This was our first time to Dallie's. The restaurant isn't really big , and they were really crowded at lunch time. The good news is that I just heard that they will be expanding the restaurant. Even with the crowd, our food came out really fast. We got the BBQ Nachos, Cuban Sandwich, and the Fire & Ice Fried Pickles. The nachos had a twist, in that they were served on Billy Goat Kicker chips. I thought this worked out well, They added a zip to the overall flavor. The pulled pork was tender and shredded well. There were plenty of toppings for all the chips. The Cuban was also delicious. I really enjoyed the ham that they used. It was really tender. The pulled pork was tasty on it as well. We had Dalie's cater our poolside wedding last weekend. It was an outstanding experience from first contact with Emily, and the tasting to a smooth delivery and fantastic food! Everyone LOVED the ribs! The coleslaw is so good as it's not a heavy mayo, but leans into mustard and vinegar. I came here for the first time before Easter holiday. I was completely unsure what to get for my wings, but a cashier named Bill (or Will?) suggested to get dry rub wings as I can experiment with the sauces and he is not wrong! We ordered the Cubana with baked beans, pulled pork nachos, and the pulled pork platter with fried pickles and hush puppies. We split all of this and and saved the pulled pork platter meat to take home to make a pork salad for dinner. Let's start with the nachos. They were very different as they were on ripple potato chips. The nachos had baked bean and pulled pork and a really good cheese melted on it. The Cuban sandwich was very tender and delicious. I would highly recommend this. The pulled pork platter was also very tender and tasty. The fried pickles are delicious. Definitely order these as well as the hush puppies. Traveling through St. Louis and couldn't pass up the chance for some STL barbecue. Found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try -- and wow, am I glad we did. This place is seriously good. My husband ordered the Ultimate Reuben and said it was hands-down the best Reuben he's ever had. I went with the smoked turkey, and honestly, it was the best turkey I've ever tasted -- incredibly juicy, super tender, and perfectly smoked. They offer two portion sizes, which is a nice touch. We kept seeing rave reviews about the baked beans, so of course we had to try them. Definitely worth it. They've got a little kick, but they're pure goodness. And I have to call out the sauces -- my favorite was the Papa Joe's Original. Sweet, tangy, and just perfect with everything on the plate. We were there for a special event. I had never been there before and we had a special menu that night, so this review is not about their regular menu. I believe there were about 50 of us there for the event. The service was great! It was a seated five course meal with a drink pairing. The staff were wonderful! I'd have lost my mind keeping up with it all, but they did it with smiles and were very pleasant. The food was good! They made things that aren't typical of their menu and did a nice job. We finally tried Dalie's last week! We came in at 6, and it wasn't busy but just as we sat down and were brought our food, the crowd started pouring in. Ambiance is just like your usual BBQ joint. Counter service and you pick your table; basically, it's a hassle-free type of place. The people at the counter were friendly and had a lot of patience while I was trying to decide. I ordered a brisket plate with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Husband ordered the last of their ribs and half a chicken. A lot of food for $53 pre-tip. We brought home the rest of our food and had them for lunch the next day. I like their BBQ. I tried the ribs and the chicken along with my brisket. I liked all, but the ribs were the best out of the 3 meats we tried. He had some baked beans for a side dish. They were good, but my favorite was the coleslaw. It was creamy and quite flavorful. We went here for lunch with my officemates and the moment I entered the place I know I'm going to get a good barbecue.. The ambiance is great that the smell of good bbq is in the air.. I thought they had burnt ends but they don't so I just went with the brisket plate with mac & cheese and baked beans. The service is great, it's the typical ordering up front and then they'll call your name to know where you sit and bring your food to your table. Our food was delivered quickly. And there's not a long line, so we're lucky as my friend told me they are really popular that line builds up all the way outside. The brisket is OK, I smoke my own brisket and so I find their brisket and actually any other mass produced brisket to be of lesser quality that what I make. But I would say it's not bad at all. I see a little of smoke ring, the meat is juicy, I just felt there's something missing in the taste, but hey, I did not use any of their sauces which for me means I'm eating a good bbq. The sides is what really made me give them 5 stars. That I would say is the best baked beans I have ever had.. no kidding.. it's not dry and it's full of flavor that is not just plainly bbq sauce in it. There's certainly magic done in their beans. There are shreds of meat in there and it's not overwhelming the beans. This will be my go to side when we come back here. The mac & cheese is right there at the top for me. It is hard to find fault with place. My only objection was to the truck driver with the rusted truck he parked across two lanes of handicapped parking. Very good BBq. The vibe and furniture and decorations are like a lot of small microbreweries, but the focus here is BBQ meats. Yes, they do have some good local can beer, no draft. A wide variety of clientele, obviously the locals love it. Every table has about 6 different sauces to try. Prices are reasonable for smoked meats, I have seen some outrageous prices at other smokehouses that think a little too highly of themselves. The pulled pork was particularly good compared to many others I have tried, this pork was pulled in long pieces that were moist and perfectly cooked, not chopped into unrecognizable chunks.
