Lots of cool stuff here! And good prices my kids love this place. But no returns or exchanges.

It's been three months and this store is still closed. The food that they have stocked on their shelves and displays are probably expired by now. I guess they're just going to keep reopening stores elsewhere and leave this place to rot? read more

This store is decent but there's definitely room for improvement. During my visit, I asked one of the cashiers in front for help in finding a watering can and I was directed to an employee in the red shirts. She seemed nice but a little clueless as well. I'm not sure if it's just her personality or if it's lack of proper training, but I want to give her the benefit of the doubt because she really did try to help. The store looked like it could use more employees because it was only the cashier and the red shirt girl, and the cashier was busy enough ringing up a long line of customers. This store is pretty big, yet there's only two people? Not even a manager/supervisor was present? I sincerely hope the other branches aren't like this. Additionally, there were boxes all over the place. I wandered around the rest of the store and saw a huge stack of boxes near the eraser area and the binder area. It was annoying because I wanted a binder near the bottom but had difficulty getting to it. All in all, the store was okay. The employees were nice but the store looked like a warehouse. Minus two stars for the layout and seemingly poor management. read more

I went to Daiso and I was pleasantly surprised to finally find Daiso clay. They had a whole slime section I definitely recommend coming here for slime supplies but call first because the don't always have it. read more

Daiso - Discount Store Near Me - San Dimas, California

I've lived in San Dimas for a few years and this store stands out from most discounted stores. My only complaint i have about this location is that stationary is always never up to par than most sections. I gave it 3 stars only because amazing staff but when asked about the manager, that person is rarely ever at the store. read more

Love this place to buy cute school supplies & random Japanese things. Kids love to pick out a toy or treat and everything is cheap! Think 99 cents store but better. Starts at $1.50 and goes to about $5, but most everything is $1.50. I drive out of my way to come here since we don't have one close by anymore... definitely worth a look. read more

I love coming to Daiso just not this one. The staff is not friendly or helpful. There is not a lot of selection compared to the another's. And every time I've come in not sure if it's just my luck but their displays are always empty. read more

Closer drive than the rest, really sucks that they messed with the grand opening (and peoples hearts). Love this place mostly for the food items like candy and drinks. Pocky sticks and Ito En milk tea drinks. read more

This Daiso is a little smaller than most I've been to, but you can still find a ton of cute, inexpensive goods. I like the selection of pens and notepads they have. They seemed to have expanded their items from the last time I came here which was a few months ago. Some items are a bit on the cheap side as far as quality, but when everything is $1.50 what do you expect. It's easy to spend a lot of money here and you find some pretty rare, but cute items as well. I highly recommend checking this little store out. read more

Cute little store where mostly everything is $1.50. I bought a few things and took the time to browse the entire store. There are some good finds in here, but I wish their food section was larger. There were some cool little things in the bakeware section that I may go back and check out. Will I frequent this place? Probably not. But for cute, cheap little items I will go back. read more

It's a smaller Daiso but it still has a good selection of items. I only wish it had a bigger variety but I still enjoy this store. It's off the 57 in the shopping center which Target is in so it's easy to find if you haven't been there. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Definitely will come back! read more

This place always makes me happy. It really brings Japan to you. The workers are always so friendly and the merch is assorted so if you really look you can find what you're looking for. I don't get what the big deal is about these stores. Mostly everything you see at this store you can get at a dollar tree or 99 cent store. I don't understand why someone would pay more for cheap crap. Maybe it's that high Japanese quality everyone is talking about. Oh wait...that's right no one is talking about it. :/ Some people really enjoy this place. I think it's because it's new. So we'll see how long it lasts after the newness wears off. read more

Drove by today (10/20/15) and it's FINALLY open. Decided to check it out during my lunch break and it's your typical daiso store. I feel like they aren't as stocked as the daiso in Torrance or Rowland heights, but I'm sure it'll get better once they get their act together. Not sure why they were closed for so long though. read more

This Daiso has great deals like any other, but the (brand new!) store is in crummy condition, with cheap and ugly shelves, scuffed flooring, and less decoration than other locations in the chain. Unfortunately there aren't any other Daiso's in the area. You may have better luck in the Orange County area, where there are plenty of high-quality Daiso locations. read more

I'm a fan of all things Japan, so I went looking for products made in Japan. Lots of stuff is from China, however, so you have to check the label for country of origin if that's important to you. What I've found in the past year that I really like: cute Japanese ceramics, small bowls and plates. Beautiful papers for origami and wrapping, some with famous classic Japanese print images. Folding fans, cute printed envelopes, miso paste, interesting spices and condiments. Cool things imported from other countries are sometimes found. They had some great Italian glassware for a while in really pretty colors. Glass beads, button cover kits. Stock doesn't turn over rapidly. I prefer the Daiso in Chino Hills, though, because it's right next to a Ranch 99 store, so you can hit two great stores in the same trip. It seems to have more interesting stock. read more

I had to share this because of my recent Daiso experience. I didn't know of this location until about a year ago. I was excited because usually I went all the way to Rowland Heights. I am always underwhelmed by the Rowland Heights because it feels poorly run and the workers seem rude. I keep going back because I LOVE their products but not the experience. So about a year ago I gave San Dimas a try hoping for a better experience. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Their cashiers were very rude, acted like they hated their job, and just totally disinterested. The people in the red shirts who put stuff away seemed clueless about the products and where to find them. I didn't go back because the experience was so bad. Flash forward to a week before Christmas this year. I needed Secret Santa gifts and had no time to go to Rowland Heights. When I walked in the store was bright and cheery. I was greeted by a cashier which was a pleasant change. I'd not experienced that at other Daiso's. I was asked several times during my shopping if I was finding everything okay. The people in red shirts knew where things were and showed me where to find them. I walked away from this trip very pleased and impressed at the changes. I guess being under a new manger makes a world of difference! I went back again on New Years Eve and was just as pleased. Again I was greeted warmly by the cashier and the people in red shirts were great too! So glad they are under good management now! I found my new "home" Daiso! San Dimas Daiso is awesome!! read more
