Right as I pulled in, there was an employee walking back from behind the dumpster picking up his pants. I was hoping he wasn't the only employee working there, but unfortunately, i'm assuming he was because he was the one who took my order . After he took my order and I met him at the window. I saw that he was covered in sweat and his shirt was covered in stains, he put the lid cover on my drink with no gloves on. This was very unprofessional and the whole thing just honestly grossed me out. This location needs to hire more staff and have more health inspections. Because it looked really unsanitary. Don't go here unless it's your only resort. They are filthy. The inside is disgusting and the people that work there are disgusting. Restroom is has gnats all over the wall, there's probably a nest in there. The cook is back there with no gloves, preparing your food and touching everything bare hands. I'm finally venturing out a little more and eating at the restaurants vs delivery. Last week, I stopped by and ate at the restaurant. Ordered the DUDE, and it was just amazing. Probably been a year since I sat and ate a burger freshly prepared. I chalked it up to the fact that it didn't sit in an Uber car for 40 minutes before getting to me and that is why it was so good. Now a week later i went through the drive through and again the food and service was outstanding. This is DQ so you most likely know what it's all about. We only live a mile from the location but I was still impressed how hot the food was. Because of two great visits in a row, I thought I would post. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be. 5s. Worst Dairy Queen I've been to by far. They are never consistent in flavor and customer service is poor. On my recent trip I ordered a Royal cheesecake blizzard for my daughter and myself. There were no strawberries and the ice cream tasted like it didn't have cream in it. I've ordered this several times before and they got it right. This time it was awful. Best DQ I've ever had! We order two 4 pc baskets of steak fingers, chicken and dumplings soup, a burrito, and mini sugar cookie blizzard as well as some extra gravy and chili and cheese on the side. The food was incredibly hot and held well thru a 15 min drive that it was still hot when we got home. The gentleman who took our order was incredibly polite and kind. We got unsweetened tea and it didn't taste old. We weren't missing anything and had cutlery and condiments packed in our bag. I would highly recommend this Dairy Queen and will be back! read more

What can I say about Dairy Queen? It is classic, and I remember eating at this chain when I was a kid; road tripping with my parents. Much of the offerings are still available. My favorites are still the 1/4 lb burger (Hungr- buster), the steak fingers with cream gravy and Texas toast and their crispy tacos. I came here several times with a friend who apparently knows the owner or manager, because he ordered a Halal hamburger. I hope that I did not disclose a secret, but I was impressed. The manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating. The food here is cooked fresh, so there is a short wait, but it is well worth it. The ice cream options at the end also make this very unique. The blizzard (mix-in) was fantastic (I love the Heath bar). I also saw Orange Julius on the menu. That also brings back childhood memories when it was a free standing store, but that is for a different time. Overall, I am giving it 5 stars because the quality and freshness of the food was as I remembered and expected. Not fancy, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This model is still popular and the folks in the store seemed to be happy with their food and service. read more

Every small town in Texas has a DQ. This one happens to be by my house a couple of miles down the road and I have always enjoyed going to lunch here when I feel like it. No matter if you're in the big city, or on a road trip. It's always nice to come in here for lunch, or dessert. Many options to choose from. I usually get a burger meal deal at lunchtime. It comes with fries and a drink. There are several burgers on the menu with different flavors, and they all have a special name for them. I am looking forward to trying their signature burgers next time I have a bite to eat when I am here. The fries are ok; they are breaded a little extra than McDonald's or Whataburger's fries, but they're always good to have on the side. The drink sizes are reasonable, and the mediums feel like larges. A meal deal is about $6-7 but it's always good to try the burgers here and the good tasting fries. On other days, I come for dessert. The blizzards, dipped cones, and ice cream have always been cold, sweet treats that I have eyed ever since I became a fan of DQ. I got the Oreo mint blizzard last time I was here. There are many flavors to choose from their blizzard menu. I recommend going for the small or medium max, because I can never finish a large blizzard. Be prepared to get a small brain freeze. The dipped cones are delicious too: ice cream cones with chocolate melted onto vanilla ice cream. I had one last night at a DQ in Westchase, and boy they're always a good dessert after any meal. So if you want a good dessert, stop at any DQ and they'll take care of you. I always have loved the dessert menu here, as well as their meals whenever I am hungry. It's a growing chain in the state of Texas, and it will forever be one of my favorite dessert places to stop at on the road or in the city. read more

When you are in a bit of a hurry and you need quick and easy convenience food, Dairy Queen is the way to go, Im not much of one for Macdonalds or Burger king to me there is no taste and your pay cheap to get cheap, but that's not the case at Dairy queen. I love the jalito Ranch hunger buster meal and for when you have a real hunger on the milkshakes are amazing. The staff are normally younger adults but this does not effect the service as I always find them to be polite and efficient. Good Job DQ!!! read more

Irritatingly bad. The menu is very small compared to other locations - didn't have promotional items, or some of the classics. My blizzard was poorly done - don't know how you can mess that up, but they did. It wasn't mixed well, and had very little fillings mixed in it. Also, it was half-melted in two minutes. My car wasn't hot, the dang ice cream just wasn't kept cold. I had to re-freeze my blizzard "soup" before I could eat it. Only saving grace - the staff seemed nice. We LOVE THIS PLACE! These guys are always so sweet, and personally nice, to my wife, myself, the daddy, and my daughter. They will go out of their way to serve you the ice-cream treats, after your meal. We love the tacos, chicken strips, gravy, toast, baskets, chees-burgers, these guys are great, and their onion rings, and huge fries, are to bat. The guys are always personable, friendly, try to save you money on your food ticket, and it's just a great place to splurge on a goody once and awhile. This is located located approx 1 block west of jones rd. Went to drive thru for after dinner dessert for myself and son. I asked the attendant for just a min so my son could pick a Flavor for his blizzard. Microphone was very grumbled I couldn't hear him well but I believe he kept saying ok. Over and over about 10 times. It took him awhile to come to window I had correct change and a $20. He only took the $20 while I still have my hand out to giving him the coins. I had to get his attention 3 times till he turned around. He looked very disoriented and checked out. Like I do after A visit to the dentist for wisdom teeth to be pulled. Took him a good minute to give me bills. My change was only bills so it was like first grade math. Then he didn't turn my blizzards over when I got them. But if he did they would have slid out. Extremely runny for a frozen blizzard. So pretty disappointed in that. So they wouldn't spill in the truck I asked for two lids. He hands me flat lids. I said I wanted the blizzard lid. The dome lid that I have always gotten with a blizzard. He said no these are blizArd lids. I am giving this two stars only because the brownie batter was good . But the rest of my experience there with a doped up kid giving me a milkshake brownie batter was horrible. No wonder the place was empty.
