Do NOT shop here. They are not trustworthy. Essentially I came in to look at Dodge trucks in the Lawrence location. I was excited. I walked in the door with a certificate for a $50 test drive that was offered by Dodge, and required a dealer visit to validate the certificate. I visited the dealership on Saturday, May 25th @ 10AM. I spoke with Sarah Clark and Jacob Thomas. I was also told that they would validate (i.e. confirm I visited your dealership) the $50 test drive offer. Several weeks later, they did not validate the certificate despite repeated attempts to reach the sales people via email and by phone. I also tried reaching the Sales Manager Tommy White. Finally I Tried calling Dodge corporate customer service who did not help either. I went over to Ford and looked at the F-150s and there was no issue there. I was treated with respect. How you treat customers is important. If I can't trust your word on honoring a $50 certificate paid by corporate that you advertise, what makes you think I'll want to spend $40K with you on a truck? I'm *glad* I had this experience as it will deter me from ever purchasing a Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep/car, and it will *certainly* prevent me from ever purchasing a vehicle at this Lawrence location. Don't get scammed on tire rotations. They'll charge you $30 and not do a thing and then lie to you.

While visiting Lawrence for an appointment with a doctor, our car overheated. Called Dale Willey and they said they didn't know if they could get us in. Recommend a towing company but they were currently out of town and couldn't get to us. Finally found someone to tow us. When we got to Dale Willey, we were taken care of extremely well! They did get us in. Found not only the thermostat issue but a hole in some tubing as well. We were told it would take a couple hours so they offered a driver (Skip) to take us somewhere to eat. Great recommendation for food. Skip went out of his way to make things go well for us. Called to see progress on vehicle as we thought we had an hour left and he was going to drop us off somewhere else. But, they were already done and were test driving the vehicle so headed back to the dealership. I didn't really remember anyone else's name but they just took great care of us and made a bad situation better! We will definitely consider this dealership when shopping for our next vehicle. As my husband said, If they take care of someone who did not buy their car there this well, how well do they care for someone who did buy their car there.! read more

Let me start by saying how much it amazes me that in a world where companies spend so much money on tracking and attempting to improve customer service, I am left with no choice but to write a negative review for Dale Willey service department. I won't drag on with all the details but will summarize by saying that a large part of this has to do with the confusion between Briggs and Dale Willey due to the change in ownership of the Dodge Ram dealership this year. I was given 2 free oil changes with the purchase of my truck. I scheduled an appointment and drove 45 minutes (90 minute round trip) just to cash in on my last complimentary oil change. The short story is that after arriving and waiting for 30 minutes, I was advised that the oil change would not be complimentary and I would be responsible for paying for it. After pleading with the service advisor, the company that handles service claims (complimentary oil changes) and the service manager, nobody would help me out. I was reduced to asking the service manager for a discount on the oil change and advised I would pay the rest just to keep me happy considering the circumstances. He advised me that their maintenance services are already marked down to where they make no money and if he gave me a discount then they would lose money. His answer was "Unfortunately, I cannot do anything for you." Hard to believe he could tell me that with a straight face. So, I walked out of Dale Willey with no oil change and will never be back. My hope is that my review will help at least one person avoid going to this place and dealing with the complete incompetence in the service department. read more

Do NOT buy a used vehicle from Dale Willey Honda. I purchased a used Maserati with 8k miles that I was told was in new condition. I picked the car up on 11/9 and noticed no issues. Exactly one week later I noticed the driver's seat had a tear in the leather that someone had covered up with a patch. I took the vehicle to the local Maserati dealership who confirmed it had recently been patched and only after the seat was repeatedly used would the patch start to show. I immediately contacted Chris (Internet Sales Manager) at Dale Willey who claimed they did not cause the damage, it was the former owner, and they would not assist with the repair cost. Be warned if you buy from this dealership, you are basically buying "as is" as customer service is not a priority. Could they have made things right and assisted with even part of the bill? Absolutely, but they refused. Now I am stuck with a $1,500 bill to replace the seat on a vehicle that I just purchased. Take your money and run to one of the other ethical dealerships out there that stand behind their cars! read more
