My friends and I came to this location to get lunch on December 20th. We received very uncomfortable and inappropriate comments from the men working. They were looking each one of us up and down, multiple times before handing us our orders. One of them asked if we were in high school and when we said we were all in college, he replied with "So yall are of age." Starting it seems that the word "kindness" is not in his vocabulary, the way that he outrageously treats most of the employees (the ones he doesn't have a preference with) feels very unprofessional for somebody who's supposed to be in charge of everything in the restaurant, the way he looks at people, just looking like he's disgusted from them, including me and my 2 daughters who felt this way as well. I got there at 8:40 and they are all pissed off because I'm an inconvenience to there night. As we walked in the Dairy Queen the lights were low dimmed and it smelled strange. There was a line and we got bypassed by many people waiting. We then stood there for 15 minutes to order. The service was strange as were the servers. The servers were intrusive on our conversations and were mentally checked out. When we ordered the food didn't take long to get out. When it came out the food was inedible. The chicken was hot but tasted lousy. The French fries were soggy and cold; as for the bread that was soggy, tasteless, and not toasted. The gravy was gelatinous, cold, and tasteless. When we got our ice cream our dipped cones were already melted and the coating wasn't covering the whole cone. As for our sundae it had low hot fudge, and was tasteless. Overall, the whole experience was terrible and we won't be returning. I asked for more and they lied and said there were six in the bag when there were none. I'm not sure what to say about this particular Dairy Queen that hasn't already been said about Dairy Queen in general. It has fast-food burgers that are above mediocre. The fries are all right. I personally like the jalitos. Blizzards are great on a hot Texas day, and there are always fun seasonal flavors - some better than others. Like most fast food, this particular DQ is usually run by teenagers. They usually mix up one item per order, especially if you have a coupon. They're better about it when you order inside than when coming through the drive-through. The inside is reasonably clean, from floors to restroom. It meets your expectations for the price. read more

Don't waste your money. This place is poorly ran and the service is horrible. My wife and I had sweet tooth. She got a chocolate shake, which was adequate. I got a reese peanut butter blizzard with extra topping. It was melty as could be when I got it.. looked like they left it under a heat lamp for 30 seconds before they gave it to me. I can deal with the meltiness.. But i couldn't deal with paying for extra topping and finding hardly any topping in my blizzard. There wasn't but a few pieces of peanut butter cup and some other specs. Just depressing.. It's the only DQ around and its a waste of space. Visiting grandkids again and my grandson and I stopped by for a quick dinner and dessert. My chicken fingers were pretty good but the fries were not hot enough or crunchy. Kind of limp.
