I can't believe I haven't written a review for a business my kids and I frequent all the time! We've been coming to Always Yours since it opened. Hands down they have the best drinks, cookies, macarons, cakes, and now salt bread! I always come to get treats for my kid's teachers (for their birthdays, teacher appreciation week, just because, etc.). I've brought friends visiting the Bay Area to this bakery, which they have loved. Always Yours also has fun cup sleeve events, macaron classes and afternoon tea from time to time. We love supporting small businesses and this one is definitely worth supporting! P.S. with all these drink places popping up in the area...we still think the drinks at Always Yours not only taste better, but also are of higher quality. read more

Get the butter toffee cookie because it is so delicious! The store is very clean, plenty of seating to enjoy your sweet treat. Order the ube cheesecake, butter toffee cookie, and a assam milk tea with boba. The order came out quickly. Ube Japanese cheesecake is tasty, not too much ube taste. It is super light and moist, love how it is not too sweet. For the assam milk tea, I prefer it with more tea flavor. The drink was ok, the matcha drinks look better. 3.5 stars for their Salt Bread. Decided to stop by to try the viral salt bread that is all over social media. I've been to this location once for a Yelp event and loved their macaroons. It has the perfect consistency and texture, so it has been on the top of my list to stop by whenever I'm in the area. We stopped by on a Sunday at noon and there were only a few customers inside. It's small but cozy and clean. I wanted to try all of the flavors - regular, chili oil scallion, and corn cheese. The regular was the best out of the other two in my opinion since it was simple but the bread could have been crisper even though it was warmed up. The other two flavors were very oily and too heavy. Came across this bakery while in castro valley so we decided to try them out. We ordered banana and mango matcha as well as a creme brulee and strawberry cheesecake. The pastries were really good especially the creme brulee. Unfortunately the drinks were disappointing. The matcha itself was pre-made. I saw the server pouring the matcha from a pitcher. Matcha has to be freshly made every order but pouring from a pitcher was just disappointing. The drink was definitely not fresh even the fruit was not fresh. Small bakery in a shopping center with barely any parking. It took us about 15 minutes to find a parking spot. Don't say that you weren't warned! Parking is VERY challenging given that there are a lot of stores/eateries in the area. I came here to check out a cupsleeve event that they were hosting. The bakery is small and the vendors were in a very tight space so it was a little hard to navigate around. No seats were available, so I stood for most of the time. I decided to try their macarons while I was there. Unfortunately they ran out of the BTS printed ones, but I was lucky to buy a couple character ones and a matcha rice crispy treat. My cousin was fortunate enough to score a couple BTS macarons, therefore she was able to show me how they came out. They didn't have a huge selection of desserts to choose from, however, they do have a wide selection of drinks, flavors similar to other boba places. The macarons were light, chewy and filling wasn't too sweet, which was the perfect balance. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the matcha rice crispy treat. The matcha tasted overpowering and it fell apart. Aside from that, this bakery is worth another try. I do hope they have more goodies available next time around. read more

