3.5 stars, one of the better spots in Hayward for tea with a new, modern interior and expansive menu. The service is OK, the screen detailing orders in progress and ready doesn't seem accurate. Ordering is done via a screen. Once the drinks were ready but we had no idea until we checked the front. Overall the drinks are decent but there are only a few drinks I see myself interested in coming back for. I think they can improve on the tea strength for their milk teas. The matcha was surprisingly good for a place that's not focused on matcha. They can work on their menu descriptions because a few were slightly inaccurate (mango pomelo snow on the menu said it came with whipped cream which we didn't want so we let them know but they said it doesn't come with that). My partner and I have tried the following (ranked): Double matcha - it was actually strong in matcha, which made this worth it. surprised by this since I wasn't as impressed with some of their other drinks. I'd recommend this one because it was the right level of sweetness and matcha flavor. Purple rice milk tea - this was the first drink I tried, the purple rice added a nice texture to the drink. I prefer their classic milk teas over the modern milk teas. Emerald kiwi fruit tea - kiwi flavor came through, and it was refreshing on a hot day Mango pomelo snow - decent with mango taste but it seemed very frozen. It must not have been defrosted well, seems like it was blended into the drink. Made it taste more like a slush. Premium black milk tea with boba - the boba had this odd flavor to it that I can't quite name, but I didn't really like it. The boba size is nice though, slightly smaller than the average pearl. The tea flavor came through but I think the sugar they use threw me off and I didn't quite enjoy the drink as much because of it. Premium jasmine milk tea - the tea wasn't strong enough on this one and it tasted more milky. Phoenix oolong milk tea - the tea wasn't very strong on this one either. Four seasons milk tea with boba - again, tea could've been stronger. Boba had that strange sugar taste I didn't enjoy. Green grape boom - decent, comes with crystal boba. The grape flavor could be stronger and fresher. Not as good as Heytea's version of this drink.

Beating the summer heat with a plot twist! When the summer heat got a little too crazy, my friends and I knew only one thing could save us: Boba. A friend suggested this spot with a hilarious backstory--she actually stumbled upon it by accident the other day, thinking it was Dali Tea next door! We figured, why not give it a shot? First impressions: 10/10. The interior is gorgeous--super clean, modern, and minimalist. Their menu is massive, ranging from light, refreshing teas to decadent, creamy blended drinks. Naturally, we had to do a taste test and all ordered something different: Matcha Blended Tea with a mountain of whipped cream Lemon-Lime Infused Tea Mango Tea with clear tapioca pearls (my pick!) The verdict? The creamy matcha and the citrusy lemon-lime were absolute crowd-pleasers! Mine was... an adventure. Note to self: blended mango and tea is a wild combo. It had a unique flavor profile my tastebuds weren't quite ready for, but hey, it was boiling outside, so I happily drank every drop! The staff was incredibly friendly, and they whipped our drinks out at lightning speed. It's got such a great, lively vibe--full of students studying and people escaping the heat. If you're hanging out downtown, you absolutely have to stop by!

Dali Tea opened recently in Once Tea's space, slightly changed decor, adding more fancier seat, tables & rounded bench seating. low level chairs are too close to each other. Dali Tea is a domestic Indy, not part of a chain. Soft music in background, ordering by kiosk only. Notification in 12 minutes via text or on overhead screen. Offerings: (Boba Tea): modern milk tea, coffee, matcha, fruit tea, milk tea, cream cheese, slushy, Hand smashed lemon tea. No notifications seen of origins or "intent" of Dali Tea. Sips: peach cream cheese (7.35) recommended on list. -requested no ice nor sugar. Initial taste of a peachy tasting slushy liquid sipped from bottom. Guess ice and peach essence blended. Thick cream cheese slow to flow down. To shake or to stir was a question I didn't of associates. Should have shaken harder. Light shaking did nada. *at the finish, peach & cream cheese mixed. Nice taste but not worthy for price. Excess Sweetness may the magic ingredient. 4ish stars. Semi-worthy. Street parking or garage. Quantity similiar to chains. Quality: pricey. Similar to chains. Chains have edge on Qualtiy..

