This place is simply the best we have experienced thus far! On our travels from Nj to RI, CT is on the way! We like to have breakfast in a lot of different areas and places. Some places get over looked because the daily things can sometimes make us not see all the great things/ places. Right next to Bobby's Burgers in Mohengan Sun is a place called Hash House and go go. This placed is tucked back but be careful you can miss out on some deliciousness! All we could say was wow! You walk in on the left to be seated then promptly and pleasantly greeted! You will noticed the positive energy immediately ! We we seated and a nice and very clean table and the place was hopping. They menus are clear and very very detailed. I ordered the Griddled banana French toast and pecans and bacon and eggs. My lady had the Eggs , sausage, home fries and marble toast! My lady is very picky so if she says my word amazing that means it is super amazing! The servers and workers work hard and are very attentive! After we received our orders the presentation was flawless! We couldn't wait to just dig in! So many different flavors and so so delicious! They put a black cherry spread on the toast that is to die for! Everything was so perfect. Not to mention so tasty! Don't forget the good portions and warmed syrup. The workers were around when you needed them and not too close to feel like your space is being invaded lol. They were really nice and helpful. This restaurant is super busy on the weekends. There's always a line for parties larger than two. All members of your party have to be present before seating. Thankfully the two of us we were seated immediately. The waitress for our table was friendly but inattentive. Often we asked other servers walking around for little things like napkins, more syrup etc. My blueberry pancakes were huge and delicious. I've been to the one in Las Vegas a few times and I really enjoyed it so I've visited this one at Mohegan Sun twice in the last 3 months and both of my visits were excellent. I had breakfast there both times with biscuits and gravy plus scrambled eggs and coffee. The food quality was very good. Services was also excellent for me both times. It has a nice atmosphere on the inside. I recommend you give it a try. I'm from the South and the biscuits and gravy are the best I've had in this region of the country. read more

Was at the casino for a conference. My wife and I decided to go for breakfast before my meetings started, but there were few sit down dining options. We tried somewhere else first but they hadn't opened yet so came here. Was very busy but plenty of open tables and we were sat right away. Service was quick and food was very good. My wife had avocado toast and home fries. Huge portions and delicious. I had the griddled meatloaf and eggs. Again huge and well priced meal. The meatloaf was an interesting breakfast option which I had to try. Griddled potatoes was pretty much just a MASSIVE pile of mashed potatoes. Good, but was expecting more of a fritter. Fried spaghetti garnish was actually good. Out of season greenhouse tomatoes were an unnecessary and I don't really eat fruit so that went to waste too. Biscuit was fair, and the rosemary sprig flavor definitely carried into the dough. Eggs were fine and about all that made it a breakfast but that's fine by me. A cute breakfast place located inside of Mohegan Sun with farm/tractor decorations. I came here on a Sunday morning with my parents and there was a huge line. I placed my name and phone number on the waiting list in which they use the Resy application. The lady told me it would be a 45 minutes wait but it turned out to be a little over an hour. The time flew by as my parents went on slot machines and I browsed the stores. Upon seating, we were greeted by our server Hunter who asked us for drinks. My parents ordered coffee and I asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed. It indeed was freshly squeezed and I ordered a small one because the sizes are huge. However, this was before I saw the huge drink menu with a wide variety of drinks. I changed my mind to the blood Orange Mimosa which comes with a take home souvenir cup and my server was very accommodating. Then, for the food - my mom wanted pancakes and my dad wanted omelette but I ordered neither. Instead, I went with their more popular choices - fried chicken and blueberry waffles! The fried chicken was indeed very good - the skin was flavorful and crispy and the breast was not dry. The combo came with delicious mashed potatoes with shredded pieces of potato skin and was very buttery and flavorful (reminds me of the one at Applebee's). Additionally, there were 2 eggs, 2 bacon slices and a biscuit. The bacon and eggs were standard, the biscuit was alright - not very flavorful and a bit dry. The blueberry waffles usually come with a lemon glaze but I asked for that on the side. I think I like it with just syrup after trying it with and without the lemon glaze. The hash brown potatoes were good too. Two combos is more than enough for 3 people. We even had some leftovers! read more

