A cute little hole in the wall cocktail bar. They have excellent happy hour Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 7pm. You don't want to bring too large of a crowd as the biggest table is a four top and it is a pretty small space. It is in an alley off of King Street. The cocktails are delicious and the vibe is great as well.

This is a fantastic little cocktail bar downtown, great cocktails, fun service, super cool vibe. I have only been a handful of times but I've enjoyed every cocktail I've had and every experience at the bar. I've seen tiki nights advertised and I'd like to try one in the future. Happened to go on a service industry night once and they offered some specials as well as merch. Highly recommend for great drinks downtown and not super crowded!

We were on the early side for this small, cozy bar. It was empty but supposedly gets busier later. Good drinks, chatty bartender.

Great spot on a backstreet of downtown Charleston! Found this place after leaving dinner on Valentine's Day and saw a crowd gathering. Cozy space with a DJ and was totally black lit. Bartenders were very helpful and they had a creative menu! Definitely a nice surprise that we stumbled into and added to our night. Expresso Martini was also well made and exactly what I needed to stay moving on a busy night!

Great bar right on the heart of the action, but a bit hidden to keep it private and cozy. The drinks and cocktails are spectacular and the service is friendly and impeccable. I had the cocktail of the day, which was a unique midori cocktail which was refreshing and fun. I love the happy hour and the fact that it is later than the average bar right at opening . Amazing spot and location for great value! Check it out.

We walked down here after eating at Bourbon and Bubbles. We immediately felt welcome and he turned out to be one of the owners. It's a very cool atmosphere and is small, but that makes it more intimate. There is also outdoor seating. The drink menu was vast and also delicious! It seems like a place locals hang out and yet we still felt included. We'd love to have this place in our area. Definitely worth a visit while in the area.

Would not have known Dalila's was there if it wasn't for participating in Women's History Month Bar Crawl. Small bar on Spring St. The bartender, Fabiana, was very welcoming and had lots of energy. Made us an awesome drink. One if the best on the crawl.

I liked the cocktails. I don't believe they have food or bar snacks. The menu seems to change often which provides a lot of variety. It is located on a slower spot downtown, but conveniently located close to king. A good spot for pre-dinner drinks. I enjoyed the music selection.

This place is great. Mike (the bartender) is terrific at answering your questions and making drink suggestions. Everything he served me was delicious. While the address is listed as Meeting Street, it's actually on Spring Street.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience doesn't quite live up to the room itself. The drink menu felt more like a typical bar menu with a handful of tiki drinks sprinkled in, and it was missing many of the tiki classics you'd expect. Maybe you can order them off-menu, but that's a lot less fun than having a thoughtfully curated tiki menu to explore. The food selection was also very limited and felt overpriced for what you get. The Bamboo Room occupies the second floor of a building with three different bars, each with its own menu, and I think that's part of the problem. It feels less like a dedicated tiki bar and more like one themed floor of a larger operation. They went all-in on the decor, but not quite on the experience. The service was friendly, but it felt interchangeable with the other floors--no unique uniforms, presentation, or tiki flair. There's a great tiki bar hiding in here. Put as much care into the drinks, food, service, and overall experience as went into designing the room, and The Bamboo Room could really be something special.

Easy and low-key, just something to keep in mind if you're expecting full service. I will say... people love to call places "tiki bars" these days just because there's a tent and a couple tropical drinks--this didn't really give true tiki vibes. That said, it's still a really nice place to hang out. The staff was friendly, and big bonus--it's pet friendly, which we always appreciate. The view is really pretty, and they had live music going which added to the atmosphere. We shared the seared tuna power bowl--it was good flavor-wise, but a little skimpy on the tuna and rice for the price. Overall, a solid, relaxed spot to grab a drink, enjoy the view, and hang out--especially if you have your dog with you.

It was a Wednesday night and the skies were about to open up, but I was surprised when we arrived that it was completely empty. Right away we loved the decor, but I was confused as to where everybody was. The bartender came out and let us know that it was just a particularly slow night and offered us a menu. We decided to stay to have our newly found private bar all to ourselves. Some people pay big money for that. After ordering, we admired more of the tiki decor and took a seat at one of the cozy tables across from the bar. They drinks came and not only did they taste great but they looked great too. My friends drink came in a giant gold owl. The cocktails came in really cool tiki mugs that made for excellent pictures, and many of the mugs are available for purchase if you want to take home a little souvenir. The servers were also fantastic--friendly, attentive, and quick to keep the drinks flowing. The only real downside is that the décor is fairly light on the tiki atmosphere, and the experience could have used some proper tiki music in the background. Still, the drinks and service more than made up for it. There was also a rather unusual incident during our visit. A man burst into the bar wearing a giant bucket hat with a buckle and began demanding that everyone be arrested for witchcraft. He kept shouting, "You're all witches!" despite our repeated assurances that we were simply enjoying cocktails. I told him to calm down, but he refused. So, after finishing my fourth drink, I raised my glass and began reciting the menu backward. Suddenly, a bright blue light enveloped him. He screamed, vanished completely, and left behind nothing but the faint smell of coconut rum. Everyone in the bar applauded, and I was rewarded with free stickers and a drink stirrer. A marvelous evening, all things considered.

The outdoor seating is a nice touch, with a mix of open-air tables and some covered spots at the bar for shade. The drink menu is decent, with plenty of tropical cocktails to choose from, though the beer selection is surprisingly limited for a place that stays this busy. Most of the service seems to run through the bar, and while the bar staff was friendly, upbeat, and doing their best despite being absolutely swamped, the table service was pretty spotty. The food menu is just okay--nothing terrible, nothing standout. I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich at lunch, and unfortunately it did not sit well with me at all. It upset my digestive system enough to derail one of my vacation days, which definitely colored the experience. One thing that stood out was the presence of armed security guards. Not necessarily a problem, but it does create a different atmosphere than you might expect from a casual beachfront bar. Many reviews have mentioned the parking. We stayed at the hotel, so it wasn't an issue for us but somebody sitting next to me at the bar was ejected by management for something related to parking. I'm not sure of the exact details because I couldn't hear the conversation well, but it seemed to have to do with either buying or selling a parking pass with someone else. There was another incident where an unruly patron had the police called on them after engaging with one of the aforementioned security guards. That said, these seemed to be atypical of the total experience. Overall, it's an entertaining spot for drinks and music, but the unpleasant food experience land it at a middle-of-the-road three stars for me.
