I'm busy." My sister was not going to leave until the manger gave the refund. Finally she grudgingly came with no apology, angrily grabbed cash from the drawer, and gave it to my sister less than what was paid. We tried to make the best of it. Later, we sang happy birthday, cut the cake, and it was NOT what he ordered...Butterfinger ice cream cake. He was very disappointed. I've been here twice over a couple of years. Same, super slow service the second time. I waited 25 minutes for a small blizzard. I'm assuming they prioritize drive-thru orders, as I didn't see any cars waiting that long. Met someone else there who ordered inside and they waiting 25 mins for two small blizzards, as well. And when I went inside to check on my order, I could hear the person taking the orders warning people in line, that it was going to be at least 20 minutes... I wonder how many customers walk out when they hear that? Also, now that I read some of the reviews here, I see that DQ has some sort of auto response that typically says "sorry to hear this, [your name here]. Hope you give us a chance again", but make no mention of actually taking some action with the franchisee to improve it. You can never go wrong with dairy Queen, and we rushed here after a full day of hiking for a blizzard. But the service here was top notch and honestly quite surprising for a fast food establishment. It seemed like there are a lot of high school and younger kids working here, but they were so kind and attentive and I really appreciated their friendliness after a long day. I have never written a yelp review before but felt I needed to become of how horrible the service was. I ordered two blizzards and waited 30 minutes in store for them. I counted at least 6 employees in the store and all of them were standing around looking confused. The store was totally empty except for a couple customers that came in after I had already ordered and was waiting. One of the customers that came in after me said he ordered 2 vanilla kids icecream cones for his children waiting in the car. By the time I finally got my blizzards the father had been waiting for 20 minutes - I don't know how much longer he had to wait. Horrible experience. Will never go back. read more

I went to pick up this cake for my daughter on 4/5/22 at 1030 am. I told the manger that the cake was supposed to be Pokémon themed and that her employee wrote on the ticket. She then argued that it was the best they could do and told me it wasn't nice to criticize her cake. The manager then asked me why I didn't just make the cake myself? I answered that I was not a paid professional and if they can't do themed cakes that she should tell her employees so that they know this. I ordered a cookie jar blizzard and she ordered a chocolate chip blizzard with cone dip and extra caramel. As we were on our way home, she took a bite out of her blizzard and soon realized it was not the right blizzard. I decided to the same and took a spoon full of nut. Sadly, I am allergic to nuts. They don't enforce the mask policy even though it says you must wear one on the door. I say take the sign down, put up masks optional sign or enforce it. I ordered the same meal at this DQ, and at the DQ on Main Street in St. George, Utah (28 miles apart): Two cheese burger triple patty combo meal with onion rings and a medium caramel Sundae. Here are the differences: 1. Cost of meal Hurricane: $12 St George: $16 2. Tips Hurricane: Not requested St George: Requested immediately after ordering. 3. Meal Delivery: Hurricane: Meal delivered to table by employee. St. George: Customers pick up order at counter. 4. Burger Hurricane: Well prepared (grilled) and easy to eat. St. George: Fell apart as I ate it. Meat tasted boiled rather than grilled. 5. Onion Rings Hurricane: 10 large onion rings all well prepared St. George: 5 small burnt onion rings 6. Sundae Hurricane: twice the size of the St George medium Sundae St. George: half the size of the Hurricane Sundae. I know where I will be eating next time, and where I will never go again.
