A new tea shop in Hayward that has replaced ONCE tea. I was excited to give this spot a try since it was on my for you page. I feel like downtown Hayward, especially A Street is making a comeback with new establishments. I decided to stop by on a Sunday around 6 PM and there were a few customers inside. It was great that they had a kiosk available in front of the register. Whatever air freshener that they used made the entire place small wonderful. I decided to order one of the recommended drinks - Mango Pomelo. The drink itself was very refreshing, but the ice could've been blended a little bit more because I was sipping more ice than the pomelo, sago, and bits of the mango. Would love to try their matcha and their milk tea next time I swing by.

Hayward finally got its first aesthetic Chinese boba shop after seeing their reels on Instagram. Their clean, warm interior design is more hyped than the drinks. The menu is pretty much a local version of Heytea, but not on the same taste level. Not many people prefer to sit inside on a Saturday afternoon. I decided to order the Guava Lemon Tea for myself through their kiosk. Too bad I couldn't adjust the sweetness, so I had to tolerate it, like drinking half the guava puree in the lemon tea. Plus, it was around $8, which is a bit expensive without additional toppings. I had to wait half an hour or more for the ice to melt halfway so I could finish the drink at 25% sweetness. That's enough time to be stuck in traffic on the way back home. Since there were a few people ahead of me, it took 20 minutes to wait for one drink to arrive. Since it is located in a busy and narrow downtown area, you can find free parking behind Buffalo Bill's Brewery, the movie theater garage, or near City Hall.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. They have a single self-order kiosk machine at the front, which made placing my order quick and easy. I really appreciated the digital tracking screens that show when your order is placed, actively being prepared, and ready for pickup--it takes all the guesswork out of waiting. Even with the weekend flow, my drinks were ready in under 10 minutes. I ordered the matcha jasmine latte, which was delightfully strong with a distinctly earthy, grassier flavor profile. I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu. Plus, there are tons of seating options available, making it a great spot to hang out, catch up with a friend, or get some work done.

The place was really cute, clean and cozy. I got a mango slush and it was good. The other drink was a crème brûlée milk tea and she did not like it at all. It was yellow? Over all I would give it a 3.5/5

I frequently pass through downtown Hayward during my commute so I was excited to see a new boba spot that I could potentially stop by. Parking can be a bit difficult, as it's located on B street (one way street) with only a few parking spots every few feet but there are nearby parking structure. I was lucky enough to snag a spot about 8 stores down. Ordered my drinks through a kiosk. Drinks were reasonably priced (about $6.95 for a milk tea with boba, fruit drinks a tad more expensive starting at $7). I got the oolong milk tea that came with boba, 25% sweet and 50% ice. I also got a Peach Blossom drink at 50% sweet and 50% ice for the next day. I wish they offered a 25% or no ice option- I'm a little worried the 50% ice will dilute the fruit tea. Drinks came out quickly- less than a 5 minute wait at 2pm on a Wednesday. I tried the milk tea right away and enjoyed it! It was very smooth and had a slight floral taste- this isn't the type of oolong that has a deep, roasted flavor. I thought 25% sweet was perfect and wouldnt recommend going higher. The boba had a nice QQ texture and was also sweet. Haven't tried the peach tea but hoping it isn't too sweet. They seal the cups with a film so you need a straw to penetrate the drink, so you can't sip straight from the lid despite there being a closeable slit for that. Tea was delicious, prices are reasonable. I would come back, though the parking might deter me from making this a frequent place.

New boba tea shop in Hayward. The interior decoration is nice it has seating area inside. When I arrived they are pretty busy. You can order using the touch screen kiosk or with the cashier. It has matcha, fruit tea and milk tea. The store is famous for its matcha drink. As I already ordered matcha from shop next door, I decided to order grapefruit greentea with crystal boba. The price is similar to other boba tea shop. The drink is refreshing and the fruit and tea combination is good. Will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.

Very cute boba shop. The interior is so aesthetically pleasing! Glad to have a spot like this in downtown Hayward. The drinks were pretty good. We tried two tea-based drinks and a matcha. I thought the tea flavors were very strong and noticeably better quality than other boba shops in the area. I didn't get the artificial/overly-sugary taste that other boba shops have. The matcha was surprisingly the star here!! I didn't expect a boba shop to have such a decent matcha. I got the matcha einspanner and it was super creamy and had a strong matcha taste. Loved it and would definitely get it again. I definitely think they need another ordering screen. They only have one touch screen and the line gets very held up with people looking at the menu. It took me a while to order due to this.

