I guess I should of looked at these reviews before going here. The food was average BUT the service not so good. They male employee at the window messed up on our order and instead of fixing we had to pay for the "up charge" and they took the food back that was wrong and I'm disgusted because we touched it so are they handing this order to someone else ?? Absolutely horrendous service, after waking up in my moms spaghetti all I wanted was a delicious soft served cookie dough blizzard. But these imbeciles decided to close 15 minutes early. A place for scream A Diary Queen right on Main Street and in a plaza so there's always plenty of parking. This one is a "real" restaurant with seating inside and brazier burgers and fried stuff. The scream was typical DQ, which to me means great. All the usual blizzards and kin were available. The staff were polite and attentive and didn't screw up any orders. However all three or four times I have been in this place it didn't seem especially clean. Junk and the floor and pieces of food scattered around. On one occasion the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. Yeah it was summer and busy and costumers can be nasty but it still could have been cleaner. However it's still a DQ and therefore still a great place for a treat. read more

H and I used to live in Norwich and frequented DQ for the simple nostalgia of childhood.. Well, this DQ is nothing like the clean DQ of my toddler and pre-teen days. It's clean "enough," I guess. Alas, I move on. This establishment is on W Main St (pretty much everything is here) and is easily accessible by bus, bicycle or motor vehicle. It shares its lot with a number of other establishments including a laundromat and a Chinese take away. It's also close enough to the marina to stroll over (1/4 or 1/3 mile... ish). I had the s'mores blizzard and H had the Reese's blizzard- both were subpar with barely any graham crackers or chocolate bits (is it supposed to have marshmallows? If so, mine had NONE). Also, we've had meals here with our nephew... and the food lacks. You're better off going to one of the mom and pop chains down the road! read more

Every time i go to eat here there is always a line that goes out the door. It takes forever to order food and the employees are always screwing up my orders. I place an order and they messed up the order. Instead of replacing the full order they screwed up on they only replaced 1. Management is rude as hell. Went through the drive through and got 2 blizzards. For some reason they didn't think to put lids on them even though they were to go, and I couldn't ask for lids because they had already put the spoons in the cups. And the blizzards were overfilled. While it's nice to get extra ice cream, I went through the drive through so I could eat it at home. By the time I got home both had melted and spilt all over my car. A little frustrated. read more

If you want to feel uncomfortable and charged for something that was SUPPOSED to be on your burger, then this is the place to go. The service was horrible, and the unwillingness to help was appalling. Me and my boyfriend came and both ordered the flamethrower, but neither sandwich came with any visible sauce. After using his CREDIT CARD for 20 cents he was told that the cashiers get in trouble for not charging. Great food and especially the blizzards but the service at night is extremely slow!!! Very long wait time and they don't apologize for it!!! The only time it ever moved at a decent rate was when the owner was there!! Again, this was at night during the day they seem able to pull it together, just not at night!!! read more

Poor customer service. Went there Saturday night and spent $16 on a few ice creams. One was a hot fudge sundae. It was ice cream with a little bit of fudge and 1/2 tablespoon of whipped cream. Asked for a cherry and was told no it didn't come with it. I said there is no was I can get a cherry for this sundae and was told no. I know for a fact that Dairy Queen has cherries because I have had them many times on my sundaes. Also, there is usually a good amount of whipped cream. This was on par with a McDonald sundae which only costs $1. It's sad that they will lose our continued patronage over a cherry. read more
