But I really appreciated the two people working -- despite the crowd and the rush, they kept things moving smoothly, stayed upbeat, and were kind enough to let us ask a few questions and try some samples. I love that they give you the option to build your own creation, but also offer pre-made sundaes if you're indecisive. I got a cone cup with two scoops (though I'm pretty sure I was blessed with a little extra just for being friendly!), plus a sundae, and I want to say it came out to maybe $20 -- if that. They also had a display near the entrance with a variety of sweets I almost missed. I grabbed a chocolate-covered peanut butter ball and... yumm to the e! Highly recommend this spot. The setup is very similar to other cafes and their ice cream display was very nice. They have some interesting flavors like Hokey Pokey and we were able to get some samples which were all good. Myself and another opted for the 2 scoop cup and i got Hokey Pokey and the hazelnut chocolate (forgot the real name) and they were very good... but I was put off by one thing. Both of us got 2 different flavors and were charged a dollar more for it. That seems like a rip off and honestly left a bad taste. I thought it'd be a good option compared to Jeni's, but not with pricing like that. The scoops were also considerably smaller than Jeni's and Jeni's is a better deal and a better ice cream in my opinion. I'm not a fan of getting nickel and dimesd for something that shouldn't cost more. I'm sorry it took so much effort to scoop from another flavor. I won't do it again.

I haven't been to Brewster's in a little while, but since I've been gone they've apparently raised the price 2-3 dollars a pint and lowered the ingredients to about a sneeze worth of toppings. If you can't afford to keep this location running, sell it. I'm not paying 9 dolllars for a pint of barely passable Vanilla again.

I was hesitant to try this place, mostly the long line of cars will usually make me look for something less busy. Service was very good with very receptive staff who were good at proving answers. The ice cream came in an unusual number of flavors - I think most of it was Mayfield so you'll be familiar with most of the base flavors. The pistachio I tried was good and not terribly sweet, a pet peeve of mine. The orange vanilla swirl tasted just like a dreamcycle but very sweet. Overall the ice cream was good if not exceptional, the service exceptional. Most are in their parked cars but there are also picnic tables that appeared clean and well maintained. Next time I'll try a sundae as they looked to be very popular.
