I placed a mobile order, and I waited for 40 minutes before an employee even spoke to me. People came in and asked if they could have help, and they were told "We're busy right now." Many people walked out. When someone finally did talk to me, they were very rude. The woman asked what I needed, and I told her I had a mobile order, and she asked "For?" This is not a review of a Dairy Queen. I'm commenting to beg DQ to reopen our Metairie, LA location. There are two DQ's in proximity to us but they are very far away for the purchase of an ice cream cake or anything else you'd like to take home. Especially when it is 97 degrees outside. It's not like I didn't want to love them. This brand new location is literally two minutes from my house. I'm no fast food snob, either. I have little ones and sometimes a home cooked meal just isn't going to happen. I think the burgers here are way subpar. They are too greasy and lack flavor. The chicken strips are filled with fat. Kids meals are going to happen occasionally but we will stick with Sonic across the street for those. As for the Blizzards? Sonic Blasts are better IMO. Sorry, DQ. read more

This place is the ultimate frozen anything stop!!! With the pretty much endless blizzard shake options. You can add almost any candy, fruit or regular toppings, they have the best holiday flavors also! During Christmas I am here at least once a week getting the candy cane shake or blizzard. They have food here too, the chicken strip basket is good. They also have a deal here where you can get strips, fries, a coke and a small sundae for $6!!!! Not a bad deal when it includes ice cream!!! Hot fudge sundaes are also good here!!! Add caramel (because caramel is the besttt) and you can tuck me in because I'm done!!! Brand new location, speedy drive through service and pretty decent sized parking lot. Which makes a difference because this place has been pretty busy since they opened!! It's across from sonic on Gause but if you haven't checked it out, you're def. missing out!! The blizzards are what they are most known for so I would recommend that first. So my experience with this place has been great. I frequent this location often with my kids and every time it's been clean, timely and good. The staff overall is friendly but I can't really speak on the food since we always get ice cream. Blizzards, parfait, dip cones and banana splits all been excellent. Heck we were there when they were training on dip cone making, I must of ate three tall but crooked dip cones that they were giving away but practice makes perfect. read more

I give this Dairy Queen a ZERO out of 10. After waiting 15 minutes in line, we were the next car inline and tried to place our order. It was 10:58 (again after waiting 15 minutes in line) and no one asked for our order. After saying "hello" several times with no response, we pulled up to the window and 3 workers inside ignored us. I just ordered a heath blizzard from this location. When I got home I started eating it. Not really sure how you screw up a milkshake but there was no heath candy in the Blizzard at all. It's just a vanilla ice cream. I am so sick of these places, willing to take my money and offer shit service. They were also out of a lot of the other blizzard options. Won't be back to the location. I've been to many Dairy Queens (all over the country) because it's one of the few restaurants that all three of my sons can agree on to eat at... This one is in my hometown (we waited patiently for years to finally get one) and we frequent it regularly. I find the staff to be very friendly and quick with our orders, and the food to always be hot and delicious. My only suggestion would be that dairy queen should have more coupons, or a theme night like some of their competitors. I would definitely be down for that!!!! read more

This is a newer store and in really good shape. Everything is clean. Our order was taken quickly and the food was very fresh and hot. I only didn't give 5 starts because they messed up on both of our blizzards. They did fix them both but it definitely made it take longer than we planned. Blizzards are always messy to where they get all over my opinion but they should be capped when dealing with drive thru .the way the girl handled putting my order in the bag messy . The employees at this location are not very professional, which was not a great start. We ordered a blizzard and and a hot fudge sundae. The sundae was a medium and placed in a mini sized cup that stood about 6 inches over the cup, so all the hot fudge was at the very bottom. Super disappointing read more
