Brisket Platter with fries, tater salad, cornbread and cinnamon butter- wings opposite
    Chris M.

Service was very good. Had not been here since new ownership began. Had the wings and brisket at the servers suggestion. Overall both were disappointing. Wings lack flavor and were almost undercooked. Brisket was days old and dried out.

Great food and excellent service! Decided to try this BBQ joint that recently changed hands. Love the new outdoor seating like BBQ should be enjoyed. Nice little bar with a variety of beers and an outstangly prepared Old Fashioned. Burnt Ends & Ribs were outstanding; and better than expected. Plantain side was BBQ'd and delicious, a nice twist to plantains....I recommend. Service by Amy was cheerful and great. Will definitely return for more BBQ.

Fantastic food! I heard about this place opening, but haven't tried it yet. So glad I did! I ordered the turkey plate with green beans & baked beans & it comes with cornbread. The turkey was moist & seasoned well. I liked the sweet BBQ sauce. The cornbread was great! Very moist & served with honey butter. The green beans are high quality - fresh green beans sautéed in seasoning & topped with parmesan cheese. The baked beans are good, slightly sweet but a little plain tasting. Maybe a bit more seasoning to kick up the flavors. I got my order to go & realized I forgot to order one of their sourdough chocolate chip cookies. I really want to try that... can't wait to go back for more BBQ and dessert next time! Also the workers were very friendly!

A unique barbecue spot hidden in a plaza right off Manchester Rd. 3Mix takes your classic barbecue and adds a little latin flair! The Arepas were great! I tried a chicken and a pork one and they were very generous with the portions of meat! The corn cakes make this appetizer distinctly Latin and a fun variation on your typical barbecue. For being in a plaza they have a large outdoor seating area that would work great for groups.

Guess who's back!? If you were a fan of GastroPit (or just love legit barbecue), you're going to be happy to see 3 Mix BBQ. Two of the folks from GastroPit teamed up with a third partner to bring this new spot to life, and a lot of those fan-favorite menu items have made a comeback. The space has an open dining room with a relaxed vibe. Service was super friendly and attentive. No bar service just yet, but they said the paperwork is in process--so that's coming soon. I came for lunch and was impressed with how many options they've got on the menu. I went with the Smoked Beef Brisket sandwich--a heaping pile of perfectly cooked brisket, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Topped with cheese and crispy onions, it was exactly what I was hoping for. Tried out some of their sauces too--the white Bianca was my favorite with brisket, with the Memphis sauce close behind. For my side, I couldn't resist the seasoned tots. Sure, nothing fancy--but crispy, salty, and just the right call alongside barbecue. So glad to see this crew back in action. Great food, great service, and lots to look forward to once the bar opens. I'll definitely be back.

    Pulled pork sandwich

Went there Sunday for lunch. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and green beans as my side. The pulled pork was tasty but it was a little dry so I used their sweet barbecue sauce to juice it up. The green beans appeared grilled but they needed more time on the grill. They were seasoned nicely. I received great service sitting at the bar. There's a large parking lot in front of the restaurant.

Brisket, ribs and pulled pork platter for my kid. She loved it.

Delicious food. We have being looking for a bbq place since I moved to the area. A place where you don't need to add sauce or seasoning extra for the meat taste good. 3mix BBQ has definitely a great flavor. The staff went over and beyond, for my kid to be happy.

New BBQ place on Manchester. Service was great and they have a lot of outdoor seating. We got the combo plate with burnt ends, ribs, and pulled pork with fries, cornbread, and mac n cheese. Everything was great. Cornbread was my absolute favorite. Burnt ends had perfect flavor as well. Would definitely recommend!

The 3Mix plate with brisket, turkey breast, and rib s with coleslaw and beans and cornbread.

Excellent brisket, turkey breast, and ribs. Tasty "Bianca" space. Very good coleslaw and beans. Fast, friendly service.

This restaurant is easy to get too, has adequate parking and the restaurant itself is casual and inviting. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly and attentive. Our young waiter was especially helpful with the menu. The food came quickly and was good. Unfortunately, not great. My wife and I both got the trio of meats, brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All were cooked well but under smoked for my liking. The sides we tried were all fresh but again, just good not great. I ordered a 2-meat platter with burnt ends that were phenomenal and the smoked habanero turkey that was moist and delicious and the spicy BBQ sauce adding a nice little zing. I was a little disappointed that the place didn't offer cornbread or Texas toast with the platter and I didn't think to ask until after I got my food. Sides were good and I thought the baked beans were very good but the Mac n Cheese was a little too cheese-whizzy for me and wasn't too crazy about it but will get potato salad next time. Also I'll try their brisket on the next visit l since that's my measure of truly great Texas style BBQ. It's kind of an odd setup for a restaurant since it's inside a service station but it's a really nice service station and the restaurants decor is pretty nice. I'd give it 4.5 stars if they allowed it, but will go with 5 stars for now.

The baked beans were yummy, the coleslaw was average, and the potato salad was yummy but not memorable. The downside was the staff. While I waited, they were eating and not very business place. I also tried the drive thru, but waited for about 10 minutes with no response, so I went inside. Great food, but the overall experience definitely could use some improvement.

We tried the BBQ Sausage platter, and the BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Both of them were pretty good and a big portion size. The sausage had a lot of flavor and both meals came out fresh and hot- our favorite side was probably the fries but the potato salad and greens were also good. Service was decent, was sad I couldn't get just a "brisket platter" and only the sandwich, as the brisket platters are apparently exclusive for a "catering menu". Overall, it's a nice, smaller sized bar type restaurant with a stage, so I assume they have live music on certain nights as well.

I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.