A place somewhat familiar from the food Network, I hadn't realized they had a store at Mohegan Sun. I got here early before a trade show and this was the breakfast joint, thought it would be cool to check out. The good: ​Service was quick and good and friendly. Atmosphere pleasant. Coffee good and strong. Bacon very good. Biscuit huge and delicious. Eggs cooked nicely. But... The hash was profoundly disappointing. I wouldn't even call it hash at all. Served in a cast iron skillet that was only vaguely warm to the touch, clearly not actually cooked in the cast iron. Corned beef hash consisted of some home fry potatoes which were cooked okay but not really hot... And a bunch of deli sliced corned beef kind of shredded over the top with a bunch of cheese. There were some little bits of diced onion thrown in there, but the whole thing did not come together as a hash it was just stuff thrown in a pan. For 18.99 at a place called The hash House, I kind of expected that hash would be pretty good hash. This was not. It was edible, and I was hungry, so I didn't try to throw it back or anything... Love Hash House, every time I'm in Orlando or CT this is a must visit. Dined for breakfast on a Sunday around 11am, it was a 40 minute wait. Our waitress was very pleasant. Started with the Bailey's cold brew, it tasted watered down. Switched to a mimosa which comes in a 15oz hurricane glass, was perfectly made. I had the chicken and waffles which is huge, got it Nashville style, the waitress suggested putting the hot sauce on the side. Boy was she right! The hot sauce is very hot, my mouth was on fire, and I love spicy food. The waffles were nice and soft. Fried chicken was tasty and cooked just right. My friend had the corned beef hash which was delicious, served with eggs, a biscuit and home fries. This is real deal corned beef, not like the corned beef hash that comes in a can. Wanted a good breakfast before the day. Mohegan has limited spots for a sit down breakfast. First if you don't want to wait make a reservation. When we gave her name, she said 20 minutes. I'm a bloody Mary fan and I'm out try and find the best of the best in Connecticut doesn't have such a good selection so far so I got the BLT bloody Mary This comes with a 20 ounce glass rimmed with a pepper textured spice is tasty , it comes with a buttermilk piece of toast a tomato slice a slice of bacon and a large piece of lettuce from there. You take it all apart and assemble your BLT and enjoy your bloody Mary. The bloody Mary itself was very tasty and I would order it again. For breakfast, we got the egg sandwich which was humongous. My husband definitely enjoyed it. I ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg. The avocado toast came out perfect very pretty dish. When I went to add my poached egg to my toast, there was no yolk to it. It was just a pile of egg white in a bowl so I returned it and was promptly given a soft poached egg like I ordered. We had been here in the past and I probably would give it three stars. It seems like they've stepped things up a little bit. The staff seemed very nice. The restaurant was clean. This is your standard American breakfast with American portions and lemonade that has enough sugar to give you diabetes. This is not the place to trust your server. I asked the waitress how big the biscuits and gravy were and she said they were a normal portion. When the dishes came out, we were flabbergasted by the size. My partner and I were better off sharing the chicken benedict which was an enormous stack of protein, fat, and carbs. The chicken benedict came out hotter than the biscuits and gravy and the benedict tasted better with the sauce being slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and the perfect amount of savory. The chicken benedict had chicken, eggs, bacon, and dairy making it a carnivore's feast. Despite the delicious chicken benedict, the watermelon kiwi lemonade was anything but delicious. Somebody must've dumped 10 cups of sugar into the syrup because we had to dilute the lemonade with an 8 oz bottle of water to make it palatable. I'm surprised there weren't any undissolved sugar granules in the cup. Service was almost nonexistent. After the waitress took our orders, we didn't see her more than twice. We had to have someone else get her because we were stuck waiting for the bill. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised since this seems like your typical American diner where the servers don't make more than a couple dollars.