Dali Tea opened recently in Once Tea's space, slightly changed decor, adding more fancier seat, tables & rounded bench seating. low level chairs are too close to each other. Dali Tea is a domestic Indy, not part of a chain. Soft music in background, ordering by kiosk only. Notification in 12 minutes via text or on overhead screen. Offerings: (Boba Tea): modern milk tea, coffee, matcha, fruit tea, milk tea, cream cheese, slushy, Hand smashed lemon tea. No notifications seen of origins or "intent" of Dali Tea. Sips: peach cream cheese (7.35) recommended on list. -requested no ice nor sugar. Initial taste of a peachy tasting slushy liquid sipped from bottom. Guess ice and peach essence blended. Thick cream cheese slow to flow down. To shake or to stir was a question I didn't of associates. Should have shaken harder. Light shaking did nada. *at the finish, peach & cream cheese mixed. Nice taste but not worthy for price. Excess Sweetness may the magic ingredient. 4ish stars. Semi-worthy. Street parking or garage. Quantity similiar to chains. Quality: pricey. Similar to chains. Chains have edge on Qualtiy..

3.5 stars, one of the better spots in Hayward for tea with a new, modern interior and expansive menu. Overall the drinks are decent but there are only a few drinks I see myself interested in coming back for. I'm not sure I'm a fan of their boba, it has a weird flavor to it (maybe it's the sugar they use). I think they can improve on the tea strength for their milk teas. The matcha was surprisingly good for a place that's not focused on matcha. The service is OK, the screen detailing orders in progress and ready doesn't seem accurate. Ordering is done via a screen. One time, the drinks were ready but we had no idea until we checked the front. They can work on their menu descriptions because a few were slightly inaccurate (mango pomelo snow on the menu said it came with whipped cream, which we didn't want, so we let them know and they said it doesn't come with that). Parking is easy with a big lot nearby. My partner and I have tried the following (ranked): Double matcha - it was actually strong in matcha, which made this worth it. surprised by this since I wasn't as impressed with some of their other drinks. I'd recommend this one because it was the right level of sweetness and matcha flavor. Purple rice milk tea - this was the first drink I tried, the purple rice added a nice texture to the drink. I prefer their classic milk teas over the modern milk teas. Emerald kiwi fruit tea - kiwi flavor came through, and it was refreshing on a hot day Mango pomelo snow - decent with mango taste but it seemed very frozen. Made it taste more like a slush. Premium black milk tea with boba - the boba had this odd flavor to it that I can't quite name. The boba size is nice though, slightly smaller than the average pearl. The tea flavor came through but I think the sugar they use threw me off and I didn't quite enjoy the drink as much because of it. Premium jasmine milk tea - the tea wasn't strong enough on this one and it tasted more milky. Phoenix oolong milk tea - the tea wasn't very strong on this one either. Four seasons milk tea with boba - again, tea could've been stronger. Boba had that strange sugar taste I didn't enjoy. Green grape boom - decent, comes with crystal boba. The grape flavor could be stronger and fresher. Not as good as Heytea's version of this drink.

Right next to Tram coffee is this place! The interior is super nice and clean. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The place has a lot of seats and tables. Super orange green tea: it already comes with toppings like crystal boba but if you want more you can add more. I got it with 25% sugar and 50% ice. To me this drink tasted like candy mixed with tea Or like a melted orange popsicle. I feel like if I were to compare it to other places, other places with teas and fruit teas taste a bit better. BUT the less this place has potential!

Recently opened (soft opening) tea shop on b street, right next to tram coffee. For a tea shop that I haven't heard of and can't find any other chain, the menu and set up feels like the owners have extensive tea shop background. It feels on par with popular shops like Molly, and Hey Tea. From the moment you step into the shop, you can smell the aroma of the tea! It's an amazing and you can tell they steep good quality tea. The interior has a premium experience, the chair and accents give a warm natural vibe. The menu is large for a shop that is in soft opening, it ranges from milk teas, fruit teas and I even saw mango sago too! I only ordered the premium jasmine tea because it's so good! I have gone twice but will definitely try something different. We waited about 10 minutes, it looked like they were adding more tea to the machine so it took a moment before they could make more drinks. My interaction was minimal since we ordered on the kiosk. So happy to have this drink so in the east bay, it fits perfectly and stands alone with different tea options. T4 is down the street but still has different enough options to thrive on its own. Same with Dali Tea, they offer premium teas. Tram offers coffee so they are all unique enough to thrive downtown.

I'm a big fan of this particular location due to their many food options (not all iTeas offer food) and how creamy their milk tea is. When ordering food, the wait is understandable given the preparation time but drinks are usually ready within 5 minutes (I recommend ordering ahead of time through the app). My go-to order is Signature boba milk tea, 30% sweet and 30% ice. Their milk tea is on the sweeter side so I strongly suggest 30% sweet max. They go heavier on the creamer compared to other locations, which I think gives the drink a well-rounded/not watery profile. The boba is always QQ and sweet. For food, I've tried their popcorn chicken, garlic noodles with short rib, and baked pork chop rice. All were pretty good!
