Read Complaints....... At better Business bureau and more importantly, file a complaint with better Business bureau when you have issues. Before taking your vehicle to this business. His solution to fixing your problem right the first time (His Slogan) is to do it over and over and over again, all the while charging you more and more and more money and still not fixing the problem. He had the vehicle for almost 3 months, charged approximately 2,500 and never fix the problem and never returned all of the parts that he supposedly replaced and didn't get permission on some repairs that he supposedly did make. I took my 1953 Chevy Bel Air that I've had for 21 years for service to Dale's Service Center. BIG MISTAKE They had my car for 5 months. They called me to say the car is ready. The bill was $3720.00. They destroyed my car. When I went to pick it up the car wouldn't start. Then on the way home the car stalled. Then after taking it back to the shop they cleaned up the spark plugs. Then after leaving the mechnics i was on the way home and the car ran out of gas!!! ( They said the gas guage works and the car has a full tank) Then, I took my dad for a ride and hot radiator fluid sprayed all over my dads legs. That was painful, he is 80 years old. Then a few blocks from home and the engine dies again and wouldnt start. Checked the spark plugs and they had rust and were.black as coal. I changed the spark plugs but the engine wouldn't turn over. Instead I see smoke coming from underneath the hood. I checked the oil, ABSOLUTELY NO OIL IN THE ENGINE. YES THEY ARE THAT BAD. WHEN I SAID HEY, THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEY BASICALLY DENIED EVERYTHING. IM TAKING THEM TO COURT..DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. F YOU DALE. SEE YOU IN COURT. read more

Needed my valve stems replaced. 3 hours later over 2 days it was finally done. All 4 rims scratched and $167. When I showed them the scratches the mechanic laughed and said their machine doesn't leave marks. NEVER again read more

Dales is the place to get your vehicle serviced. They are always fair with prices and normally can shuttle me to & from my office when my car needs work. Also, they never do any work unless they have checked with me first. read more

This is the most expensive garage in this city. It is also the worst. Go anywhere else, you will be better off. These are terrible mechanics and terrible, dishonest people. My elderly mom hit some sort of road hazard in my car in mid-September and pulled over. The exterior of the car did not have a scratch but something was definitely wrong. Hit something. Anyway, I went to the scene. 2006 BMW. The car sounded completely normal but would not go into gear. Message on the screen said, "transmission issue, alternator issue." I called Dale's, since they were close to the site, and had the car towed. Did not hear from them for a week, so I called them. Right off the bat, they ask me about $4K tie rods. Huh? And, if insurance is covering this? Or, can they just start on it, and will I just give them a blank check basically? I told them, "NO!!!!!! absolutely not!!!!! The KBB value of the car is $4,200. I am not interested in putting double or triple that amount into it. If it is too expensive to fix, I will get another opinion or just take it to the junkyard and get a new car. They had not even looked at the car yet. The phone person told me they would actually look at it and then call me again. She called me back a week later. She gave me a quote of $2600 for a radiator, condenser, fluids, and transmission oil cooler unit. I asked her ten times, "this is to fix the car right? Not to get started on a 10 step process, right? Your mechanics are positive in their diagnostic?" She said, yes, absolutely, but not doing the tie rods. Okay. Fine. I took that quote to 5 other garages. Each one said they would do it for a $1000 cheaper, but that diagnostic did not sound right to them, they would have to examine the car. Anyway... I called Dale's a week later and told them to go ahead. I wanted to save time. The car was already there and I thought they would get to it right away. I asked another 10 times if they were positive about their diagnostic. I told them if they were not positive, do not start. They said, yes, they were positive. I said okay. They did not get to the car right away as I had hoped. For seven weeks in a row they called me on Friday and said they were still waiting for parts. Covid they said. Not their fault. Finally, close to Thanksgiving, they called me and said they had worked on the car. They did not fix it. It was not drive able. The transmission is bad, and a slew of other things. They do not even know what. Great. But they want me to come pay them $2600 and then take the car to the junkyard or another garage. I was not pleased. They asked me to come there and speak to a manager. I went. But no manager. Two loudmouth idiots bum rushed me in the lot trying to be intimidating. But I put the key in the car anyway. Oh my god, the car was trashed. My car that used to be as silent as an electric golf cart now sounded like the loudest Harley in the world. And, you needed a crow bar to move the gear shifter from Park to Drive. They broke it. And the message panel still said, "transmission issue, alternator issue". I asked about the exhaust. It was stolen, not our fault, they said. These are bad mechanics and even worse human beings. Everyone at this place is dishonest. I have never had a problem with a garage in my life. I have never written a negative review before. I felt I had to this time. It is a public service to keep people away from this awful place. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. We took our truck there to have it fixed. The ball joint broke and the tire broke off. It took them about 2 weeks to fix it and every day we called to pick it up we were told more things needed to be fix so they orders what they said they needed and were suppose to fix it. The parts were marked up 3 times the amount they paid for them. We verified it by calling the same place they go though. Finally after getting it back and paying way more than we should they didn't even do the work we took it there for. The ball joint wasn't even replaced but the other side that was. They said sorry but did nothing about about it but give SOME of the money back. The SAME day we got it back it was driven home and would not start again. Still not the worse part. Tonight while driving home my boyfriend almost wrecked. The brakes went totally out. The reason is they didn't put the bracket back on and the brake line rubbed against the tire causing a whole in the line. I'm shocked that any business is ran the way they are. read more

I have been taking my car here for years, for everything from routine oil changes to sorting out an obnoxious electrical gremlin. Fantastic, friendly service, every time. For older cars (and smaller budgets), I love how Dale's will suggest a few options for larger repairs -- from the minimal 'be safe' option all the way up to 'make it like new'. And they are always happy to give me a lift when my spouse cannot. read more

My truck stalled and I had it towed to Dale's. I verbally authorized a battery replacement. When I went to pick up my truck they did an oil change and bulb replacement with my battery. Their excuse was that he thought that is what I wanted. I felt like they were just trying to get extra money out of me because I am a female. Their oil changes are high priced and they didn't even check or top off my other fluids! The female receptionist was not friendly when I initially called.
