It was also kind of pricey for the size, so I'd probably go elsewhere if you're coming here specifically for shaved ice. However, I know they're known for their cakes and I've heard really great things about them, so I'm definitely willing to give this place another try for that instead. Their matcha also looks pretty good. The inside is really nice though with plenty of seating, and it seems like a perfect spot for studying or catching up with friends with free wifi and outlets around. The customer service here is honestly some of the worst I've ever encountered. Staff completely ignored customers at the counter, no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy, nothing. It felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there. I later called and I asked to speak with someone about the experience, and instead of handling it professionally, the person who answered hung up on me while I was still talking. When I called back, they refused to let me speak to a manager. This happened two days in a row. That tells you everything you need to know about how this business operates. If they can't handle basic customer interaction or feedback, they shouldn't be running a customer-facing business. There are plenty of coffee shops out there that actually value their customers. Came here to study on a friends suggestion. I love it here. It's on the quieter side and they do have a small parking lot. They also have study rooms but they do need to be reserved in advance, which I'm not sure how. WiFi was a little tricky in the beginning. It wasn't working even though I was connected to it. After a few minutes, it was working smoothly. Definitely was not due to a volume of people because I went in around 9 AM and there were like 6 people at most. Seemed to have a good amount of outlets, so you don't have to pray to get a seat with an outlet nearby. The seats are comfortable to sit in too, which is amazing. I had an iced vanilla latte, iced chocolate latte, citron canele, and Lemon Tart. Vanilla latte was not anything special, it's your typical vanilla latte. I really liked the iced chocolate latte, it was rich and creamy. I'm also obsessed with the citron canele. The lemon tart ok, there was a little too much whipped cream on top and the baked part at the bottom was a little hard. Staff is super friendly and mainly stay downstairs. 8/10/2025 - I was told this store offers a freshly pressed beets juice, which can clean liver. I visited the store for that purpose. Yes, the taste is very good. Overall I would say the pastries were a 3/5. We ordered the peach danish pastry, custard turnover and a strawberry Nutella croissant. The peach danish tasted the best out of all of the options we selected. The custard turnover and the strawberry Nutella croissant were just ok, would recommend skipping. On the other hand, service was really good! The cashier was informative and kind, which is why I gave this cafe a 4/5 instead of a 3. This place replaced coin de rue, and honestly I feel like coin de rue was better and had more variety with their pastries. Dalkom had a wide variety of cakes though. This is an amazing place to study; however, the menu could use some work. The images on Google Maps are not updated, so the expected pastries won't be present. I first ordered the double matcha and despite the "double," all I could taste was milk. I decided to come back and try again. I asked for the shaved ice, which was on the menu, but the employee told me that they weren't doing it anymore. If they weren't doing it anymore, then why would it be on the menu? Another disappointment I encountered was when I checked their website for drinks, and it had mentioned a black sesame latte. I asked about it and they said they weren't doing that anymore either. I wouldn't recommend this place for the drinks, but this is a great place to hang out. I pivoted to the Choco Cold Brew, which was pretty good.
