    Super clean food trays

Brand new spot near CSUEB! Plenty of parking and super clean inside! Simply decored and designed for quick order turn around which is important near a school with bustling college students! Our poke orders were all super fresh and done quickly considering it was just the one lady present. She was also very kind and courteous! I saw the other reviews for this place and they were for the ice cream and drinks! If you're in the area and craving fresh poke, this is the spot! If they keep it up, this is the best poke spot in Hayward! No need to go to Union City/Fremont, or Dublin, San Ramon, Pleasanton! Their drinks are super good too! I got the lemon-mint iced tea, and wifey got the avocado shake! We'll be back for sure! This is our new local spot!

So grateful to see a new business come to this mini neighborhood shopping center. Good portions and everything was delicious.

UPDATE, My last…read moreupdate was flagged because I did not include details, so here it goes. This was my exact reply to the owner who reached out to me only AFTER my update 5 years later. Hello Sir, The sentiments I shared in 2021 were pretty descriptive and I don't think I left any room for assumption. The extremely unprofessional service, sub-par food and the entire experience till this day, nearly 5 years later makes me so upset. I have young children that I take to get ice cream at Cold Stone right next door and whenever I see your shop it brings me back to such a poor example of how a small business should treat residents in the community. The fact that it took you a second bad review as a follow-up goes to show that you didn't care about my review the first time and its purely "optics" that matter to you. I see that you flagged my follow up, but I'll be sure to update it properly without the hateful messaging. For that I do apologize. For everything else, I do not. I'm a firm believer that your staff and team are a direct reflection of you and your business. If the kids working for your shop are family or personal friends, or they still work there, then I rest my case. And to add, the food wasn't horrible, It was mediocre. What made such a lasting and NEGATIVE IMPRESSION on me and my family was the way your employees treated YOUR customers. Rude, without care and as if it was a burden to serve them. Again, I was a new homeowner at the time I visited your shop and had such high hopes it would be a place I could take my family for many years to come. Rest assured that will never be the case. Like my first review mentioned, I don't come on here often. And if I do, it's because I want to really thank the service of outstanding businesses and business owners. Till this date your shop is the only place I've ever taken the time to write a negative experience. Good Luck to you and your business and I hope you train your staff to remember that all human to human interactions matter.

I almost wanted to gatekeep this place, but it's too good not to share. Poke House in Warm Springs…read moreis hands down one of the best poke spots around. First off, they're very generous with their poke and topping scoops. The fish is fresh and the sauce combinations are very delicious. Just a heads up that avocado and seaweed salad are extra here, but they also give a free scoop of crab salad with every bowl, which is a great bonus. They're also super generous with the toppings overall (pineapple, mango, etc.). The staff is incredibly friendly and happy to let you try samples if you're deciding between options. Another great perk is their points/rewards system, so if you come often you can earn a free bowl. There's some indoor seating for about 12-15 people, and usually there's space, but it's also a great spot to grab takeout and enjoy at home. Highly recommend if you're craving a solid poke bowl in the area!

Our favorite poke place is in Dublin, which is kind of a long drive from our house. Poke House,…read morelocated in Fremont is closer, but not as good. Poke House is just ok, not great. The servers on our last trip were friendly and generous with toppings. I ordered a small bowl, which is two proteins. It was pretty big after they were done with it. The bowl includes krab salad (with a "k"). On this visit, they had mango, but it was a little unripe. They also had octopus, which was good. Not all poke places have octopus. At this location, they use canned corn. If you add corn to your bowl, the flavor of the fluid from the can overwhelms the salad. It would have been better if they used frozen corn instead of the canned. On this visit, the ahi was oversalted. They should teach the kitchen prep staff to sample the fish before sending it to the counter. A small bowl here is $16.49. Seaweed salad costs $2.25 more. For comparison, our favorite place in Dublin charges only $15.99 for a two protein bowl, and includes seaweed salad, miso soup and ice cream at no additional charge. There, mango is available on a regular basis. Meh, it was ok. Next time, we'll probably go to one of the other places nearby instead.

The location is a little hard to find. You have to go into the super small parking lot just after Snappy's cafe. Once parked, in the corner of the parking lot there's a set of doors and a circle on the wall that says hey boo coconuts for you. Then you know you got the right spot. I don't know their hours, check their instagram. I walked in, thought I was lost until I recognized the young lady taking orders. I got a pound of shoyu poke. I kept smelling the amazing chicken and noodles! I made him do a special order since I didn't preorder. He was super gracious and accommodated me. I told him it was his own fault for telling me to come through. The noodles were delicious, lots of veggies and the char siu was meaty, not greasy. The wings had a great garlic and soy flavor to it. The shoyu poke was perfect, it didn't feel like it was doused or overpowered by sauce on the ahi tuna that he used. Most definitely on my rotation since I'm always in the neighborhood.
