I really enjoyed the Thai food at Daisuki! Khao soi is something I struggle to find at most restaurants, so I was happy to see they had it on the menu! It was a delicious coconut based curry over egg noodles. It was my first time in, and the service and atmosphere was great for a nice lunch. We saw they had many other lunch deals that looked like a good value but had my heart set on the khao soi. I would come back again for the lunch specials or sushi bowls which I have heard are good!

Super solid sushi with great service. The decor is cute, friendly, even a touch of whimsical. I LOVE the veggie tempura. Subtlety seasoned tempura with an excellent crunch. Lovely variety of sweet potato, broccoli, and onion. The only issue I have had each time? It has such a fragrant smell when you first walk in. Like, it takes me aback every time! I eventually adjust to it, but I think switching up the cleaning product to a more subtle scent might help a bunch!

Finally got to come in! I had them on my list since they were at Logan street but had never gotten the chance to try the food. They're Thai owned, so they have Thai food along with sushi. It's a small restaurant. Used to be Stout (RIP). But they seem to get a lot of takeout orders. We got seated right away. Shared some takoyaki to start! Not bad. Not steaming hot like they sometimes are. Loved it! It had a bit of some chunky pieces but not bad. I also got Sapporo. They gave me a chilled glass for it. Perfection! I got the Hawaiian crunch roll while my friends got khao soi, the yum yum roll, and the ginger salad. Delicious! Great flavors too. Prices are cheaper than other sushi spots so that was nice. And the khao soi was fantastic! It was a generous portion too. I'd come back again. I want to try other sushi and Thai dishes! Staff was nice. Only one server for the whole place but they didn't get all that busy with customers dining in. Parking around here is parallel. My sister and I found a spot across the street while my friend parked a couple blocks away.

A little place with big energy! Very friendly and fast service! Kat is awesome and so very sweet! Our food was good- only thing I wanted was chicken soup and they don't make it... only miso and I'm allergic to soy so.. The kid had some, it got cold quickly so she didn't finish it. She ordered red snapper nigiri and happy roll, liked them both. I got the shrimp tempura with broccoli only, and the crazy roll sub tuna for spicy tuna and add cream cheese. Kat brought her out some strawberry mochi ice cream for her birthday. It was super sweet of her!!

These place does not fail!! Food is low-key presented really well and yummy. The family that owns this please is so kind and the vibe here is down to earth. They have a steady flow of people all the time. Tells you how good it is. Coming back

First time here. Right at noon and figured the place would be packed. Only two tables had anyone at them....hmm. Greeted warmly and told to sit anywhere we want, so window seat it was! The inside of the restaurant was like a tiki bar kinda. Not bad, just not what I expected. The gyoza dumplings were good, but a tiny bit saltier than I like. The Spicy tuna roll was good with a nice amount of spice. The Spider roll was scrumptious! Would definitely recommend!

    Pad Thai

Great food! Great service! Cute place. Would definitely recommend it! Only done side they charge for every single condiment, otherwise good.

Stopped in for some lunch with a friend! The woman behind the counter was so nice & helpful, answered any questions we had! Place was small but with a cozy type feel to it. It seemed tidy & clean so far as I could tell! We ordered just a few appetizers to share. Every single one was melt in your mouth worthy! The Salmon Tataki tasted so fresh & clean, perfect as a palette cleanser! Crab Rangoon was piping hot & we loved that we could actually taste that it was crab! This literally melted like butter on my tongue, so smooth & creamy! Not pictured is the Shumai (Deep fried shrimp dumplings) They were so dainty, but pop one of these in your mouth & you're ready to put a few more orders in! Sake flight.. Oh this Sake flight was a roller coaster! & pardon, I don't know a ton about Sake. I cannot remember the names of each but One was peach, it was more mellow than I expected which was good in my opinion. One was strawberry, I couldn't finish it because it personally reminded me of the kids strawberry chapsticks from childhood. One was just a more regular Sake, like a milky white one, it was pretty decent. The Quail egg shot... I was really psyching myself out & then was immediately shocked because it was great & my fav one!

I've eaten at Daisuki before when it was at Logan Street Market, but this was my first visit to their brick and mortar location. My partner and I ordered the veggie tempura, fried oysters, escolar and hotate nigiri, sexy hamachi roll, VIP tuna roll, a spicy yellowtail roll, and a large sake. The sexy hamachi was our favorite. I wasn't sure about the carrots in the roll, but it was delicious. The other rolls weren't very flavorful, but they were fine. The sushi rice was perhaps a bit dry--something about the texture was off, but overall we had a good experience.

Best Saki happy hour in Louisville! Love their diverse menu that is so much more than just sushi. Legit flavors and love the staff so much! Always clean and intimate for dining in.

Was so sad when they moved out of Logan Street Market so was ecstatic seeing Daisuki had their own spot now! We had the dynamite roll and the daisuki roll as well as hamachi & tuna nigiri. The hamachi was soooo good, almost buttery. We really enjoyed the rolls as well.

The bacon was thick and a great portion. The fries are thin and super salty. I'd recommend a different side to go with your sandwich. I noticed a pick two for a salad, soup, or sandwich. It included a drink, which made it a good deal. The menu offers several breakfast and sandwich items, plus bakery, salads, and sides. Plenty of seating and I enjoyed the brightness of the main room with its high ceilings. We had a table of 40+ people. The food came out together and our server hustled with a smile.

I started off with a diet coke and it fell flat. The menu listed a fountain drink and it was coke served from a soda gun. The carbonation wasn't strong and didn't last past the first few sips. I ordered off the breakfast menu and got the huevos rancheros and a blueberry muffin. The eggs were cooked to order and the potatoes were delicious! The muffin was okay. It was a bit on the dry side and would be skipped next time. My friend got a BLT and wasn't impressed. One piece of bread was soft while the other was hard, almost stale. It's a beautiful space but the meal was a disappointment.

I think my cocktail was called the Tokyo Pop? Not positive but you have to get it. Gin, bubbles, sake, and a hint of lemon in a flute glass. Refreshing, a hint of sweet, a hint of lemon, and extremely drinkable. It would be too easy to throw a ton of these back. But I was demure and had one. I enjoyed the calamari--my go-to here. Crispy, with a bit of heat from pickled peppers, a bit a of sweet form a sweet glaze, and a nice herby zing from mint, herbs, and scallions.
