A very large modern space, this Daiso in Garden Grove is one of at least ten in Orange County. They seem to be continuing a rapid expansion, especially in the SoCal area. My wife and I have found their product quality to be very good (definitely better than US Dollar Stores), albeit at quite a bit more expensive prices: now at $2.25 for their lowest priced items. The words 'Quality', 'Value', 'Uniqueness', 'Variety', 'Quality' (repeated) seems to be their mantra. It's similar to World Market's slogan: "Unique, authentic, and always affordable". The store was well stocked and we found quite a few things we needed. Most products sold here are Daiso specific items, so prices are either pre-labeled by the manufacturer (in Japanese Yen) or assumed to be $2.25 if unmarked. There are self-checkout lines along with one cashier keeping things moving.

This playhouse was charged 4 times. So please be aware of shady people.

I just came out of the store, and the Spanish lady at the check out charged me 3 extra toys item that were not in the list. I hope it was just a mistake.

Decent location! I've been to almost every Daiso in Orange County and this one is pretty standard to the others. They have the same selection and prices -- nothing special. The selection isn't bad, but they also didn't have what I was looking for while another Daiso did. However, the workers are really nice and the shop is quite spacious. Everything was also very organized. Same as other Daisos and we'll definitely be coming back!

Cheryl's first time here! So Cute! People from Hawaii don't have access to Daiso, which is like a Japanese 99 Cents store, except that most items are $1.50. It's just amazing to us...all of these cute things and lots of practical items...are so inexpensive! This makes shopping so much fun! We started looking at the seasonal items (Valentine's Day), then zig zagged through the organized, well-lit, air conditioned, clean, spacious store. We saw household goods, artificial flowers, tote bags, art supplies, greeting cards, snacks, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, socks, accessories, t-shirts, dishes, pet toys, and more! Thanks to Belle for taking Roz, Cheryl, and me! That was a really fun, unplanned excursion! We didn't know that there was a Daiso so close to Disneyland!

I Love this store! They have, - Stationery - Health + Beauty - Japanese - kitchen + Dining designs and unique kind of value simply cannot be compared to other dollar stores. It"s convenient if your looking for quick cute gift! Can't complain

My expired drink which should never be on the shelf ever!!

This one star review is for whoever is in charge of the food area I visited this Daiso yesterday to buy some storage boxes and on the way out decided to grab some snacks and drinks. The employees working were friendly and quick. When I got home, I went to grab this drink that I never had before and wanted to try it out, ONLY TO FIND THAT IT WAS EXPIRED ALREADY! To whoever is in charge of the food area, do your job. I'm pretty sure selling things that are expired isn't a part of it. Just to make sure too, I had to double check all of the snacks in order to make sure that it wasn't expired. Luckily nothing else was but somethings were pretty close. Honestly, as someone who has shopped here for years now and never had any issues with their food before, I don't know if someone new took it over or what, but it's straight up unacceptable. I know before whenever I would go here, it would be a short Filipino girl with glasses that would be working there but I haven't seen her in months anymore so it's probably someone else now, but whoever it is now, I hope you see this. This one star is for you.

    VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE : TRUNG!

ONE STAR FOR SPECIFIC EMPLOYEE: Trung Daiso really needs to check up on their employees about customer service. I have never been in a daiso with such terrible customer service. There was one employee in particular that left us baffled. His name is Trung. He was extremely rude when we had asked if the visor that was on display / that they were advertising was on sale. He said they didn't have anymore so when we had asked if we can purchase the one on display, his excuse was that they're using it for shade on their windows. It was clearly just an excuse since it barely keeps the sun out of their establishment. We put all our stuff back and decided to spend our money at another Daiso. Someone please check up on trung and tell him to not treat their customers like trash just because they are a darker colored skin than you. I am not sure why they would advertise something they no longer have! He could have simply put a different colored visor up.

I wish I had missed The first time That I shopped Cuz I broke all my promises. And now Im back I am back to buy me some more. True dat!! I wish I never layed eyes on you. This is the second location Ive been to. And I bought thing 1, thing 2 and thing 3 and thing 4. Did you know they had a thing 5 too because I bought that too. Everything, well almost everything is $1.50 unless marked. And there are no returns. No ifs, buts no interrupts. Zero return policy. Ziltch, zero the end. So the more you know, stay away. No, Im just kidding. You want to come here and find something cool. And spend a lot of money. If you have kids, give them a ten dollar bill and let them go crazy. Yay, Im a fan.

Visited July 2, 2016 Love this store and their prices!! It's amazing some of the stuff you see. Everything is $1.50 unless price as marked. Great for last minute Christmas shopping, especially for your child. Some of the stuff here I have never even seen before! The merchandise is so interesting! We bought quite a bit of junk food and some drinks that we've never seen or tasted before. We went crazy over the matcha stuff. You can buy stuff for your kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely shop here often if there was one closer to my home. Plenty of free parking.

