She made the experience as pain free as possible with her energy, stories, and technique. Although I had just met her, it felt like I was talking to an old friend with her warm personality. I'll definitely be coming in from now on for my waxing services. The studio is located in Centerville of Fremont upstairs in an office complex, cute and clean. She was responsive from the beginning to confirm the appointment the morning of. The art pieces at the studio are amazing while waiting. Had my first appointment yesterday for a Brazilian, and it was great. The owner is responsive via text, super friendly, efficient (I was in and out which I super appreciate), detailed, and had me laughing the entire time. I noticed that there was another review for this business mentioning that Indy is super welcoming, and that is an understatement! She makes you feel as if she has known you forever while getting to know you, all the while not feeling as if it is prying-I don't know if that makes sense lol, but just know she makes you feel comfy but moves fast as hell. It was my first time getting professionally waxed anywhere and I'm so glad to find Daisy & Duke! Everyone was properly wearing masks, and they made sure everything was up to COVID 19 standards. Went to see Indy and let me just say she is amazing. I got to my appointment early and she was able to see me no problem at all. Welcomes you in with open arms. Very friendly personality, she talks to you and gets to know who you are because you can tell she enjoys her work and likes to communicate with her clients. Not sure why there is no reviews visible but I had a great experience! I got a manzilian (male Brazilian) and Indy was very professional, easy to talk to and talked me through the most painful pulls. It was my first time and she made me feel comfortable with the process! If your a first timer or even a vet I would definitely recommend! It was my first time here but not my first Manzillian; Manzillian at Diasy & Duke was a breeze. She offered a shot of Hennesy (she's got a collection of alcohol and I chose Hennesy) when I walked in and who says no to a shot? After that, i got set up at the table and from then it was very quick and easy. Wax temp was perf as it didn't feel hot to the touch. She gets the painful areas done first so the rest of the ride is smooth (get it?). No awkness at all! Don't let the quickness fool you though, she is very detail oriented and will get them stranglers with tweezers as much as possible. After we were done, she asked if I'd like one more shot. Again, who says no to a shot? Glad I found Daisy & Duke where detail matters. I felt like she actually tried to get as much as done possible within that short time (short time because she's quick) and not trying to just get ppl in and out which is how I felt at some other shop in SJ. I can't tell you what a great experience I had and how happy I was to have listened to my friend. I felt nervous going in but that all quickly disappeared when I met Indy. I am pretty confident that I found my esthetician FO LIFE, and you probably would feel the same if you came here. Indy has always made me feel so comfortable for every wax, even when it's momentarily uncomfortable (cause ya know it still hurts sometimes). I am always distracted enough by good conversation that by the end of my appointments I'm always like, "wait, we're done already?! (Smiling tear drop emoji)" Sometimes I even feel like I got therapy on a huge discount or just briefly hung out with a long time friend because she just has that way of making you feel comfortable and when you are laying on a table completely exposed and vulnerable, that is a very great feeling lol. Although Indy is the only person who I have been waxed by here, I am confident that her staff would be an extension of her and uphold all of the same qualities that make my personal experiences great every single time.
