Food: Fast, fresh, and good. Ribeye sandwich was quite tasty and just the right size. Service: A+ customer service. Very polite. Ambiance: small, cute, and clean!!! Luckily we beat the rush! Luckily the other flavors were on point to make up for the disappointment. Also, service was subpar. The cashier was incredibly friendly to the patron ahead of me but I didn't receive the same treatment. For example, she offered a bag to the customer and bagged all her items, but I had to explicitly request one and she just slid the bag across the counter for me to bag my items myself. That said, many locations are friendlier, and Firehouse seems to be another victim of the competitive marketplace for hiring good staff. It's a shared pavilion but so long as you come at a non-peak dinner time it is still relatively quiet. I may still return if decent app coupons come my way, but Firehouse these days is always at least three or four spots down my list of sandwich spots to frequent. I don't know if the tile is supposed to look like it does but it's not appealing at all and it looks filthy. Took five minutes before they took my order. I noticed one of the guys kept snapping his fingers at another employee guy. I thought that was disrespectful.. The trashcan was full to the point. It didn't close all the way.. I ordered the classic burger and added bacon and egg on it. Spent $16 for just a burger.. Bacon was 3.50 and the egg was $2.50 extra. The burger was a appealing to look at The bacon was cooked perfect. The beef patty was thin. The burger was better than McDonald's and Burger King. But I'm not going to say I can't wait to come back. No. I'm not against revisiting this establishment, but I'm not running back. Reflection: the burger tasted OK but the bacon was not edible. It looked really good.