Finally tried the salt bread in original and corn cheese flavors, both of which were equally excellent! The original had a Slight crunch on the outside, salty, yet sweet. Soo good!!!! We had such a wonderful experience with this bakery for our retirement party! From the very beginning, their response time was incredibly quick, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. They were also very flexible, allowing us to customize the dessert menu so it fit exactly what we were looking for. The dessert display was set up beautifully and looked absolutely stunning. Hello my fellow Yelp Foodies! After my doctor's appointment, I made a slight detour to Posh Bagel. I am so happy that I did because I came across this cute little bakery "Always Yours Bakery Cafe". I also had the honor of meeting its owner Natalie. She even took the time to sit down for a quick interview with me. I always enjoy meeting young female entrepreneurs like herself. I feel that small businesses ran/owned by young adults are very underrated and should be given more opportunities. Now for the delicious baked goods and drink... After speaking to Natalie, I just had to try the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. That drink was concoction by Natalie herself. It's a drink that brings back childhood nostalgia. The drink texture was smooth and creamy. The first sip had a gentle taste of matcha and banana flavoring. It also has a refreshing sweetness (can be adjusted to liking) to it. At the bottom of the drink, there's a little bit of a surprise that you can eat with a spoon. What is it you ask? You need to order it to try it out. LOL. I also ordered slices of the following baked goods: Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake, Strawberry Soufflé Cheesecake, and Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake. We ordered a two-tiered strawberry cake from Always Yours Bakery for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! The cream was so light, fluffy, and delicious, not overly sweet or buttery at all. The girls at the front were so rude! No smile, no welcome--just an attitude throughout the entire visit. I won't be going back based on the vibes alone. I love their deserts. I think it cost a bit more than average and I also think the size is less than average but the quality is very good. My favs are the biscoff cheesecake , the crème brule, and my niece Sofia loves the macarons. But one time they had the biscoff cupcakes. It was heavenly. They have not made it since then. I initially wanted to order my daughter's 16th birthday cake from here but with my recent phone interaction with them, I've decided not to. My daughter doesn't like regular cake but she does love Japanese cheesecake. I sent my oldest daughter here to purchase a couple slices to try a few weeks ago. She brought home the Ube and pumpkin cheesecakes and some pumpkin macarons. We really liked the Ube cheesecake so we decided to order that in a full sized cake. Fast forward to today, I give them a call to get more information on ordering. Mind you I did look at their website beforehand but had some additional questions. The person who answered the phone tried to answer my questions but then I was cold transferred to someone else who didn't want to be bothered by my questions. She had a rude tone and kept referring me back to the website. I asked her how long in advance I needed to place the order and she said 1-2 weeks even though their website said 5 days for cheesecakes. She got annoyed when I pointed that out and she responded in a rude tone that it must be old info. Don't get upset with me....I don't manage the website. Then I asked if it's too late since she is saying 1-2 weeks and she said (again in a rude tone) that it's still a week away and to submit the online form to see if they can make it. Then she said that there have been complaints that their online form doesn't work and if that happens to use the online contact link. I guess they don't like customers calling them over the phone - everything should be done online! Call me old school but I do like to pick up the phone and speak with a live person. I was super turned off by the entire conversation and thought okay, they don't want my business. I'll figure out something else. If you have a timeframe for orders, I would recommend giving a specific number of days (i.e. 10 business days). If you can't do it, it's fine. Just be direct. Don't make customers go online and submit a form that takes 2 business days for a response when we can just go on with our lives and make plans elsewhere. So sad because we really did enjoy their Ube cheesecake. Before I called, I was planning on stopping by since we'll be in the Bay so we can check out their other goodies but the impression I got was that they don't want my business. The Matcha banana pudding is fire but my favorite is the Vietnamese coffee with the banana pudding OMG. That's a must. Not overly strong like most Vietnamese coffee, but still so good. I've also had the matcha pistachio but I don't recommend it, idk why I even wanted to try that but the matcha was still good. You can order for pick up which is convenient since there's never no parking in the plaza but at least you can hop in a 15 min parking and grab your drink and go. read more

Their Banana Pudding Matcha Latte is 5/5 - one of my favorites in the east bay!!! I'd gladly go back to get it. Regular sweetness was perfect, and the banana pudding blends with the matcha so well. As you drink, the banana gets a little soggy and you get little chunks as you sip. The creaminess of the drink and the banana flavor itself are also perfect - 10/10!!! I used to frequent Always Yours for their unique desserts and quality matcha, but I was really disappointed by the customer service I received today. I ordered two matcha drinks from their kiosk: a banana pudding matcha and a matcha with Biscoff cream top. A few minutes later, I was told they were out of Biscoff cream and was asked if I wanted to substitute it with banana pudding instead. I asked for a regular matcha instead, and they said they would refund the extra charge. When my drinks were ready, I was surprised to receive a matcha with Biscoff cream anyway, along with what was clearly a pistachio cream matcha that I never ordered. I immediately let them know my order was incorrect, and they took it back to fix it. Unfortunately, when I tried the corrected drink, I could still taste pistachio bits in my banana pudding matcha. It seemed like their solution was simply adding banana pudding on top of the original pistachio cream, instead of remaking the drink I ordered properly. Really disappointing experience, especially from a place I previously enjoyed. Better attention to customer orders and quality control would go a long way. read more

She was extremely nice and accommodating, even outside of the bakery's business hours since we were super late. We taste tested and loved ALL the flavors, but ended up with matcha, ube, and vanilla. During the day of the wedding, Natalie and her team promptly delivered this beautiful 3 tiered custom themed cake.
