This is my second time visiting this location and both times my experience was good. The restaurant is small but I don't mind that, and both times I have visited it was never crowded. They have TVs and a nice sound system that isn't terribly loud and they play some really nice songs that goes with the atmosphere. Some R&B, a little Hip Hop, Reggae, Soca, Pop, you know a nice mix. My most recent visit was about a week ago on Saturday at 5. I met up with one of my friends and it was a fun time. We were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived, and the server, Kendrea, introduced herself. Very nice girl, patient, and attentive. For appetizers we ordered the Angry Shrimp (1 portion good enough for 2 persons) and the Crab Cakes and Shrimp (1 portion can be shared with another, but really enough for 1 person). My friend ordered a Salmon Ceasar Salad and I had the Grilled Salmon Filet with a Baked Potato as our entrees with a side order of Mac and Cheese (1 portion good enough for 2 persons). The food was all well prepared and delicious! For drinks we ordered them Texas size! She had a Strawberry Tsunami with a shot and I had a Tangerine Pineapple Crush with Champagne. The drinks was sooo good! Aside from that we really enjoyed our time. We ate, laughed and chatted at our table for quite a long time and was not rushed to leave or asked if we were ordering anything else. You know those things they do when they want you to hurry up at the table. None of that. We were also given complimentary little red velvet cakes after our dinner. My mom and her co-workers where in town and this is the first place I took them. They were so happy to get some real food. Everything was good. Parking is a nightmare in this area but they offer parking lots for an additional fee so goodluck and try getting there at a decent time if you're not going to park in a lot. I was seated instantly and there was no wait time on a Friday at around 7pm which was great for us. The atmosphere was nice and there were TVs around to watch along with empty seating next to us due to COVID-19. We decided to get Texas sized drinks. My boyfriend got a margarita mixed with strawberry and I had a strawberry daiquiri. The daiquiri comes with no alcohol which is why those shot glasses are there to add it yourself which is a great concept and I love the way it looks! We order a lil onion loaf appetizer which is basically onion rings shaped as a tower. We asked for BBQ sauce to dip it in and it tasted so great! Our food came fairly quickly before we could even finish the appetizer. My boyfriend got the classic combo which has half a rack of ribs, chicken, steak, corn bread and he got fries as his side. I got a Hennessy burger with fries. His classic combo was ok, the steak tasted like a diner steak which isn't anything great. The ribs also didn't taste as good as I would have hoped but the bbq sauce is great. The chicken was ok as well. He noted he probably wouldn't be getting that classic combo next time he would want a burger or wings. As for my Hennessy burger it was absolutely amazing and I have no complaints! The burger was cooked perfectly since I asked for it medium. The Hennessy sauce was sooo amazing and tasted different to me. The fries were just ok but I'm happy I asked for extra bbq sauce to dip. The bill came out to over $75 not including tip. I would come here again because I did like the burger and my boyfriend would want to try something else since the classic combo wasn't anything special. I went to this Dallas BBQ location for drinks with my sister. We also ended up ordering a vegetable tempura. While eating the vegetable tempura I found a foreign bone mixed in my tempura. He continued to tell me that it was batter that was hard and I'm like are you freakin serious this is not batter its clearly a bone. Went here yesterday for Halloween we were seated right away. Our waiter was cool very nice and attentive. We ended up getting The Texas size Margaritas with added shot. It had some kick to it so that was cool. We started with the Shrimp Cocktail the shrimp they used were some decent sized Jumbo Shrimp. Then we ended up getting complimentary chocolate cake. When you come into a Dallas BBQ, you pretty much come in knowing what to expect; hence our choice to dine in before our movie on a Saturday evening. The first nice thing about this restaurant is the fact that it's open late, making it a better choice for a sit-down dinner versus a fast food joint, for example. Secondly, the place is actually more spacious than first meets the eye. The service was good; we had a kind and attentive, albeit a bit overworked, server. The food was nothing out of this world, but definitely also not bad for a Dallas BBQ (compared with our last visit to the 42nd street location). Disadvantages: the place was a bit overcrowded for comfort and as such, also noisy. Be prepared to sit close enough to your neighbors to overhear their private conversations. My utensils were smudgy and I had to ask for new ones. The full rack of baby back (pork) ribs: nice-sized portion but also not served hot (room temperature). Overall, we are looking forward to returning to try out the wings and perhaps a Texas-sized beverage. read more

I had a pineapple crush and henny wings with fries. My wings could gave been cooked a bit longer but they were ok. My drink was delicious. Tried a piece of my brother's cornbread and some shrimp. They were very good. They have a huge tv and were playing some good music while we were there. Loved the atmosphere and looking forward to going back after a day of shopping.
