I came to this store yesterday afternoon, two Asian cashiers there are extremely insolent and rude naturally in working - especially the young girl with sunglasses. They look down buyers, treat buyers like beggers ! I think if they hate their jobs, hate customers of Daiso or they assume that they should stand in higher level than their poorly present position, then they must go out to leave the customer service for someone who knows and understands how to behave to customers. This place seriously has everything you would need! AND MORE. I hate going here because I know I'll always end up leaving with more stuff than I actually need. But everything's so cheap! There are so many cute Japanese things here and they're so irresistible. I recently bought magnetic tape here for $1.50 while at other stores they're like $4. I always find things here that much cheaper if I were to buy them elsewhere. I also recently bought magnets, luggage belts, a laundry basket, and other random stuff. And I don't feel so guilty leaving the store with so many things since the total is so affordable! read more

I've heard about Daiso Japan stores before from my church friends. When I stepped in this store, I was quite impressed by the ways the merchandise was displayed and the clean and colorful interior of the store. I meant to take a quick look to see what kind of things the store carries, but ended up buying half a dozen things including a shower cutain rod. Although most of the little decorative, office and kitchen things were $1.50, the white plastic curtain rod was $6.00. I know similar thing cost almost twice as much more at larger department stores. I found out that the quality of the merchandise was considerably better than those sold at the 99Cents Only stores and most of the items were made in Japan. The working crew were very kind and helpful. If you are planning to buy some inexpensive but nice gift items for a group of kids at church or school, this is a good place to visit. read more

Yes another Daiso location. Cheap price!! Every location is different, but they carry most of the items the same. Overall fun shopping time, and yes don't expect to see all MADE IN JAPAN items. Most of the items are MADE IN CHINA. $1.50 can't go wrong. Tons of household items, and toys for the kids and pets. If you haven't visited a Daiso store, go check it out!! I wish I'd known of this store earlier. I love it, found such cute girlie stuff that I love for $1.50! I even found an eyebrow pencil for that price. Granted, I usually use Anastasia Beverly Hills and spend so much on make up and face products, that usually an eyebrow pencil costs me at least $25, so paying $1.50 for something that actually works was amazing! I absolutely love this store. They have such cute little nick knacks. I always come here when I'm in the area and always buy the almond pocky and a few bottles of Ramene and every once in awhile I'll buy the cute little bowels and decorated cop sticks or some decorated socks. Normally i would have to drive all the way to los Angeles before Daiso and Mitsuwa started popping up around orange county. There were other little stores but they never met the bar that i personally had set for a good experience even when they had some of the same things. Also the best part about it is it's cheap cheap cheap. Everything is $1.50 or $1.75 i forgot which one it is unless it is marked but pretty much 85% of the things they have are not marked. Daiso always meets my expectations. I love it and will keep coming here. read more

I'm a hardcore Daiso fan when I first discovered it in the Bay Area almost 10 years ago. I go regularly to my local spot and always stock up on their fabulous eyebrow pencils, one brand is suuuper close to the Anastasia one. But coming to this particular location was a huge letdown. It's smaller than most and it was barely stocked. It didn't have the wide variety of items, as well as just the shelves being bare in general. For example, my local one has 2 different brands of eyebrow pencils, with two shades each. This one only carried one type and color. Not as many different types of fake eyelashes too. The school and art supplies was lacking as well. No chalkboard pens in several different colors, fun mechanical pencils, or decorative and cute colored pens. Where's all the stationary?! My kids were looking for their brand clay to make slime. And there wasn't anything- it didn't appear that they ran out, they just don't have it in stock. I was really scratching my head in wonder walking up down the aisles because there was hardly anything!!! read more

For anyone who's never been to Daiso, it's a bunch of Japanese goods/products at $1.50 each (unless otherwise stated) Basically Japan's equivalent of the 99 cent store. If you're not careful, the final cost can totally rack up haha Their products can be a hit and miss. I mean really, just be smart about what you buy and understand that you will go through trial and error. (ps, they are Japanese goods, but some of products were made in China and Korea... in case anyone was wondering) I went here during the Grand Opening so it was pretty hectic and full of people. Loud people. I've only gone to the Daiso in Irvine and for the most part I think they are the same size (I've heard that the other stores are a lot smaller than Irvine) For the most part, they have almost everything that the Irvine store did (and I'm sure all the other stores carry the same things) The layout is different from Irvine's, that is a given. My biggest complaint: the store is slightly narrow and long which is a con for the front register. If the line gets long, you find yourself in front of the aisle where everyone wants to walk through, then it becomes cramp and kind of uncomfortable. Oh and there's only one line! There are no separate lines for cash/credit. So depending on how you look at it, it can be a pro or a con. Despite it being busy, it was well maintained, there was always a worker organizing the merch. The workers in general, were pretty nice, on a busy morning like that, I think they did well. LOL My boyfriend and I purchased a micro usb charging cable and a few other things, the sections were labeled so we in and out without getting too distracted by everything else.. This store is just like the Daiso stores in Japan! The only thing is it's a little more expensive. The Daisos in Japan are 100 yen and here everything is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. But they sell just about the same things! Everything from socks to kitchen utensils to plastic bins to candy and drinks and all the little gadgets! Japan has a gadget for everything! Sometimes you can find things for a purpose you would never think something would exist for. Too bad there wasn't a store like this closer to home! read more

Super good deals! the cashier could have been friendlier but thats alright! they had all sorts of stuff that were pretty fair quality considering it's a dollar store, but not everything is a dollar. I ended up spending about 70$ here for school supplies and little gifts for friends read more

This store is like a n upscale Japanese 99 cent store. The selection is amazing and so are the prices. Workers are helpful and friendly.

Store is clean and well lighted. The items are inexpensive, food, household, some craft and other useful items. Your Japanese version of a dollar store but clean, useful items, and on that my wife loves. I tolerate it because it is clean and practical, otherwise shopping with my wife is like a death sentence. Staff are unfriendly, lack of customer service and rude. We came here at three different occasions. We had staff turn off the lights in the store as their means to have customers leave during closing. We had our cashier stuffing all our purchases into a single plastic bag. Cashier rolled her eyes and displayed her attitude when I asked for a double bag for the heavy merchandise. This are unbelievably bad customer service! My daughter was upset and she wrote the following... This is the last time. If I see that attitude I will say your parents did not teach you good attitude about customer service. Also if my mom accidentally drop the fragile merchandise I will tell you to clean that very bad mess! You dont need to be a grouch just because you had a bad day. And if you be grouchy and rude to my mom I will say to you "LOOK AT YOUR ATTITUDE !" read more

David was especially helpful in helping me find some small household items I was looking for. This place is great to stop by at when you're bored and need something to do as there will always be something in this store (or all Daisos) that will interest you. This specific store didn't have the card holders that I found at the Daiso in Huntington Beach, but I did find an earwax picker that lights up! Very cool! read more
