I was torn between giving this place a 4 or 3 since there's no 3.5 option. I have chosen to give it a three since I like the coating more than the actual chicken. A plus is that they give you a disposable glove to go with your order so that you don't get messy fat on yourself and also bcs they are nice.

Ordered takeout from here on a Saturday night. This might be my favorite Korean fried chicken in NJ. We ordered the honey butter wings, soy garlic wings, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Even after a 20 minute drive home the wings were still super crispy! They were so juicy and flavorful and the wings themselves were a good size. The honey butter sauce was exactly like it sounds. It was sweet, rich and sticky. The soy garlic was more of your traditional Korean fried chicken wing sauce. It was coated well without being overly coated and it wasn't too salty like other soy garlic sauces I've had. The onions rings and mozzarella sticks were also good although I'm sure they'd be even better fresh. The order came with two small containers of coleslaw and three small containers of sauces: Dak sauce, mango sauce and a spicy sauce. The Dak sauce was kinda of like a sriracha mayo. The mango sauce was similar to the Dak sauce to me but with a sweet mango taste. The spicy sauce was like a sweet chili sauce but with an extra kick. They also added some plastic gloves in case you didn't want to get your hands dirty. If you want really good quality Korean fried chicken definitely check this place out. It's a little on the pricey side but the quality is worth it.

Nothing because we didn't get our order.

We ordered a takeout today Sunday Feb 16 and we received the wrong order and was unaware that they used Uber Eats We received the wrong order and we called the owner of DAK and he said there was nothing he could do so needless to say, we ordered and didn't receive any food what we did get was an crappy looking chicken sandwich and soggy fries and carrot cake First experience and out last experience

We did it again... Some coworkers and I couldn't stop thinking of this place after our first time ordering. I was able to take a picture before we devoured it. So last time we had the Sweet & Spicy and the Soy Garlic. This time we added Honey Butter.. once again the halls were filled with the smell of this chicken. Our order came quickly and at a reasonable time. This time we ordered two 14 pieces and one 7 piece and two orders of fries. That fed 7 of us and some wings to spare.

Best fried chicken I've ever had. We stopped here randomly two years ago after landing in Newark and needing some food on our drive home. We've been talking about it ever since. We needed to fly again recently and we chose to fly out of EWR instead of PHL solely so that we would have a reason to eat there again haha. It added an hour to the drive but was worth it. Even better than we remembered.

I was in the mood for some Korean fried chicken and found this spot close to home. It was so delicious that I ended up coming back the same week. I first tried the wing & drum option with honey butter sauce and tenders with the soy garlic. I got a side of onion rings and they included an order of snow cheese fries for free. The second time I ordered wings and tenders with honey butter and also got free snow cheese fries. I absolutely loveeeeeed the honey butter sauce. I felt like the tenders were a bit salty (just the inside of the chicken itself) so they were my least favorite. I thought that it might have been because of the sauce but it was the same when I tried the honey butter the second time. The wings and drums tasted super fresh. Super crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. The drums were huge and more than enough to end up with left overs. The onion rings and fries were overflowing from their containers. Portion sizes were very generous. The snow cheese tasted amazing, it was my first time having it. They also have mozzarella sticks available. They include 4 different sauces to dip the fries in. I loved the super orange one the best but I'm not sure which one it is since the containers aren't labeled. It was the only one out of the 4 that didn't have a kick to it. It's a small restaurant so it's more of a to-go spot. I'm not sure if it was the owner that I spoke with but he was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this spot! Just wish they had additional side options that weren't fried like rice or slaw.

    Soy Garlic Tenders

I drove a half hour out just to try this place and I will do it again lol. The tenders with soy garlic flavor are to die for they're so crispy and juicy. there's a ton that comes in one small order and I got pickled radish and a few sauces on the side that I didn't even request which are so good. good price too considering korean fried chicken can get expensive. there's a lot more I want to try from there, it's probably a good thing this place isn't super close to me or i'd go everyday lol.

Moderately priced food, this place is mainly good for the basics like wings, pizza & fried appetizers. Super casual spot for a night time hangout - just be prepared for the music to be *very loud* if you sit indoors during a rock band. Each food item on our bill also came out to a few dollars more than the prices on their website menu (i.e. got charged $19.95 for the Sampler Platter appetizer, when the online menu says $16.95, and got charged $13.95 for the dozen wings when online menu says $11.95). Didn't notice this until the next day, and we can't remember if the printed menu pricing in-person was correct & matches the receipt, or if it was also lower prices that match the online menu (which would be disappointing). Will definitely be highly aware of that if we visit again.

The place is veteran owned and has been in business for a while! All the choices on the menu are mouth watering good! After serious consideration we settled on sharing the Trinity platter which came with brisket, spare ribs and sausage links. We opted out of the sausage and upgraded the platter with pastrami. The Texas Trinity platter also comes with choices of pickles, one small sized side, we had Mac and Cheese, and 2 rolls. The portions were satisfying and good to share. The meats, oh my! All were smoked and cooked to perfection! Moist, juicy, and tender! Even better, they were seasoned so well there is no need for the also perfect sauces they offer! I ordered a 1/2 pound pastrami sandwich and a side of creamy slaw. I did ask for a cup of water too, since they can give you free tap water. But back to the sandwich, it game on a tray where it was a puddle of grease on the paper. I don't normally eat so greasy so it took me by surprise and I pushed on through since I wanted to try it. Biting into it, felt like a struggle for some reason. Maybe it was too much meat but it was also just salty to the point where I was coughing a little. They have several types of sauces that helped it come together nicer. And the creamy slaw washed it down. On its own, I just could not finish the sandwich. Someone at my table got 1/4 pound pastrami but not the sandwich. It should have been similar to my sandwich but I had them try it. They said my sandwich was so salty that they may have even salted the bread too. It made me think I was just unlucky with my order as the salt built up in my sandwich. It is a very popular place, so I think I should try a different item, but my sandwich did not sit well with me.
