Amongst the local area, this Daiso is the roomiest store that I know of. If being indoors during COVID times concerns your, this is the store to come shop at. The inventory is pretty good. I find it to vary significant from visit to visit. I have been here in the past when it had looked nearly empty. Today's visit is pretty good. The shelves were stocked though sparse at places. I never go into a Daiso hoping to find something. I am bound to leave broken hearted. Having said, I will point out a few treasures at this store. 1. Origami Papers They have a huge selection and who doesn't love these pretty little squares of art. Especially with lots of indoor times, it's a great way to have some fun. 2. Kitchenware This is one of their better stocked departments. The foldable strainers (small size) are only $1.50. I can't possibly find that at such a price anywhere else. 3. Branded goods Especially with Sanrio, Daiso in Japan has an immense partnership with Sanrio. For the Sanrio fans, it's a treasure hunt in every Daiso. For poor folks in the U.S., not so much. By chance, I spotted a kids cup with My Melody. That's almost like finding gold here. LOL Happy wandering and hunting. Lots of unexpected for a mere $1.50 (or more).

I love this sweet bread, Hokkaido tennenkobo bread. I love the maple, they have so many flavors, like chocolate, green tea, cream.

I really love Daiso, they have so many out of the ordinary items that I actually need and wouldn't know where to find. For example, I'm a hobbyist baker and pastry maker, often giving stuff to friends, and Daiso has so many things that I need, like spatulas, one use pastry bags and tips, squishy bottles, small to-go containers, plastic bags for gifts, parchment paper, you name it. Then they have all sorts of things from kitchen items, gardening, cosmetics, stationery, pottery, food treats, and more. And did I say that it's cheap?

We don't have a Daiso sadly in Atlanta...this was my first Daiso experience and I throughly enjoyed it. I especially love the cat theme dishes, stationary and stickers. They also have these laundry mesh bags that you put all your delicates in and the zipper doesn't unzip during the wash because the way it is designed...I bought 5 of them. I also like their tiny perfume spray thingie that you can use when you travel instead of bringing the whole dang bottle. Best part...got a bunch of stuff for under $20....sweet!

It's great that there is a Daiso on the Eastside! This particular location is rather spacious and feels much more comfortable to shop at. Staff was very cheerful during my visit too. A wide range of household and stationary goods can be found here for a cheap price. Pricing has slowly risen over the years from $1.00 and now $1.50 is the default. There also is a price conversion chart that goes up to $15. I come here to buy goods that I have difficulty finding in general stores or because it is a better price for roughly the same quality. Location is conveniently in Crossroads Bellevue. Remember to bring your own bags; otherwise a paper bag costs $0.20.

The service is exceptional. They have a great selection. The value that I pay for what I bought is a bit higher than your regular retailers on some items, but some are lower.

It's fun to see Daiso! Most of items are $1.50 and some items are more. Their packages written in Japanese & English. You'll see very clean and lots of merchandise when you enter the store. All kinds useful your house items or cars or living items. You may lose your mind and getting something.... I did it all the time. I honesty tell you that some items are doesn't work and cannot return or exchange...cash only under $5.

This is the newest Daiso location in the Seattle area. It is located at Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue in the space of a former furniture store. Given the former tenant, it is by far the largest space for a Daiso in these parts. The Westlake and International District locations in Seattle could easily fit into this one. I would say this one is more than twice the size of both of those branches. The best comparison for a Daiso of this size is the one at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond, BC. Though it does not quite match up as that store is two stories and a bigger space than this one. However, the prices are lower here as all items are $1.50 unless otherwise marked. While the Canada store is $2. I did happen to visit both the Bellevue and Richmond stores within a span of a few days and have to say the selection is better in Canada. However when comparing to the Seattle locations, the Bellevue store is a big improvement. What I like the most about this location is that the aisles are bigger than the other locations in Seattle. The spacing at those locations made you feel like you were shopping in Japan. While this one in Bellevue feels spaced out. Not to mention it is clean, organized and the store is well lit. I am glad to have a Daiso nearby on the Eastside now. I will definitely check here for household goods before looking elsewhere and likely paying more for the same item.