Right next to Tram coffee is this place! The interior is super nice and clean. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The place has a lot of seats and tables. Super orange green tea: it already comes with toppings like crystal boba but if you want more you can add more. I got it with 25% sugar and 50% ice. To me this drink tasted like candy mixed with tea Or like a melted orange popsicle. I feel like if I were to compare it to other places, other places with teas and fruit teas taste a bit better. BUT the less this place has potential!

Recently opened (soft opening) tea shop on b street, right next to tram coffee. For a tea shop that I haven't heard of and can't find any other chain, the menu and set up feels like the owners have extensive tea shop background. It feels on par with popular shops like Molly, and Hey Tea. From the moment you step into the shop, you can smell the aroma of the tea! It's an amazing and you can tell they steep good quality tea. The interior has a premium experience, the chair and accents give a warm natural vibe. The menu is large for a shop that is in soft opening, it ranges from milk teas, fruit teas and I even saw mango sago too! I only ordered the premium jasmine tea because it's so good! I have gone twice but will definitely try something different. We waited about 10 minutes, it looked like they were adding more tea to the machine so it took a moment before they could make more drinks. My interaction was minimal since we ordered on the kiosk. So happy to have this drink so in the east bay, it fits perfectly and stands alone with different tea options. T4 is down the street but still has different enough options to thrive on its own. Same with Dali Tea, they offer premium teas. Tram offers coffee so they are all unique enough to thrive downtown.

We finally have a premium milk tea spot in Hayward! Dali Tea had their soft opening this past weekend and I've already been twice. Thankfully there has been little to no wait on the weekdays. So far I've tried the premium jasmine milk tea, premium four seasons milk tea, and mango passion fruit tea. The drinks have been very good and the tea is high quality. Looking forward to coming here more and trying even more of their menu!

New spot in Hayward !! Lots of parking, either street or the lot. There's also a bunch of food and shops nearby. The drinks are amazing , my favorite is the green grape bomb! We also tried the matcha and it is so good! Very matcha forward for my matcha lovers out there :) Staff is quick and keeps the lines moving but it does get busy since it's popular! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new boba spot !

This is the second time I've come and have had a great experience both times! I've only had their orange Americano (only place nearby that has this) it's so refreshing and balances well with the coffee. My sisters have gotten different fruit teas and milk teas which have also been great! Looking forward to coming back for my fav drink!

i think this is a new boba place. love the place and seats, still so clean and soft. lol!!! staffs are so polite and welcoming customers. anyway, order from kiosk and many variants of drinks. overall, taste is just ok but a bit too sweet for my taste buds even though i have put the lowest percentage of sweetness. three stars at this moment for drinks...

Absolutely love this new shop in downtown Hayward. The store is bright, clean, and modern with the most comfortable chairs. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got the green grape slush with cream top and ube coffee. Both drinks are delicious, especially the green grape. It's the perfect refreshing drink this summer. Highly recommend!

So happy there's another boba spot that opened near us! We stopped by during their soft opening, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Our drinks came out quickly, and the service was great. I ordered the Green Apple Cream Cheese, and my fiancé got the Strawberry Snow. Both were delicious! The cream cheese topping was perfectly creamy, and the boba was soft, fresh, and chewy. We can't wait to come back and try their milk teas and the Mango Pomelo Sago. Definitely coming back for those next time!

I had a great experience at Dali Tea! The interior is beautiful and modern. The drinks are amazing high quality, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was incredibly fast, and everything inside was spotless and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a clean, relaxing spot with delicious drinks and excellent service. Will definitely come back to just hang out and relax.

You can only add toppings to the fruit teas, you must try the water chestnut boba! I would recommend 30-50% sweet if you don't want your drink too sweet. It was $8.50 before tip, which is very steep even with today's rising boba prices. They also have orchid oolong tea and a guava and peach flavor which I want to try next time, as well as selling hojicha and matcha. You can sign up for rewards at the ordering kiosk. It's sour and acidic but still sweet; I do wish in hindsight I'd asked for the lime to be removed, which is part of the drink customization settings, because the lime really overpowered it and it's harder to make out the pineapple. It had a rigid cup though, seems to be decent enough quality to reuse the cup. Overall, the drink was decent, but I took off a star because of how pricey it was. Still, I appreciate the premise of all the drinks containing lime and that they have some less common drink flavors.
