Nice place. More of a take out lunch spot. But plenty seating to eat after ordering. The rotisserie chicken was so good. Seasoned and juicy. Either of us felt it needed any additional seasoning. The corn was sweet and fresh as was my broccoli . The cream spinach was tasty. The sweet potatoes were just OK. I guess cause I am used to sweet Sweet potatoes. I think it less sugar sweet. Ok maybe healthier sweet The place is clean, and the staff gets you in and out fast. I can definitely see this place getting crowded fast. Also seen many picking up call in orders. Delicious and tender rotisserie chicken, a welcome addition to my short list since any remaining Boston Markets are disappearing. Very tender, well-seasoned chicken, even the breast which is so often overcooked. My experience was confusing, not allowing to order a whole chicken (2 breasts, wings, drums, and thighs) but only "whole dark" or "whole white". Owner advised to order directly from website or phone, as prices better and menu more logical. Sides (sweet potato, creamed spinach, and tomato/cuke salad) were very good. read more

This place reminded me of Boston Market. The chicken dinner was awesome. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Mac and Cheese was a little soupy would have liked it to be baked but it was till ok. The price was right for the amount of food you get. Most of all...and for me the most important this place was impeccably clean. Probably one of the cleanest places I have seen in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was amazingly clean as well. I love that in a restaurant and for that alone I would recommend and go back 100 times. I met the owner at the BH location tonight. Super nice guy and his staff is great. He owns a location in Madison as well. All the food we got togo was great. The tenders were a 4 of 5. Ribs 4 of 5. The mac & cheese was awesome. Sweet potatoes mashed were sweet. Stuffing was amazing. She said her mild crispy chicken sandwich was very good. All the sides looked super fresh. I have cravings specifically for this place's crispy spicy chicken sandwich. I actually like it more than the fast food options (Chick Fil A, Popeyes) just because it's satisfies that fried chicken craving, but it tastes cleaner. I especially love the CRISPY part of this sandwich. The breading is so light and airy. It kind of falls off as you're eating it, but not completely where you're annoyed at it. The buns are grilled - always a nice touch. The pickles and sauce bring it to perfection. I've also tried their rotisserie chicken and side dishes and they are also great. This has become a go to spot for us. It gives you that fast food satisfaction but tastes so much better because the ingredients are better quality and seem to be cooked in a healthier way. So in law picked me up a Gorgonzola salad today for lunch. I love Gorgonzola cheese. It's the star of the salad. No Gorgonzola there was some other tasteless cheese probably shredded mozzarella but even then barely any. Had to look for the bacon. Thought I would provide an update. Wrote this spot up when it first opened and I was not very impressed. However, it has become a welcome addition to our town. There is something to be said for a place that is consistent. Juicy rotisserie chicken, great wings and tasty sides, particularly the stove top type stuffing. Reminds me of my youth. In a very good way. Friendly staff. I'm always greeted with a smile and a handshake from the manager/franchise owner and attended to quickly by the folks working behind the counter. Everything is fresh, or looks that way. And contrary to what I wrote earlier, the chicken is much better than the local supermarket fare. Yet another reason why it sometimes better to wait before firing off a Yelp review. My only critical comment would be that I wish they would cut out the backbone when preparing a to go whole cut up chicken order. Very unsightly. La Rosa is what every chicken restaurant should aspire to. I had the crispy sandwich (La Rosa sauce on the side), friend had the roasted white half dinner with broccoli and mac and cheese. Everything absolutely delicious, well-packaged for takeout travel. Roasted chicken was moist and flavorful with crisp skin, broccoli was crunchy tender and well flavored with mild garlic and the mac and cheese was creamy goodness. A delicious, perfect takeout. So many people were anxiously awaiting the opening of La Rosa Chicken and Grill next door to the post office. Finally the day has arrived and the place was packed during dinner on a Saturday. Despite the crowd, the line moved very quickly and there was plenty of seating as many people were ordering to go. We ordered the whole chicken meal with 2 sides (broccoli and rice). The chicken was tender and well seasoned. I prefer the dark meat but the white meat was good as well. Many places overcook their veggies but not La Rosa. The broccoli was perfectly cooked with a hint of garlic. Dinner for 3 for just $25. A good value in my opinion. We will definitely be back to try their sandwiches and other dishes. La Rosa is one of my go to take out places. The food is reliably good. I appreciate consistency. There is never really a wait and the orders are prepared on time. I would highly recommend the whole chicken. The sides look good but cant comment. I have also ordered the Mediterranean salad, which is good but if you're going to order from La Rosa I would stick to what they're known for, their chicken. We've been receiving fliers to check out La Rosa Chicken for months and finally decided to order take out after a long week of traveling. For three people, we ordered the 8 piece crispy chicken which came with crispy chicken, our choice of two sides (we got mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed garlic broccoli) and corn bread. We were a bit nervous the portions wouldn't be large enough so we also ordered an additional side of mac and cheese. Everything was good and we certainly had enough food (yay leftovers!) - we'll be back for more! I will say, I'm not sure I would dine in though since it seemed like a step below a Boston Market and I'd be curious what their non-crispy chicken is like since the chicken was just chicken, not overly crispy. read more

Gotten food to go here many times but there is definitely a problem going on in this kitchen. So much garlic in the sides that they are inedible. Last time I just threw them out because I took it to go, but this time we ate in and tried to provide feedback to the Manager but he was not hearing us. The string beans and brocelli have so much garlic that they are not edible and then after us telling him this, he offered to sell us a side of Mediterranean tomato salad, but amazingly that was covered in garlic as well. Who ever heard of a tomato salad covered in garlic? We are Greek and know all about garlic in our food......but this is so over the top that I was actually ill afterwards. Costco 4.99 chicken is much more flavorful and juicy. The chicken was on the dry side, the seasoning was not good, the bird was small for the price of 21.99 with 2 sides. The chicken gravy was salty and fake tasting. The ribs were ok but the sauce was too sweet. The whole price of the meal was just about 35 dollars for a tiny chicken, 6 ribs, 2 large sides and 2 drinks...and that was with the 5 dollar coupon off orders of 30 dollars or more. If people think this is a 5 star place, the American palate is really going downhill. I feel sorry for you. The total meal was worth no more than 15 bucks. Don't go here unless you have immature, undiscriminating taste buds. The place robs you and gives you crap for food. Plus the noise of the refrigeration makes for an unpleasant experience. read more

I work a few blocks away and eat at La Rosa on a regular basis. I moved to the area from Miami, FL for with a month ago and have become a regular for lunch. One of the main reasons I go other than the food being great and it being a very clean environment, is because of Nicole. It is refreshing to meet someone that truly understands the meaning of service excellence and providing an exceptional Customer Experience. Nicole has suggested different things to try and they have all been great. The food is great and restaurant very nice, but what makes them exceptional is the personality and best in class experience that Nicole provides. I feel welcome and always greeted with a kind smile and friendly hello. Nicole is the secret spice that truly differentiates this already great restaurant.
