I've been here several times, but just realized I hadn't left a review. The other day my niece picked me up a Thai Milk tea with boba and it seemed like the best boba ever (outside of this one restaurant in Morgan Hil. I was so delighted she thought of me. Fast forward a few days and I decided to grab one for myself. Not as good, but bo complaints. I also ordered the pandan waffle, but it took a LONG time to get. There were only a couple of patrons and they already had their items, so I was the only one being serviced. I do also wish it came with some sweetened condensed me or a little cup of something to poor over it. But most places don't do that so, there's no "ding" for that. It was good and each bite had the crunch of coconut. Another positive about Tocotea is that it opens at 11am whereas most Boba places don't open until 12. They have chalked/painted Boba Cups on the wall. Here's What I Think... The next time I come back, I'll get my Thai Tea, but maybe I'll try the strawberry or Taro waffle.

The Tocotea by my house closed down, so I was surprised to see this one was still around. A few tables to sit at inside. I enjoyed their drink of... Okinawa Milktea: Rich milk tea blended with Okinawa brown sugar, topped with chewy coffee jelly cubes.

Matcha $7.50 with tax it's around $8. It was perfect

Service and ambiance was great. The guy that was working helped me pick between 2 matcha's: the one he helped me with was milk tea matcha with lychee it's so good. I needed a matcha fix

Thai creme brulee and matcha coconut

So so so yummy.. me and my boyfriend ordered the matcha coconut with lychee jelly and Thai creme brulee with boba. The thai tea was literally one of the BEST thai tea I have ever had if not the best. The flavor was so rich I swear I finished the drink in 2 minutes because of how tasty it was. The creme brulee was a little chunky when I had it and tasted more lile a regular cream(?). I felt that there wasn't enough of it to be called a creme brulee drink but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The boba was so soft and chewy. It had the perfect consistency. It's just regular tapioca balls so no sugar was added (not to my knowledge/taste) and no additional syrups but because it was made so well the bland flavor meant almost nothing. I got plenty of pearls in my drink as well, they definitely didn't skimp out on it!!! My boyfriends drink from first glance, we thought it was going to be some kind of coconut milk tea or thick coconut-y drink but when the barista handed it to us it was actually coconut juice!!!! It tasted so delicious... the matcha itself is more of a thicker consistency, my boyfriend likes more matcha taste/bitterness to it. It could have used more matcha or a stronger matcha base since the flavor of the coconut juice really overpowered the matcha. It's my first time seeing a boba place use coconut juice in a drink so it was a very pleasant surprise The lychee jelly was also really really good, it had that nice tense outside chew. Our server was nice :) the interior is nice with all the beautiful paintings on the walls....the seats are very comfortable, it was just a little warm in there but we did come in a few minutes before closing.

The price is kinda high; I believe the drink was around 8 dollars in the end. But that's to be expected with milk tea shops. The location was clean and the service was fast. To be honest, the drink was very very good and I would probably go back again.

Strawberry milk tea and 3 taro cheesecake. Bland and boba not great

Was in the area for dinner, so stopped in. Asked for lemon cheesecake...out of lemon. Asked for red velvet instead...also out. Third time wasn't a charm, because also out of tiramisu. Settled on a taro cheesecake for myself, husband and our daughter and our oldest got the strawberry milk tea. First sip, cheecake top was delicious...but, the taro had no flavor. It was very bland and I love taro drinks. The tapioca pearls were way too chewy, that they were hard to chew at all. They should have some bite to them and this was like too jelly. My daughter's strawberry milk tea wasn't much better. Spent $31 on 4 drinks that weren't that great.

Good and fast experience. The tea was good and refreshing kinda gave a cookie and cream taste. Overall I would check them out a gain. Good service as well

I ordered the tiramisu cheesecake. It tasted nothing like the name suggests. The drink was not worth the price.

Can't give 5 stars because the time for preparation isn't correct (most of the time I stand there and it's already done yet they don't tell you/no longer call out numbers or name and then as I'm driving away, it tells me the drink is done and ready for pick up). Additionally, not much sitting area to the point nobody really stays and wants to chat or play games... I think uses canned goods such as the aiyu isn't natural but canned. (I understand natural aiyu is expensive and takes too much time to prepare.) My favorite order at Yifang is the sesame snow, and it comes with cheese foam and milky ice and sesame paste, i also add Mochi Jelly. This location's cheese foam tastes old, like they been in the fridge for a week. It's so confusing to me since i thought it was a one off time, but the flavor is consistently disappointing after going there 2-3 times in a row. The mochi jelly is completely different, texture and flavor wise, just tastes like regular jelly, no mochi flavors or texture. Hopefully they can improve the quality, it's really disappointing when small things like this ruining the experience of my favorite drinks. For ~$9 a drink, I expect quality, in flavors and service.

As someone who has been drinking Vietnamese coffee since I was 12 (Im much older now), I am very picky with my Vietnamese coffee. This place knocked it out of the park with their coffee as well as offering flavors that I never tried other than the original. The phin set I ordered is for dine in only and understandably so. The pandan cream topping was definitely new for me and I would give it the compliment of saying that it wasnt too sweet. Not pictured was the pandan waffle and the two pate chaud I ordered, which I ate before taking the picture, I am sorry. It might be on the pricey side but hoenstly these days, what isnt? Im not complaining, I would come back next time I am around the area. Lastly, I wanted to shout out the workers there on that day. You guys seemed understaffed and getting slammed, but everyone did their job and delivered.

My recommendation is to order your drinks less sweet. It's the perfect level of sweetness. The only tweak I'd make is adding an extra shot of espresso to the coconut coffee. The food, unfortunately, didn't live up to the drinks. I tried a few of the bánh mì sandwiches, and the bread-to-filling ratio was way off. There just wasn't enough filling, and even after ordering extra veggies, it didn't seem like there were actually any extra added. If you're specifically craving a Vietnamese sandwich, I'd recommend driving about a mile up the road to Huong Sandwiches instead. That said, I still want to come back and try more of their food menu because the drinks alone keep bringing me back. The café itself is adorable. I love the modern design and all the greenery throughout the space. It's clean, quiet enough to study or work, and has about 7 small tables, making it ideal for solo visits or small groups of up to four people. I also appreciated the powerful hand dryer in the restroom (it's the little things!) and plenty of parking. Come for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere.

There were a few people in line and it did take about 10 minutes before we were able to order. During that time, some of the malasada flavors ran out, but they were quickly replenished. We grabbed an assortment of flavors, an iced oat latte, and a black sesame latte. The banana creme brulee malasada looked so good that we had to try it in the store while waiting for our drinks. The dough is so soft and pillowy with a crispy layer of bruleed sugar and a delicious banana cream that was absolutely to die for. At $6.50, it's not a cheap treat, but it was super delicious and I'm glad we tried it. The drinks were also great. The espresso shot they pulled perfectly complemented the oat milk -- this is one of the better iced oat lattes I've had. We tried the black sesame latte because it sounded interesting and it was so creamy and loaded with black sesame flavor. For anyone that doesn't drink caffeine, I highly recommend you try the black sesame latte. With such great quality malasadas and drinks, it's no wonder there was a line! We'll definitely be back!
