I've been here 3 times and every time I left disappointed. Needless to say I won't come back again. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They are dirty looking wearing open shoes and long beard and oily filthy hair Loose and worn down. Second, they treat their employees rude and yell and humiliate especially the young kids working for them. I have been there and experienced screaming matches between owners wife and young employee. Dairy Queen! Is my favorite ice cream shop ever...I even worked at a Dairy Queen when I was 16! But this one? Terrible customer service. The employees do not know the menu. To top it all off, they would not accept a gift card of mine. They would only take a printed piece of paper, not a gift card number. After chatting for awhile they would not budge, and would not accept the gift card. I'm sorry but this is 2016, what kind of store does not accept a gift card? I've been coming to this Dairy Queen ever since I was a fetus inside my mothers womb. Even though she knew it would possibly result in a labor that could compare to the Michelin Man's mother, she paid it no mind (and that's the story of my name). Ice cream has been my favorite lunch and dinner companion since then, and now that I live about 1 block away from this place (I promise it wasn't on purpose...or was it?) I think my relationship with this Dairy Queen was truly meant to be. Since being faithful is expected in a relationship, regular stops and engorging large portions of their deliciousness is a must. Seriously, I am also giving a shout-out to this ice cream shop because the owner of this particular store is not only one of the sweetest and funniest dudes around, but is also a philanthropist, and his stores charitable works can be regularly seen displayed in the shop. read more

As far as Dairy Queens go, this is one of my favorite stores. They throw far more creativity into their cakes than other DQs (or any other store in Miami that makes ice cream cakes). They make better Blizzards with the perfect balance of mixings to ice cream (I.e. no piles of plain ice cream at the bottom). And the best part... The employees. Most of the folks have been at this location for years. They are always smiling and seem to be super happy with their work. I think they know how happy they make the Blizzard lovers! read more

This is the second time I had such a horrible experience at this Diary Queen. The owner of this store is the rudest human being I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. When ordering through the drive through I said " I would like a vanilla soft serve" to which his response should be in a cup or a cone. Instead, his response was "you want it in your hand" excuse me? He again said " do you want it in your hand" I said no in a cone. To which his super rude response was " that's better" . This is the second and last time I go to this place. A Dairy Queen is a Dairy Queen. But I think this is one of the best. If you get the owner to take your order, you will have a blast with him. He is soooo nice and always cracking jokes. He has his days and I've seen him cranky. But the majority of the time he is awesome. They also give back a lot to the community, you will see it displayed all over the store. read more

Came in for some quick blizzards so we stopped by the drive-thru. Immediately, the service was great. They took our order, repeated the order back to us before sending us to the window, (which always helps clarify they took the order correctly) & voila off to the window we go. When we got to the window, someone noticed we had our dog in the backseat and they asked if it would be alright to give him a pup cup. Sounding so cute and enticing (& my dog was being such a good boy) I said yes & they gifted our little guy the perfect serving of delicious soft serve vanilla ice cream. At the window, as we were waiting on our blizzards, there were other employees passing by, and they would always acknowledge us with a hello or a smile. Overall, the experience was excellent. We were so excited to get a blizzard cake for our sons 9th bday. We special ordered in advance for a noon pickup, and even had someone from the store confirm the order. The store showed they were open at noon on Saturday, so we showed up and found they were closed until 2pm! Our sons party would be ending by then. I too have been going here since I was a teenager and i'm now 40. However, I will never be back. After years of taking my money and patronizing this place The owner (Oh sorry, the owners husband) Tim showed his true colors when he was in danger of losing $5. My son and I had just ordered $12 worth of ice cream and my brother in law and 9 year old niece were ordering theirs (about another $12). Long story short my niece believed her ice cream came with chocolate ice cream and she wanted to know if she could change it. After going to the back to ask "the manager" she was sternly told no, that they had already made the ice cream and that they can't exchange it. I then stepped in and asked why and was told the manger said no. I asked to speak with him and then asked him myself after explaining that she mistakenly thought it came with chocolate ice cream. This guy was so rude, arrogant and non-accommodating by telling me that "we already made the ice cream and she had to ask for it before it was made"..I asked if he could just exchange it that she's a child and wasn't paying attention and he told me "if i do it for you I have to do it for everyone". That was the biggest cop out (which I told him to his face) and that I've been going there for years and if that's the way he would treat a loyal customer? It didn't faze him and he refused so I told him that I would never spend another dime in his store. His response was "well i thank you for your business" in such a condescending way and he was totally OK with losing a customer over replacing a $5 ice cream (much less for his actual cost). I run my own business and am by no means an expert but simple customer service 101 would tell you that you are better off replacing that one ice cream as compared to losing hundreds or thousands in future sales. I recently had a bad experience at an upscale restaurant in which they offered to have us back for a complimentary dinner and this person could not replace such a cheap item? That's why I will be back to that restaurant again because of their customer service and never again to this dairy Queen. I don't normally eat dairy but when I do...I eat at this Dairy Queen. Blizzards have been my sweet dark lord master for many years. They really hit the spot. That spot in my belly. I mostly use the drive through but occasionally I will stop in for the Blizzanity! The toppings are good and plenty and the seasonal specials are also good. The service is always good. They always seem to know when to mess with me. I usually get caught off guard with their jokes but it is super fun. Santa...er I mean the jolly bearded dude is funny as hell. I always go there to get my fix and it doesn't help that it is conveniently located near my home. The only problem is...do I eat this yummy ice cream on the way home while driving or do I wait. Anyway, this place is highly recommended by me. My favorite is the Sunday night drive thru before my favorite tv shows. read more