The Starbucks here is pretty good btw :) This store is definitely always filled with tourists from Disneyland, but that can't be helped. BUT, the good thing about that, is they are always refilling their snack/fresh food area. Also there is plenty of Disney merch here for sale. What definitely sets this Target from the others in north OC is the cleanliness; the floor seems to always be swept and cleaned.

What I don't love is that they added locked cabinets and now makes it inconvenient to get simple stuff like undergarments and some make up . I know it's because of people stealing prob too much , it just sucks but I honestly just do pick up order for those certain items now . I've honestly never had issues with customer service here and usually my drive up pick ups are fast and easy . I've been very satisfied with this location aside from sharing my target with tourist year around bc makes the lines way longer . I've been living by this target last 10 years and it's improved ALOT and they even made it bigger a few years ago . All the improvements have made it a better store and experience . There is also a Starbucks inside that u can use your Starbucks app, unfortunately it's not on the app to order pick up. BUT when u order target pick up , there is an option to add a Starbucks order which is pretty cool .

Some aisles are well-stocked, while others look picked over, so it can be frustrating if you're in a hurry. On the plus side, the prices are hard to beat, and you can occasionally find some solid deals if you're willing to dig. The staff is okay--polite enough, but you can't always count on getting much help when the store is busy. Overall, Ross is fine if you're hunting for a bargain and don't mind the effort, but it's not the most consistent shopping experience. Three stars because it's average: some wins, some misses.

I didn't catch the lady's name but she was the one at the end of the self checkout taking the white tags off. So whatever you know my sister and I go to get the white tags removed and she's over here accusing us of stealing/not paying for an item. We explain to her over and over again that she's wrong but she insist that she isn't. We quite literally had to count all our items over and over again for her to understand. She ended up creating a huge line at the self checkout over nothing. Completely unnecessary and waste of time. Do not recommend coming to this ross or atleast not using those self checkout systems unless you wanna waste your time with employees that can't even count.

We had kids aged 1-6 and they all loved running around here. The bathrooms are clean, there's a changing table, and there's someone keeping the areas clean and tidy even in the evenings. The only thing I'd improve is that many of the open eating areas don't have good visibility of the play areas, especially after dark. It would be nice to have more seating closer to the play areas. Another idea is to switch the location of the sandbox with one of the teepees, since kids seem to congregate there but the view is blocked unless you're sitting in the teepees. It would also be great if the view from the long tables on the deck near the teepees and sandbox wasn't obscured by bushes. Finally, it would feel safer to have the overall area fully gated instead of an open entrance where kids could potentially slip out. Excited for how this will continue to grow and benefit the community!

One area that needs improvement is the restroom facilities for families with young children. During a recent visit, my son needed an urgent diaper change, and there was no changing table in the men's restroom. I had to take him out to the car to change him instead and because of how busy it gets and limited parking options it was a long walk both ways. Adding a changing table to the men's restroom would make a big difference for fathers and other caregivers and would make the space more family-friendly. I enjoy coming here and hope management considers this simple but important improvement.

Always recommended friends/fam to this branch specifically. On May 28, 2026, 11:25PM I arrived after a double shift to quickly buy a bday gift. Around 11:35 PM, an older associate with gray hair approached me in the shoe department and told me they were clearing the areas? I confirmed the store closed at midnight, she said yes but still stood from a distance to watch me. Uncomfortable as heck, I rushed to grab a pair of shoes & immediately headed to checkout. While waiting in line I decided to grab a gift bag in-front of the registers, from across the floor - I see the same associate sprinting over towards me loudly saying, "Ma'am, you have to go, we're closed." I checked my watch, clarifying that it's 11:45, leaving a mere 15 minutes before it's actually 12am ..? What's funny is I was literally next up in line. She rolls her eyes and walks away leaving me and the kind cashier at an awkward silence? The problem is the store wasn't closed. There were still multiple customers lingering on the floor while I was already waiting in line to pay. I understand employees wanting to go home, but customers shouldn't be rushed out before the posted closing time. but this interaction made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. SUGGESTION -- If customers are expected to leave before midnight, then Burlington should post an earlier closing time. Don't advertise midnight hours if customers are going to be followed around the store asking us to leave before 12am. This will be my final visit at this branch due to the little-to-no customer service and poor time management from 1 single associate. The LITTLE TO NO UNTRAINED customer service recieved today will 100% be shared for community awareness with family/friends. Also have reported this on the main Burlington website to ensure corrective actions are taken to avoid this from happening to future consumers.