This month Habitat for Humanity store- Bellevue was selected, and what a fantastic day I had getting to know the team and volunteering. I was initially saddened to learn we wouldn't be helping build a project, but once the store team provided insight on how the donations, volunteers, and purchases from customers help make those projects happen I grew overly excited. I was pleasantly stunned at how much inventory was on hand, but especially the great quality. Many of the items for sale were brand new, and priced unbelievably low regardless of the branded name. Whatever your reason maybe for considering to shop at this location just know the Bellevue team really care and take great pride in ensuring all items are checked, cleaned, and sanitized before placing on the floor for sale. I have plans to not only donate, but volunteer and shop here again; I highly recommend!

UPDATE APRIL 29, 2026:…read more REJECTED DONATIONS LEAVE ME DEJECTED I'm downgrading my rating of Redmond Goodwill from four stars to two stars because I had recently been told that they no longer accept e-waste electronics, except for computers, printers, TVs, and related electronics. But small appliances like microwaves, blenders, lamps, etc. that are not working or incomplete are no longer accepted as scrap. Likewise for scrap metal and plastic hangers. DELAYED REJECTION ENFORCEMENT = CHAOTIC/DISORGANIZED HANGER HANGUP I donated to this Goodwill literally hundreds of times over several years. They had always accepted all manner of scrap electronics, scrap metal, and all clothes hangers. When I tell them that, I'm told this had been the policy for some time, but only now they're beginning to enforce this "new" policy. This is not the first time this has happened. Also I was told hangers should be organized according to the various types of hangers. Huh? I see donations piled high and deep on either side of the two donation lanes in no particular order. And also they load up those blue carts in no particular order. And now they expect everything to be organized, or just hangers? LET US KNOW ON SITE, NOT JUST ON YOUR WEBSITE Now I will have to find someplace else to get rid of scrap small appliances, scrap metal, and plastic hangers, to keep them from going to the landfill. Though it is good that they spell out what they accept and do not accept on their website, it also would be very helpful to stick a sign out where they post their donation hours saying "we are no longer accepting (fill-in).", and leave it there for a while.

I mean it's always nice to take the time and search for the special color of the day and it's easy to locate and the customer service and the cashiers are all really nice. The items are great, but definitely on the overpriced side. I think they're really taking advantage of the area that we're living in because in other areas the prices are not so high for the same items.

Since then, it has moved to Crossroads into the former Barnes & Noble space across from QFC and has updated its official name to World Market. The first impressions of the store mentioned before still are valid. It has a great selection of home decor, kitchen supplies and specialty food items. Particularly international foods that are hard to find elsewhere. The location itself is a lot more convenient as it is closer to my home than the other location, which is a huge plus. However, I knocked a star as it can be hard to determine the current stock of products at the store when checking online. I have made numerous online purchases on the website for store pickup as they offer a discount for this option. However, I have experienced many instances when a product I ordered was unavailable even though the website said it was. Particularly on items where the stock shows that there are a few left. If you order online, just be aware that the store may not have it available, especially if the website says they are close to selling out.

Yup, it takes them 3 hours to fill my order with two items, and one of them is out of stock but they didn't update it on my pickup notification. I went in, waited in line for it. Then when it was my turn, the cashier was gonna help me out but someone else came to line up, so she told me she has to help her first. So I had to wait for her to finish the order first before she could fetch my stuff in the back. When that was done, she went to the back and brought me one of them items. They weren't gonna give me a receipt so I had no clue the other item was out of stock, so I asked her where that is.. then someone else came and she had to help her first of course, so I waited forever for her to go to the back.. and eventually she came back and told me the item was out of stock so they didn't charge for it. I had no notification of that, so I asked for a copy of that piece of paper with the info, then she told me to take a pix. . It's weird how disconnected and inefficient this whole pickup process is. And the fact that I had to keep waiting for other people is highly unacceptable and the whole process took 20 minutes or more .. this is my first time placing an online order, and also the last time.
